I would like to ask you about the keyboard that you were using in the video, what type it is and how much it costs please
Used to have the A7 Lite and sold it as its processor is just too slow for my needs even for basic browsing the stutters are evident. The A9 is miles better in performance and it no longer stutters when doing basic tasks like web browsing. Although its pretty much the same in most areas. Low quality TFT display with low pixel density and noticeable light bleeding on the edges. Still dual speakers with no biometrics besides a face recognition using the camera (which is low security).
But for me the performance improvements alone make this a worthwhile upgrade from the A7 Lite.
Maybe its fast because its new. How long did you have your 7 for?
A year ago but it was kinda stuttering already from the start. Sold it after 3 months and bought an A9 immediately after release.
But from your experience, do you recommend upgrading from the A7 Lite to the A9? Since I have an A7 Lite and it is somewhat slow

Nice comparison, I currently have an older (2016) Tab A 10.1 which runs my Electronic Flight Bag just fine albeit a hair slow at times. Thinking about a smaller tablet to fit more comfortably on a Yoke mount. One thing of importance is the brightness, and it looks like the A9 might be better than the A7 Lite. Any information when the A9 will be available here in the US.
Where did you buy this in the US? Also, do you know if one from the UK or Canada would work in the US (LTE Model)?
I'm looking for the ultimate productivity tablet, also light gaming, and I wouldn't mind recording or editing some videos/pictures for my RUclips. I think the A8 Tablet was really good but I'm looking at Onn, maybe the market will get better.
I have a7 lite lte, mainly used as my reading and streaming consumption only device than my mobile. I think i'll passed to a9 since the lte version is still pricey side considering there's no major upgrade to the functionality side.
Tab A9 weight is 333 gram and while tab A7 lite is 371 gram. I have the Tab A7 lite and I used it for reading manga and its very nice, the only thing I don't like about its heavy for my arm

I wish A9 was available in US while A7 Lite is too inferior (slow processor).
Now even Lenovo M9 is better (G80 vs P22T) while A9 has G99 (same processor as P11 G2)
Does a9 support auto sleep when closing using cover case? A7 lite do not support it.

Are the screens of a7 and a9 same? The screen viewing angle of a7 is narrow.
As an A7 lite user, the three things I want are lighter, faster, and a fingerprint scanner.

I have it and its pretty decent and nice sized. Petformance is good for basic multitasking even when i also have the s9+ tab to compare with, but yeah really wish samsung makes an ipad mini competitor. Meanwhile i mainly use this tab for pdf reading when im not in home, since its cheap im not that worried about it getting damaged or something and brightness is sufficient (barely) to be used outdoors, and i hope that gets better with the matte screen protector i just bought

I have A7 lite. I close background apps with an app and use a game booster to clear the ram and i can play Any game on it. A9 will blow away the A7. Especially the 8gb ram model
In your Video about the A7 Lite I saw you presenting in the tablet Bible passages. So you are a christian. These days some rare findings. I am an christian as well.
I just bought the A7 Lite LTE for me for christmas for 117 US$ from Amazon. It came with Android 13 and UI 5.1.1. I use it only for RUclips, reading news and occasional surfing. Majorly as an entertainment device for outside sitting. So for me the speakers are the most important thing on these. These have actually not only 2 speakers according to the manual but they have 3 speakers. The one is hidden on the small grid above the light sensor and front camera (where on an smartphone the speaker normally is. Obvious, since it is an LTE model. But as well the WiFi only models have 3 speakers. The one in the grid is facing towards the user blasting to the front.
These speakers are way way louder than those on the Amazon Fire tablets. This A7 Lite is of an vastly higher quality than those Amazon tablets.
The A7 Lite has the MediaTek Helio P22T CPU and the A9 has the MediaTek Helio G99 CPU. The A7 Lite CPU has an 2.30 GHz
4x Cortex-A53 and 1.80 GHz 4x Cortex-A53 for an 8 core CPU with 4 Performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. The A9 CPU has 2.20 GHz 2x Cortex-A76 and 2.00 GHz 6x Cortex-A55 for an 8 core CPU with 2 Performance cores and 6 efficiency cores. Overall pretty similar CPU but the A9 CPU has an vastly quicker RAM speed and vastly quicker GPU.
The A7 Lites CPU has NX and TrustZone which the CPU of the newer A9 supposedly has not - those are safety features to block malware and such. The A9 CPU has more performance and speed features. The MediaTek Helio P22T is an older CPU from 2018 and the MediaTek Helio G99 is an new CPU from 2022.
So the A9 will be quicker due to quicker RAM speeds and quicker GPU.

I have the A7 lite. The L and R stereo output are reversed when holding it in landscape mode with volume rocker on top. I wonder if this has been fixed with the A9.

Speakers would then be blocked by your hands. Update to Android 14 fixed the issue.
Just got A9 today. Bought it lower than my A7 Lite in 2022. I love it. There's a huge difference in performance.

Thanks I love my a7 lte but it's showing a need for upgrade. Like the size for one hand use other tablets this size just don't get the software upgrades that samsung give. As far as screen goes the lighter resolution does use a lot less power, I have the latest iPad mini and don't use it because it's a power hog.

It will get 2-3 OS updates und 4 years of security updates but not supposed to get update as quickly as the more expensive ones.

A7 lite owner here. Netflix is widevine L1. I just had to uninstalled/reinstall the app, and sign back in.

unfortunately neither of these have video out so you can't use an hdmi adapter

I have a7 but it was 3gb version, when i use chrome or some mobilephone game and it will lag😂 (sometimes loading lag and sometimes it will flash or close down)

I bought the international version of the A9 that isn't unlocked. Is there a difference with it be being "unlocked" compared to just international? And also since it's from another country and i live in the US does it really matter what region i say as they are all overseas locations listed? Will it have any type of warranry coverage for the US? I've tried looking this up and don't get any definite info. If anyone in the comments can help it would be much appreciated also. Would be so much easier if the A9 was released in the US already, if it ever does.
“international version” is either WIFI only or LTE “unlocked”. theres different international regions: uk, middle east, oceania (sea and aus). just set up with AUS and itll work like normal. no US warranty for non-US model. if your A9 is defective thats RIP.

i haven't tried it with a sim card yet but considering it has the phone app, earpiece on front and sim card slot i would say there's a pretty good chance
@@FishBeeProductions please try it out, i consider them tablets and not like the phone tablets we have these days which more sense. An example is the alldocube Iplay 50 Mini Pro
if it has ips panel, it will be perfect tablet for me.
At $169 (which I don't recommend and should go for the 8gb model at 209), it is overpriced and not worth it. The display is pixelated at small fonts, the vibration haptic motor feels like a 90's product, and the stutters that one sees throughout the UI really makes one question it every use. I love the form factor and almost wanted to keep it due to it, but can't over these huge faults. Samsung could easily make a great tablet for a bit more if they desired, but they don't, and this turned out to be another environmental waste of a product. Would rather get a Kindle Fire HD 10 at 85 on sale that has a HD screen or a older gen iPad which is miles better.
The only struggle I have with the A9, feels like the touch is delay lol hahahaaha
the only reason I got A7 Lite is because of the BIGGER screen size.

I tried it, and then I had to return the a7 lite earlier this year. Lagged so much and the stutter was bad. Also, the color of the display had a blue tint to it, and It was dogshit for reading books/manga/comics. Which is what I bought it for... I find the 8.9ish size is perfect for reading. I seen that the lenovo has a y700 gaming tablet, but that might be a bit overkill just for reading... lol.
A7 Lite is basically e-waste. It went on sale last year for $100 and I picked one up, I came to the same conclusions as you, it was unusable. Screen is too shit for watching movies and the processor is too slow to play games. I returned it 2 days after getting it.

Too bad all these big manufacturer's are busy with these Tablet style foldable phones that cost $1799... Its just ridiculous.

I have the a7 lite with 3gb of ram an the only problem I got with the tablet is the performance. This thing Is soooooo damn slow even for just web browsing. I probably will upgrade to the A9 i love the size but I just want to have a smoother experience. Not looking into game or stuff just smooth overall
