A colleague took me to work in this car last week because I had fix the oil seal in my honda. I was excited from start to finish! He told me this BMW truly has no issues so long as you play your part. One corolla wanted to drag road, all I saw was him moving to manual mode. I no see corolla again 😂😂😂

I've had my BMW e90 318i for 8yrs now and no regrets. It's my daily driver and such a work horse. Rivals your Civics on fuel (I've had a civic don't argue with me).
Had our downtimes but overall very reliable and loyal to me. Only got grounded twice, one was steering lock, and when we couldn't figure what was the issue at first.
I do most of my repairs now unless I don't have the specific tool for the job or I'm feeling lazy.

😅😅my beloved bmw. I had the 328i for about 3 years. The 2002 koja model. I pumped it up. It was beauty. Blacked out wheels and grill. Some hiccups here and there but the movement on the road gave me joy honestly. I wish I had access to more original parts when I still had it. I'll be getting the 2012 in the near future when there's enough money to play around.
ANY bmw WITH THE M54 ENGINE WILL BE THE MOST RELIABLE. BUT THE E90 IS GREAT TOO. I JUST THINK THE F10 WITH STRAIGHT 6 ENGINE IS THE BEST BUY BEFORE 2021 THERE ABOUT

Great review however, I'm surprised you didn't say something about the front suspension one of the pain points due to our horrible roads. To enjoy the BMW and drive it like it should, you'd have to ensure the front suspension remains in top form and well maintained.

BMW, a joy to drive, excellent handling, the braking is spot on. But a nightmare to work on when broken, I'm almost certain the engineers there at bmw design these cars not to be repairable. Only buy a bmw if you're fine with driving with the "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" on most of the time, or if you're cool with spending sleepless nights wondering when the next problem is going to show up.

BMW is a car you love to drive but hate when you own it especially in a country like Nigeria where there are very few technicians who truly knows about the car.
I still prefer the smaller old BMW used for drifting by S.A guys in Jo'burg as they are less complicated and more rugged.
The E30? parts are scarce on those things which is a major hassle for maintenance.
How I wished Ghana port duty is same as Nigeria’s port duty.Ghana used BMW e90 around 90k cedis and foreign used around 120k cedis that’s around 12 million Naira
An average car user in Nigeria has a below-par maintenance culture which is why you might encounter a lot of issues when buying Nigerian used cars. Also, people like that cannot own cars that require attention to details and fixing every error (not clearing and ignoring it)
Nigerians are terrible with maintenance culture. It's a menace.
This car is not good, that car is wack. All these shouts are born out of maintenance ineptitude. I don't know if Nigerians wants something that will self maintain and use locally sourced materials to fix. But the car itself is foreign made

German cars are generally different from Japanese when it comes to performance. Even a Jetta mk5 is beast in Sport mode. German cars sport mode is different from sport modes in Camry or Lexus

They are the same actually but the one difference is the engine power. 330i is slightly powerful and the 330i also has an aluminum valve seal not plastic like the 328i

No, this particular BMW In the video has had the water pump working for 1 year and 8 months now. It was another car i amde the 7 months reference to. Original water pump you are guranteed 2 years minimum

How much am I going to buy the water pump for am "Benz w202 E350" I don't want to get cheated that's why am asking this question here.
I prefer the Benz because it is more durable..in extreme hot temperatures( in northwest or northeast) the BMW will give you serious problems.

Just buy the oem part from rock auto or fcp euro from the US and you are good to go for the next 7 years or 100k km.
If I buy a bmw, I will be prepared to change the car every one and half years. BMW are made of so much plastic and plastic is not designed to last long.

335i is a very torublesome engine that breaks everytime. It is only a few people that can have a reliable N54 engine and that is after spending a lot of money on modified parts
@@234drive That's the thing though. I don't really plan on keeping it purely stock. So would you say I stick with that or suggest I get a 328i and do a few mods on that instead. Just a few mods, nothing crazy.
