So Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A7 2020 is an all new affordable tablet that has a lot going for it (in addition to a few downsides) coming in at around $230. In this video we are going to be reviewing and covering every aspect of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A7 and I’ll be sharing my experiences I've had with the device after 2 weeks of usage. We will also be looking at a handful of accessories to go alongside the Tab A7 like the Book Cover case and more. We will also be comparing this tablet to some of Samsung’s other budget tablets like the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Galaxy Tab A 10.1” (2019). Thanks for watching!

Yeah while every other tech reviewer just focuses on flagships
Sometimes mid-range variants are actually better then their flagship variant simply because of the cost of said flagship devices. You might get like 4 or 5 more small features in a flagship device, for nearly double or even triple the cost. Like the Galaxy A series phones, though they might not be as good as the Galaxy S series, they are actually really good phones, and at half the price, if I didn't buy my Galaxy S10+ used, I could have bought an A series new for about the same price (though I was really set on the S10+ and don't regret it)

This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

@@SeoWoojin55 biggest issue for me is the touch screen is not as sensitive. I have a stylus with one of those small ball joints and a flat disc on it, used to work perfect on my old tab, but this I have no precision.

Great thing about this is the stereo sound you get no matter if you use it in portrait or landscape.
Thanks for mentioning the display issue. There's been plenty of people noticing it across the web. It looks at its best at the center but it's too narrow. The sides will be darker and less contrasty. Smells like some sort of VA panel with inherent gamma problems on corners. Vision can be subjective though. Most people don't care about these.
I care a lot about this aspect. So, I disposed myself of this tablet. For this this reason only. For me, this is the most important aspect in a tablet.

My family gave this one to me for xmas to replace my 4 year old tab A and even my older one is still in good condition! I enjoy using my newer one its faster and I love the sleeker look of it. I am a huge fan of Samsung Tablets and been using them ever since they came on the market many years ago.
I have been watching this for sometime and I like it because of my eye sight is getting worse where can I get one here in pueblo co or from any other place I hear they have aspecial I'm neat this but I have a 12.4" but I would like that tablet I have a samsung galaxy touch tablet I like it because I can take to bed with me so I really would like to get one will I be able to keep everything the way I have it now my same telephone carrier and etc I am looking for a place to get on now that they say they have it on sale my husband vision is not that good either we are in our 90 and we like to listen to the bible and christain music I will keep on watching from pueblo co

I have been using this Tab A7 for online classes for quite a while now, and I don't have any regrets at all! This is a pretty decent tablet for productivity. However, just like what is says on the video, it does not come with S Pen & it lacks some functionality that other tablets (like S6 Lite) have. If you're looking for a tablet to use for entertainment and/or online class, I suggest you buying this one!

@@itsbasicbeth6737 as far as I know, S Pen is not compatible with Tab A7 at all even if you buy it separately but you can buy stylus pen. correct me if I'm wrong 😅
It's quite amazing how far we've come when it comes to tablet affordability. My first tablet was an Acer and was pretty bulky in 2011 with a memory of 16 gb, 7 inch screen priced at 270 at Best Buy.

FYI I use mine for RUclips 📺 TV along with a killer JBL Bluetooth "Charge 4" and I'm telling you
.....the experience is hard to beat and with the the smaller setup it yields a very "personal, intimate" experience.

I love my Samsung Tab A7 10.4 in... that I just bought in Target 2 weeks ago for $178. Your review was interesting and pretty thorough. One feature that I found to be amazing was how you can pinch/zoom a tiny square inch and fill the entire tablet with it !! I feel like it's some of the best money I've spent in the last couple years. I'd probably by this tablet if it was $300 now that I know what I have. Now, I am looking for a good case for it.

A capacity of around 22Gb (32Gb less OS, bloatware, and some factory-installed applications actually desired) is pretty large, but given that the unit and OS are built such that applications can't be dependably installed on an external card, just getting a large external card might not be the same. (Yes, developer options might allow extCard installations on the A7, but I've noticed degraded and wonky performance when doing that on a Tab A/r.10.x, so I stopped doing that.)

I find it charges faster with a higher wattage adapter. I am pretty sure it can charge at higher rates than advertised. I use the charger from my one plus 6t and it's faster.
And u can't transfer an app to the sd card

I agonized over selecting a tablet for weeks, repeatedly reading specs,, performance reviews and considering their prices. At one time, I even decided to go for the S7 FE! But practicality ruled over everything so i purchased this tablet eventually. I have not read this review until now so i am just very glad i made the correct choice. The A7 can effectively perform almost everything the top of the line tabs can do at 1/3 the price. Thank you for this review. 👍👍👍

Bought it today here in sweden for 229 us dollar. Amazing speakers so it will be good for me to play music on.
Just played around with it in store and ordered it. I've got a note 20 ultra but wanted a bigger screen for Netflix, RUclips, and possibly brawl stars. The speakers sounded great!

@ Clarize Merzo - I encouraged my mum to buy an Samsung tablet 3 years ago - she loved it, and when she died in 2018 I inherited it (an upgrade from my 2012 Nexus 7). Unfortunately it has just died and I need a new one!!
I have found that, when introducing older people to using tech, they find the touchscreens more intuitive, versus a mouse and keyboard.
My mum was nearly 80 and had bad eyesight but she still managed to learn how to play games, search the web and watch films/ TV on her tablet.

That was a great review, thank you. I'm looking for a replacement for my old TESCO HUDL2 (which you have possibly not heard of outside of the UK) and this looks to be good solution. Man I really liked the way you reviewed this device even though I'm watching it the day after I bought it. Yes it takes way too long to charge up but the battery life is decent so that sort of makes up for it. The display is great too and I can see everything on my screen from every angle. I checked. Great review!
Good overall review. I like that you point out some issues, but also keep things in perspective -like the rotation and reaction time. You also mentioned energy comsumption percentage on different activities as well as the slow charging. I did notice that as well. I use a different charger from another tablet that has fast charging. Does fast charging damage or shorten the life of the battery? I also like you mentioned/compare the other tablets -Tab A, S6 lite and S7. Great job.
P.s,if you turn off animations in settings the tablet is so much quicker no lag at all very quick

@@asense8152 it's also available in mobile devices, sometimes it's in the developer option. Turn it off and will be faster than ever (cause no animation)

This is why I was looking at this video to find out the screen resolution or quality. I’m looking for a tab that has good screen none darker view from an angle I guess.
I've been debating a tablet for on the go since I switched from laptop to desktop PC. I have been circling around this tab for a while, since the S7/S7+ and similar tablets price has been putting me off the idea. I am happy to say you've convinced me the A7 is a worthy acquisition.
Good review overall. I would say it would be worth adding things like tablet performance watching movies over PLEX, and highlighting the performance of the tab during some more demanding 3D games; demonstrating gaming over something like Xbox xcloud would be a bonus.

Thanks for the review, I bought A7 after watching this. Imo, unless you need super quick RAM crunching experience it's pretty good tablet for the price. It's very useful for YT and some lite graphic intense games
