I actually did have jehovah witness at my door, i was humble and polite and respectful, but did ask who did they say Jesus is and they said the son of God. To which i said, the Bible says Jesus is God. They disagreed but i told them the verses you read tonight AND Genesis 1 and the verses where God said…….they couldnt wait to get away quick enough, i was ready, God was with me, they had no comeback. I just hope they go home and read those verses in the privacy and quiet of their own homes and God reveals Himself to them. God bless
Bible does say Jesus is son of God...right. Jesus is God yes but son of God

I don't think we can fully comprehend the trinity. Jesus is God period. He came as the son, but if he always was (which I believe and appears to be said in the Bible) then how can he just be designated the son of God alone ? Like I said, I think it's beyond our comprehension for now until revealed which coincides with Isaiah 55:8-9 as far as I'm concerned.
I grew up in that cult. I'm a born again now and can say how much more The Word makes sense when you believe in a Triune God. I'm so grateful you stood up to their lies.
Wide Awake. Yes, they believe Jesus is really the Angel Michael. To quote their reasoning, "A Son of God." We should pray they come to know the Lord Jesus for Whom the Bible says He is.

I was raised a Jehovahs witness & no longer there- I beg everyone to please pray that when one comes to your door you show them Jesus in you- They have been lied to & the fear of their family & friends cutting them off is real- Jesus teaches us in The Word that this is to be to follow Him- Pray & let The Holy Spirit guide you for them to see the truth💙
Amen 🙏 there are two of them that I walk by almost everyday to work. They have their stand set up to convert people. Any suggestions on how to minister to them?
@@newcreationinchrist1423 nope- The Holy Spirit only will know what to say in that given moment- Their mindset is to convert you & your mindset is the same- Only Father knows where to reach them💪
Happens also in other religions just light dismissal and light rejection.

I have been ripping my door open with excitement saying I hoped they would come by. I have had loving, beautiful chats lead by Holy Spirit with them. They are in my prayers as well.✝️🕊️💜

Why in John 3 16 does it say God sent his son?

The whole of scripture tells us there is one God. If we are honest, we know we are sinful and imperfect. (dead in our sins, separated from God).
The Bible is God’s revelation to us
Philippians two verse seven tells us that Jesus emptied himself and became a man (a servant).
The Bible tells us all the call on the name (power and authority) of the lord, will be saved.
Salvation(Bing accepted by God) is a gift he gives us in the Bible reveals that there is three persons, but one god.
God’s best on our quest for absolute truth
It was god’s plan to come into this universe as a human to ransom himself for those he loved.
Pastor Paul LeBoutillier is one of the best Bible teachers you will find. Not only is he very accurate in his knowledge, but he is kind and humble, unlike many of the other ministers you will find. Also, he teaches in a very understandable way. I highly recommend Calvary Chapel Ontario.

Among others, omnipotent? Who knows the day and hour of the end of this world??? Neither the angles nor the son but ONLY The father!! No Jesus is all knowing.
@@randallwittman2720no becuz when jesus was on earth he has self emptied himself due to being human and being with limitations thats why in gospel of matthew its said no one knew the coming except the father since jesus came on earth as only human but when he rose from dead and ascended to the heaven and gaining his divine nature since he is god who became flesh and lived with mankind and even in revelation 1:8 its said jesus is the almighty god

Pulling out my lexicon i found the explanation and was so intrigued i had to find out more.

I'm Penticostal by denomination. Not one renowned for deep scriptural study. I'm blessed to have a great teacher as a pastor.
In saying that though, the deconstruction of the text to suck out the marow (which is where the goodness lays) is in short supply.
Your study of the first 5 verses has not only captured me. It has drawn me 'into the Light' in a new and deeply satisfying way.
In other words....in to worship.

The Strong's Concordance takes the Bible back to the original Hebrew Aramaic and Greek to find out every word in the Bible and its original meaning. This is why I like to study with the Holy Spirit everyone has their own interpretation.

Something to think about: God is all powerful. He created us in His image. We have a body, a mind, and a spirit. We are a trinity, just as He is; but, we are not all powerful. Not a difficult concept to understand at all.
Darkness does not comprehend (understand, recognize,identify) the Light and never will.

One other comment (but certainly not a criticism).
When referencing the trinity, you mentioned the Holy Spirit almost in passing.
God is indivisible Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
All present and active in creation.
And also present and active today.
Please ensure you you don't reduce the Holy Spirit to just a force.
The Holy Spirits (God's abiding presence here on earth) is still THE LIGHT.

NIV is a terrible translation of the Bible based on all the omitted verses. Don’t just talk about the JW Bible and not bring up how bad the NIV is as well lol.
I challenge you to show me ONE SINGLE CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE that is either missing or changed by the NIV translation. I've taught through the Bible going on 4 times now and DAILY I compare all the current modern translations and I can tell you that although there are minor wording changes, NOTHING IS MISSING from the NIV. You have unfortunately believed misinformation.
Genesis 1:0 would read Before the beginning of time WAS GOD. God lives outside of time. God gave us about 7,000 years total in the earth, before He rolls the heavens and earth up like a scroll. God's Word is fascinating when you study the entire inspired Word. Greatest love story ever told.
Genesis and John start the same way: In the beginning…
pretty good ! but its not True that this book doesnt reflect the old testament of the Jews .. look only to the beginning.. in the beginning .. same opening text as Genesis.. he talking about the jews did this and that when Jesus was a jew himself . i smell a little bit of replacement theology.. the rest i like .. thank you
