I’m doing John first and then Romans. I do scripture readings every day and I love this in depth look at the scripture that really breaks things down to the simplest terms.
I am learning to press in on Jesus. Thank you for teaching me the scriptures.

What a great sermon by a wonderful pastor. Love the teaching on John's response to the religious leaders, and the legalism that some churches, or perhaps more accurately, "organizations", impose on what it means to be Christian. As for me, I keep my eyes focused on Jesus, who will not tell me about any rules I broke, but ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.'

Thank you for saying it, Pastor Paul! ☺️ Also from RC and “broke free” after 30+ yrs. Our family has decided to celebrate biblical feast days that are so rich in meaning and simple! No fuss, pure heart & soul. Initially it was really the confusing added traditions within RC that made me go hmmm 🤔 Incidentally, the last Catholic thing I did that was last straw for me was when I confessed to a priest Christmas 2019. Our brief interaction made me wonder if he even has oil in him. Im glad that the Ruach (Holy Spirit) was tugging my husband’s heart as well. We left our church with his leading also by the Ruach. Hopefully someday we can find our own special faith community but right now it’s Calvary Chapel Ontario for us. We are always blessed by Pastor Paul and Sue!!! ❤️ Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

.I was 9 yrs old when I realized I don't have to confess to a priest and the idea of purgatory was ridiculous.

I honour and respect the way you addressed the subject of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
I have heard some very negative messages regarding the baptism.
I agree...... the radical pentecostal movements do make a spectacle and over emphasise the spiritual experience.
Your scriptural approach was grounded.
And if more believers sort a daily infilling of the HS power to be witnesses the church would be in a very different place.
I would exlncourage you to listen to Francis Chans testimony about his greater encounter with the HS ministry through his life.
There is soooo much more the Father wants to do in and through us to bring glory to His Son and to reveal His kingdom in our day.

I pray daily for the power of the Holy Armor but is that the same power that descends upon us? Maybe I need to pray for extra power beyond the Holy Armor cause I sure am weak and have a long way to go. Yay humanity :)

I'm grateful for Pastor Paul's video but his ragging on FORMALIZED Religion a bit.
In God's Divine wisdom, Our Lord established religious ceremonies on how He should be worshiped and how man should live. There is even a whole book dedicated to the Jewish Formalized Religion (Leviticus)....
My point here is don't fault God for the folly of man
-it's man who failed to properly use formalized religious worship
-it's man who failed to listen the teachings, warnings, prophecies of God in the Bible
-it's man who failed at the Garden of Eden
and It's God, Our Lord who saves us every time that we fail
