I am in a dessert season in my Life that's caused me to get to know Jesus all over again!! I was a part of a church for 24 years that was hype emotions and no word!! Don't get me wrong i grew and have seen lots more what nots!! I appreciate this word coming alive and causing a deep hunger to know Jesus!! Thanks Again Pastor!

How can you say that ''God the son'' was revealed to John the baptist, when John clearly identified him as the ''son of God'' or as the ''Lamb of God''.
I am given to understand that John the Baptiser already knew of Jesus, by nature of his kinship, being a cousin!
It certainly is reasonable to think that John did know Jesus as man and as a cousin, but apparently not as Messiah.
Here's an interesting passage that points that out.

John 1:29-34 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who [k]is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ 31 I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water.”
32 And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”

Am I expected to believe that that a common bird was actually a divine or supernatural spirit? We're not doves or pigeons not used as sacrificial offering to God. Even by Mary?

If John is trying to convince that a common bird was in reality a supernatural being in disguise then I'm afraid it does not convince.

Descending like a dove doesn't say that it was a dove or that it was a bird at all. It describes the descent itself, not the appearance of the spirit.

Sorry, Jesus isn’t God, nor equal to God. He called our God and Father his God and Father at John 20:17.
