I would punish the engineer who designed this mess, to change the bulbs in all Renault cars. I took half the car apart to change that bulb. Also check the power plug of the H7 bulb. It is of poor quality, the shoes come off and the cable burns.

I was worried about mine and tried this also. It didn't seem to have the suction as suggested by others. I tried a bent-backward endoscope camera to see the exhaust valves. They looked ok (no obvious damage). Your rightside pipe seems to be weaker than the one on the left. Do you know for sure you have burnt valves or something else like restricted exhaust?

It is not calibrated. Press down until it reach bottom and then hold the button for 10 seconds and it should now work again.

Haha does the letters B, M and W make your CTEK somehow better than original CTEK. It is exactly the same device but must cost a lot more because of those three letters instead of four.

my CTEK 5 fail to enter Recondition Mode - because it stops operation at step 5 - and Recond Starts at 7th step . - It just jumps with an error light - and only Led 5 is illuminitad . - Reason for this is if you read the manual - "failing to keep up the voltage" - I tried once one more time to do this - and it fails very quickly on this step again. - First 4 steps were just insanely fast - within a minutes the all 4 Leds were on, like the battery is really in bad condition ( which we know ) and charging it - were failing. Battery failing is recognizeable by "fast " charge, and after that the battery cannot keep the voltage constant - and it is empty fast as it was "charged" - I didn't try Recond - AGM mode on this battery per se, but maybe I'll gone do that too. - I will update this revew - after that test again.

I am so glad I am not the only one having problems like this with my Renault. I have an old 2003 Megane convertible and the dashlights have decided to stop working and trying to access the fuses is a major ball-ache so I gave up... now I might give it another try when it stops hammering down with rain lol.

Followed this video and the instructable sheet and once I set Aux to ON instead of AUTO, it all worked great 👍🏻

I have to go do this job on a 2013 Clio IV 1.5 dci shortly, and was scouting youtube for pump removal vids in case I was doing things the hard way (and it seems I'm not) and if you think this one is awkward, on the IV they made that access hole smaller than the pump, so all you can do is unplug the fuel pump wiring from above. Then you have to drain the tank, remove the rear arch liners, rear wheels off, handbrake cables, exhaust off to one side, all the lines & wiring to the tank and drop the tank downwards to get access to replace the pump itself. If it was a landrover or something I'd just cut the hole in the floorpan bigger, but apparently that's not the done thing on the wife's car. On a different job on the little turd I had to take off the FAP/Cat & turbo to have it cleaned after turbo failure, and you have to take off the front subframe, steering balljoints, steering rack, anti-roll bar, undertray & plastics etc and take the FAP out below as its too big to get out the space otherwise. For the turbo there's so many pain the arse brackets and fittings jammed between the motor and firewall I gave up and pulled the motor (which involves removing everything forward of the strut towers too) and put one in a lower mileage one from a breakers in so I never have to touch it again. Next time it goes properly wrong its getting repaired by the being doused in petrol and torched method. Its like Renault looked at the Clio3 and thought "How can we enshittify this more for mechanics". The Clio IV phase2 (2014 onwards) revised the FAP & turbo so you dont have to remove half the car to deal with a failed turbo though, probably was too much enshittifaction even for Renault concessionaires.

This seems exactly like the type of radio I have on mine and I really hope it doesn't have that void slot. I'm quite new at this type of thing and I spent 3 hours googling how to put the aux in my car and only after a long time did I realize I had mistaken the CD player with the radio

impossible to do this from inside the car under the rear seat. hole under seat is conveniently offset from the petrol pump, so will have to lower the tank. God knows why it was done like this.
