- In July 2018 The Angels performed a special orchestral concert alongside the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and backed by a choral ensemble.
As a forerunner to repeat performances of this show in Sydney & Melbourne in April 2019 we've got special access to exclusive footage from that Sold Out show in Adelaide.
In week 3 of 10 you can remember the manic madness that is "Mr Damage" from the 1979 album "No Exit".
I absolutely love this version. Dave is an awesome front man.

I'm a Doc tragic. To the point of refusing to go see the Angels, cos it just wasn't right. I've seen them, now, twice this year, with Dave and I'm really starting to come around. I love Dave's energy and that he's started to just sing, now rather than try to scream. Can't wait to see Symphony of Angels in November!

Yes just watched it again. Have to say it's just disrespectful. I think the Brewster bros are great artist and I thank them everyday for one of the greatest bands Australia has ever produced. But let's be honest the front man is 90% of the show. So basically we got 10% of the Angels in this show and no acknowledgement of the missing 90%. Not a single reference to Doc ? I understand the Brewsters issues with Doc, but there issues were not the fans issues and we all loved Doc and the angels are Doc, sorry.

I have to say, I'm not really sure what to make of this. Different definitely, but is it good??? Not sure. Look, I am a Doc tragic but still love the band with Dave up front, that has no part in my view. Just not sure if The Angels should be orchestrated or not.
Dave totally nail all the angels songs it’s so good to see these songs
The Angels blokes are pushing 70 and it's good to see them still rockin', but Gleeson is the odd ball in the bag.
I think it's time he goes back to The Screaming Jets and be the fool that he is known for, where players wear their hats backwards.

Was good up until the second verse.. where Dave fucked up the lyrics then (for me) it went pear shaped after that.
