Good job you doing there bro. These 2 cars Lexus ES 330 & ES 350 are increasingly getting popular, can we get an in-depth review of both and a versus if you please
I love your videos and I am a keen follower and a big Volvo fan, the XC90 is quite a good SUV but Nigerian used is a disaster. Also once you buy a Volvo car in Nigeria you must tropicalise it by installing a high capacity Volvo relay to the cooling fan and also eliminating the fan thermostat.
Removing thermostat from an engine is not a great idea (except you are creating your own engine). You started redesigning with relay of high capacity, you should also look for thermostat with different temperature set point (higher/lower depending on what you hope to achieve). In all, endeavor to know, from OEM design view, the implication of whatever changes has on the engine.
@@amandionuba8344 you have spoken well sir, I am a automobile mechanic but the high capacity thermostat is not available any where in Nigeria and also the thermostat for Volvo cars are designed to work with the brain box, so even a higher capacity one won't work effectively since it's not a factory plan for the car. That's the secret to using new model Volvo cars in tropical Africa (hot temperatures). Meanwhile the high capacity relays are the ones used by Volvo trucks and works perfectly with the cooling fan with two speeds low and high regulated.
