I’m glad to hear! It wasn’t a elegant or professional job by far, but it’s perfect for the job. I have taken out the rear seat base and keep the rear seat upper part folded flat now... with the passenger front seat forward and reclined I can even fit a mountain bike inside ( with the front wheel off 😂)
I’ve actually now got another piece tougher fabric that cover the whole lid and back of the seat (when folded flat). This makes it easier to move stuff around and can still be moved to place over the passenger front seat for a full length coverage (as I’ve been using the Jimny to get my mountain bike around so it now fits inside with the front wheel off!)

That works. With dog proof mat over the top that would be perfect.
