Great video man, you're right about these cars! Im shopping for an E91 soon myself after owning a bunch of E46's and an E39. Gonna be nice to have something a little more modern for once.
Great car! I think this car will appreciate over time. It's the last of its kind. And its power to weight ratio is very similar to the E36 (which I miss). Although the E90 is slightly heavier, it's way more stiffer than the E36. I have a white m-sport as well but automatic, looking to manual swap it. If anyone is looking to do any track days with this, I would turn off the power limiter due to brake temp. It was pulling power after some 15-20 minutes of heavy load. Apparently, this car doesn't have actual brake temp sensors, but performs calculations to predict what your brake temps would be based on the current driving conditions. So after finding that out, I deleted it. This car has so many operations based on the braking system, like the e-lsd diff. And also, it has a brake drying system in wet conditions. It will lightly and periodically apply small braking force to dry the rotors when it's raining. There is a surprising amount of engineering and technology systems built into this car.
Bro you just explained ALOT!! I wondered why my brakes squeak a little in the rain when im going slow(like drivethrus/parking lots) I thought I needed a brake change. But after hearing this im going to take a look at he brakes and if they are still biting then im gonna keep riding. But like everyone on this video is saying this is a great for anyone getting into BMWs. This was my first and definately wont be my last!

M tec? U mean msport and o dls f know they had it for the 328 very nice
🤫🤐 I just love my E90. 2008 Titan Silver Metallic with black interior and it's in really good shape. It's not a Toyota but I consider it the "secret supra" so to speak.
Yes I'm about to buy one . E90 with only 46k miles. But where did you get the headlights ?
They are stock base model halogen lights
What rims and rear bumper?
Inhabe a 2”11 335 xdrive msport and I love it still
Just bought a 128i because of how maintenance heavy the n54 can be. N52/51 are very stout motors
How do you get such high mileage? I'm running 93 octane and barely get 18.9-19 in city and 23 in highway.
Car is sweet, only thing I personally don't like is, the cup holders lol
My car beeps at 75 and I can’t figure out how to make it stop it’s an 08 E00 328i anyone know a fix I don’t have idrive
Yah we know we know it's got the saddle brown interior , nice car 👍
What year is that?
I have a 2009 328i 75 on dash manual
Need some decent rims that will set it right off. Other wise decent looking E90.
Dang I remember I had an E90 328i (2011) back in highschool, back in 2014. I recommend this for someone who wants something reliable, fun and cheap and want bitches.
I have F80 M3 and E92 M3 ZCP, never going back to regular series though.
real shit
Family got bread bread
Love e90s.
What is an Alibaba mod?
Is most of your driving highway? I have the same exact set up in my e90 and average 17 MPG but mostly city driving.
I have an 06 6mt 330i with headers, tube, BC coilovers, and I absolutely love it. The downside is that I get about 15mpg, and it has developed a rough idle :( , I wish I could get 25-30mpg.
@@nnwumeh1 basically same with mine, only difference is 328I. Its always had a slightly rough idle I've never been able to figure out. Probably going to do all new vacuum lines, ccv, and intake gaskets to hopefully fix it. I've never thrown a CEL though so it makes it hard to diagnose.
@@joatmon7621 Mine's definitely a vacuum leak..it threw a code for it. I should do the same replacements you mentioned.
my trunk wiring failed too, i also drive a 2010 328i if you have any tips on how to fix it that would be great.
Sorry that happened man. You able to get into the trunk?
If not. My car has the non folding rear seats. So I unbolted the rear seat and wiggled my way into the trunk to open the trunk from the inside. Mine had one ground wire that failed. So I just took a peice of automotive wire and crimped the 2 ends so the ground wire to it
thank you, and yes i am able to get into the truck i appreciate it
trunk*^
i have the same car and mine is giving me 12mpg why is that???
Are there N52’s that should be avoided?
They are all more or less the same besides intake and exist bits reliability wise good to go
Just got my hands on a 325xi 6 speed.
I too have a 2010 but mine has about it at 133,000 mi on it car my interior is gray I'm thinking about switching up the color maybe a little bit my look now outside vehicle is space gray My wheels are also space gray color them
Change transmission and differential fluid every 40k miles (60K kms) and you will have transmission shifting like a dream for the whole life of the car. otherwise you will have to rebuild transmission some time after 100k miles.
I have a silver 2007 328i that I got for 5k with 100k miles. RWD but it has both manual and automatic. I love this car so much. I daily her as a college student.
It’s automatic, just cause it has manual mode it’s still auto
When your right, your right! 😅👍
Right?
Crazy picked one up with 81k miles well maintained and potential problems like tensioner r and other things replaced and despite the horror stories this car is amazing 😂😂 if u take care of the car it takes care of u as they say 😂😂 ppl treat these like Hondas they wonder why they got problems 💀
N52, manual, hydraulic steering. I regret selling my 2008 E90 328i manual.
where did you get the suspension kit?
Rock auto
Rock auto for coilovers, fcpeuro for the arms but rock auto Carry’s them too now
Im confused, why prefer 328i to the 330i?
Purely due to the fact that you can get 328i in lci years in usa
@@MrSaamman oh, we got the 330i all years in the uk
what wheels are those?
Style 193m
If you ever want to sell. Let me know!
My 2008 328i is my baby
