For bmw say the e90 series. But the e46 series are dope. Very solid and runs great till date. Cheap to maintain and has very sound performance across board. Still sells for 2.5 million a neat 2002 model. And can serve you more than a Corolla can. Even with cheaper engine going for 260,000 V6

A friend of mine once bought a very neat car not a usual or regular type of brand I can't it remember the name, the only and the last time he drove it was from the vendor to his house, the price of the car was too cheap to be true b4 I could say jack it developed gear box problem, engine problem,in his effort to make sure he repair the car he was spending close to the amount he bought the car when he went back to the vendor to sell the car he offered him peanut my guy wept, the car was parked for years and was later disposed as scrab very horrible experience 😭😭😭😭

BMW is a car to own, you just have to be maintenance conscious. I have driven a BMW for 7yrs with no major issues. Just be smart to know the model years to buy. It's quite unfortunate for Nigerians not to have much BMWs around
I always tell my friends, if u drive one in town car, know that u ll need a one in town mechanic and part!!! Additionally avoid those cars he listed above especially Murano 😊😊
Agree with you, Mikelo. Beemers are actually quite reliable if you know your way around them. Drove a 535i myself for 12 years. Travelled routinely with it between Lagos and Enugu. That said, if you don't know your way around them, or use incompetent mechanics, you've had it...
The Range Rover's air suspensions can't withstand the Nigeria roads tho they are kind of adaptive on an all terrain still but can never be compared to land cruisers, Hiluxes and probably Jeep Wranglers.
They may have poor resale value but those that will buy them still would. Range Rovers, despite their years of unreliability still sell like hot kpofkpof from their factories.

Depending on the model, the w203 is mar with electrical problem due to partnership with Chrysler. For those years I will pick an E46 (BMW) over the Benz W203. I have used the 2 , I am still using the E46, very reliable and parts are even cheaper than Corolla,mind you I've used the Corolla too ,you keeping spending on shock absorber ,linkages etc . I am just done with Jap sha.
