Figured i would comment on your latest vid about this subject. Google seems to take me many different ways. So im gonna ask. Do you think the 200 and 225 head will interchange? Was gonna order a webcam for a 200 but all they have is for a ytm225. With a 10.25:1 piston id like to at least throw a stage 2 cam in since im doing the whole thing.
I’m not sure if they’ll interchange 😅 the cam wasn’t that expensive right thru Yamaha. I use partzilla.com to order stuff. Or go to a dealer. The 200’s definitely aren’t really designed to be hopped up. I haven’t seen any performance mods for them.
@@ToyShopRestorations they make a weisco 10.25:1 for a stock 67mm bore 200, and know the jug from a 225 will interchange but case needs bored. But i never been inside a motor of a quad before figured maybe different pushrods or something in a different way. Possible lack of oiling idk
@@codyedgington6852 ya not really sure. There’s no push rods. And you’d have to know how it’s gets oil to the top. Maybe someone on here will chime in with an answer!
Well done! 👏👏👏
Awesome, I’ve been waiting for this video for a while!
What book/website did you use for the engine diagram
www.partzilla.com I use it for pretty much everything!
Is there No gasket for the middle drive gear?
No I had to use gasket sealer. 🤷🏻♂️
👌

Hey brother, what’s the chances you can offer some help with finding parts for restore for my 225? I can send email. Thanks man!
There’s no secrets or anything. I use partzilla.com for my OEM parts and eBay or my local power sports store for aftermarket parts. Hope this helps!
