- Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride through in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The 2nd ride in the video is "Earthquake the Ride" and it's located several miles down the ride in the city of Gatlinburg Tennessee.
Admission to Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride is $15. Earthquake the Ride costs $11 to ride. Would you guys go on it? What do you like tourist trap attraction do you like the most? Leave it in the comment below.
Gatlinburg and Pigeon are a tourist trap destinations in Tennessee.
Video filmed August 2019
This is an extremely slow moving ride at nearly 11 minutes, so I had to cut to the chase by showing all the animatronics that are in the ride. If not, it will become boring and many viewers will just skip the video. As of the Earthquake ride at the end of the video, it was a full ride through with no jump cuts.
Could you imagine how scary it would be if the ride broke down and the lights cut off and having to find your way out?
We dont talk about dat lol
Then you feel something cold wet and scaly grab your ankle from the water
Animatronics and sound still on
@@ladyboombox1428 if that happened I would just lay and cry
A Rat honestly same
the jurassic ride instills this unbelievably deep sense of dread in me and i DON'T know why
all those huge animatronics in the dark and the long stretches of darkness and just. everything is an absolute nightmare, omg.
Ikr it was scary I went on it when I was 8 lol
I think the absolutely clapped quality of these things adds to it a lot.
They fixed it this year
it's the lack of music, the ugly animatronics that look deranged and like something out of a nightmare, the lack of context....the dark, creepy water, the sound effects. it's brilliant.
@@peppermint23 2:03 Why is the Pterodactyl carrying a little Boy?
Honestly, taken in context its pretty impressive for what it is. No big budget behind it, just something someone put together. It's definitely cheese ball for the most part but there are some decent effects thrown in there. I think it'd be much better with music, which would set the mood and drown out a little of the compressed air sounds.
There used to be music but it must've been removed
What music would you put? Bon Jovi songs? Smooth jazz? I don't think that would make this much better, gonna be honest.
Compressed Air : The Ride
Just wait until the sequel! Bumm bumm baammmm
😂
TSSS TSSS TSSS
This comment woke me up with a smile XD
Lol beat me to it! Both rides are just full of PSSSST PSSSSSSSSSSSSST.
Please always post weird and terrifying roadside attractions. Somehow seeing them with your beautiful high quality camera makes them 1000% more enjoyable.
you’re BOLD BOLD for going on this alone
There was a shadow of two people in one part, so I don't think he did😅
You get on that ride and come back out In 1992
Dude....The dinosaur ride is entirely too creepy....The whole time I’d be going “🤞😩...please don’t get stuck, please don’t get stuck, please god, please don’t do it to me” 😂😂😂
Thank the lord that I never went to that ride.
the worst part is its MEANT to be scary because dinosaurs... but its scary because its so goddamn creepy. everything looks possessed
Exactly! CREEPY!
Yes... we need all the emojis.... thank you
Bro AND HOW CLOSE THE GOD DAMN ANIMATRONICS GET? NU UHH
I remember my family and I took a trip to Tennesse and then on the way back my sister wanted to ride this ride. My two other sisters were smart enough to stay in the car with our mom. It was my dad, my sister, and me on the ride and I remember at the end the boat lifted up front and a massive T-Rex head came out over the boat and almost gave my 7-year-old self a heart attack. Thank god for my dad being there and allowing me to burrow my head into his armpit while he explained how "pretty" the dinosaurs were over the terrifying screams of the dinosaurs.
Me: Mom, I wanna ride the Universal Jurassic Park boat ride!
Mom: No, we have the Universal Jurassic Park boat ride at home
Jurassic Park boat ride at home:
@Adrock 99 Check out 0:10 seconds into the video, that mannequin scratching his knee just adds insult to injury
Robert Bosch wtf that arm XD
Ngl, I’d love to have a ride like this at home.
@@lukethelegend9705 It's better than nothing, I have to admit
Yeah that’s about right I live near the place where they have that and that is what it is
Its like the poor man's Universal Studios...in Tennessee.
It is but, not everyone can afford Universal. Have you seen the people that visit Pigeon Forge? lol
It is...LITTERALY. And Ripley's was and still is huge to the area of Pigeon Forge.
Well it is scarier than Jurassic Park. Never know if your going to be killed by a dinosaur falling over!
Kind of reminds me of the Ellen ride at EPCOT. It'd be hilarious seeing a Dolly Parton animatronic in this. 🤣
DaRatier idk this looks better than jurrasic world the ride
I can't tell you how many times i have seen a gorilla in a cage on the Subway.
Take the A train.
What?Where?
Are you talking about the Earthquake ride?
@@melmel5229 Yes, i was just commenting of absurdity of a Gorilla in the Subway.
😂😂😂
Anyone else notice the dislocated arm on the explorer mannequin at 0:06 ?
Yup lol
Made me laugh harder then it should have.
His arm is just long, stop bullying him
Na that's just Mr. Fantastic, times are tough right now..but, ya know, got to do what ya go to do.
Hahaha, not until you pointed it out. They can't take a few minutes and put that back together?
The Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride has more audio-animatronics than Universal's Jurassic World ride!
Yup, I was thinking this is still better than what Universal has.
@@roseNthorn you guys must be smoking something, or you guys are a bunch of boomers. But HOW are those animatronics better than universal's? Quality over quantity (Jurassic park over jurassic jungle boat ride)
EV7D THANK YOU!!! Universal might not have as many animatronics in Jurassic World, but they’ve got the money to make them look bigger, smoother, and better looking than these cheap looking knock offs
@@ev7d167 Plus half of them aren't even animatronics.
I'd take a ride with only a few animatronics that actually work and a cohesive narrative... and you know, an entire theme park with other rides to enjoy , than a stand alone ride that's an incoherent mess where literally everything is broken and they have to use mannequins to give the illusion anyone would actually want to visit the thing.
Anyone else concerned the minute those doors opened and realizes how slow the lights were to come on? Also, why were there a pair of human eyes on the side wall in that one part? 😂 this is like if someone rode Jurassic Park and Dinosaur one time each and then tried to combine them into a terrible ride.
7:32
"Eeeeuuuugh, there's rats on the wall!"
"HOW!?!"
That’s part of the ride smh
This be scary... The sounds are super creepy and it sounds really loud.
I kid you not, it’s horrifying in person.
Scary for the wrong reasons.
I’ve been on this boat ride like 3-4 and it’s still terrifying every time !! I literally was crouched hiding under my family’s feet in the boat lol.
The EXIT signs, visible rods and cables, and plastic camo netting make it seem so REAL!
tackyman2011 it’s a road side attraction what do you expect? Lol
The view of the ceiling set it all off just right!
pretty impressive for the low budget they had though
Pretty sure I had a fever dream like this
Shelly Caballero I KNOW RIGHT WTH 🤨
WAIT YOU JUST UNLOCKED SOMETHING WAIT
Same
Same I was searching it up and this was closest to what I experienced, like a fever dream when I was a kid
This feels like the kind of thing a young family with one or two small kids would check out because it looks fun and the kids like dinosaurs, only for it to be the most terrifying goddamn thing any of them have ever experienced and making the kids afraid of dark rides for years afterwards.
I can't imagine being an employee and seeing how many rides end with bawling children and furious parents.
The T-Rexes at 3:45 look like they're having a good laugh lmao
Raigeki meme able
Hahaha this is actually horrifying
A good laugh at the people who go in alone
I like how they tried to fit King Kong and Earthquake in the same ride lol
Greg it’s like a total rip off the Universal Studios backlot tour ride!
"I want to get off Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride 1"
Wait, there’s a sequel?
I wish i could play RCT3 again. Good times
1:37
That is actually really terrifying. Eyes in darkness is probably the thing I fear the most
the fact that they look like human eyes makes it so so much worse
Oh my god I remember the Jurassic ride from when I was a kid like 8+ years ago and it has not changed one bit. Im really surprised it’s still open. A lot of the animatronics havent been maintained. Like the raptor above you was supposed to “jump down” or “peer down” at you and it just looked broken and stuck. Also the T Rex at the ends mouth was beyond broken and the sounds were all out of sorts. It’s kinda sad I was so impressed w it as a kid.
i KNOW you did not get on that alone oh my GOD
This actually looks great, I love cheesy fun dark rides.
my mind went from “oh wow theres actually animatronics” to “oh my god the compressed air my ears” to “if the ride sounds like this... is it safe?”
Imperial Guard yes, just means that there are probably some broken valves/there are leaks :) hopefully the ride vehicle would be fine.
The animatronics tend to be poorly maintained but the ride itself is safe. Its a floating boat in like 3 foot of water.
@@snickermints9040 that is not true, pneumatics are very loud
The trex at 4:50 is straight out of a nightmare
If Universal Studios was on a budget....
no if Disney was on a budget. Because they have breathtaking animatronics like in Pandora the World Of Avatar in Animal Kingdom or in the new Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Shanghai for Jack Sparrow.
lego stop-motion and tutorial productions thing is though these are universal rides not Disney dude.
They are, they just have a bigger one than the people who made this, with the same goal to spend little and make more.
Can we talk about the sound the pterodactyl makes at 3:23 that is terrifying
Oddly enough, ride videos don’t usually trigger my Automatonophobia...but, boy, that Dinosaur ride sure did!! 😂
Rode this 10 years ago, still looks the same. Lol
Really? They used to have a "time tunnel" at the beginning.
Is it just me or did a lot of the animatronics look broken?
Yes this attraction is hardly ever had any maintenance
Yes sadly its hard to keep up with every animatronic
They were when this video came out but over the summer they all got fixed and they get checked more often
3:50 when you and your friends have juicy gossip.
I went there when I was like 10 I think. Anyways I remember parts of it the ride was really broken/laggy it kept on moving then shutting down and I remembered how the time it was the scariest part there and then it paused there with the t-rex staring into my soul It was absolutely terrifying ;-;
To the people saying the dino ride is low budget, its absolutely not. Yes its not in the best shape but some of the dinosaurs in it are actually from the jp ride. The stego and velociraptors most definitely are. Not sure if they were extras or used on the jp ride. Someone spent a ton of money on this to bring it to life, definitely a passion project it seems. Obviously its not up to par with jp ride which has a ton of money to spare but take it for what it is, a high production value ride which just needs
maintenance and some audio revamp.
I love rides like this, they may not be amazing but, still fun, even if cheesy
imagine falling into the water with one of the animatronics though, flailing around as you rub against it
no thanks ❤
This thing scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. Right up there with ExtraTerrorestrial as far as traumatic childhood vacation memories.
So creepy! Even the herbivores look like they’re carnivores! And this is for the dinosaur ride. And the earthquake one is not that good it’s decent but really not that good
I stayed in the hotel next to the Jurassic ride years ago, my aunt and I got curious and decided to ride it one day and my aunt was horrified haha. I fell in love with that ride since then and always check to see if anything new is added.
I had a flood of memories hitting me with this because I rode it once and remember begging my dad to let me ride it when I was like 10 😂
Insta regret?
3:17 Godzilla?? Are you hiding back there somewhere? 7:32 "there's rats on the wall.. Hoowwww??" Lmao
Wtf...even when those first doors opened I was like “....nopeeeee” and during the ride that feeling just got WORSE this is such a creepy ride wtffff. Feels like you’re going in there alone yikes 😰
Sounds like a Mental Breakdown™
The dinosaur ride traumatized me and my younger sister as a child. A lot of the time it’s pitch black and the lights stay off until an animatronic is right next to you, and then suddenly the animatronic is illuminated. Just the animatronic :))))) Just watching this gave me flashbacks lol
Me:I wanna ride Jurassic park!
Mom:Honey but we already have Jurassic Park at home!
Me:...
I thought the Jurassic ride was kind of adorable. I mean, it's super budget and outdated, but adorable.
I have passed by the ride one time when i was going to dollywood last year.
Me too, but I actually went with my parents to do this meeting for Wyndham rewards, and they gave the four of us (my older brother went with us) tickets for a large indoor/outdoor water park (it was in November so the outdoor part was closed, also the water park was at a Wyndham resort)
@@guyincognito3530 when i went i came out from florida. The only coaster i was not able to ride was lighting rod. It was shut down for some major problems with it. Wild eagle was my my favorite coaster when i went . I rode it 3 times when i went .
Same!!
@@llolamitchell i here this ride had some negtive reviews online .
Thanks for riding that and showing how campy this ride is. Can’t believe it’s still open
3:19 is a mix of pokemon sounds and lazers
Gooseofpeach. png this part GENUINELY terrified me why is it so LARGE
I heard a story in another video’s comments about a 6 year old who’s restraints came off on the earthquake ride. So while everyone else was enjoying the motion simulators and animatronics and stuff, this kid was holding on to his seat for dear life facing the very real risk of falling off and into all those dangerous mechanisms.
Woahhhhh I went on this when I was about 8, this just dislodged a memory from wayyyy in the back of my head
99 cent store version of jurassic park the ride..and family dollar version or Earthquake and kongfrontation combined. It's like someone went to Universal Studios and said " I could do this "🤣🤣🤣
You know its gonna be good the second you see the one figure at the front with his arm hanging to the ground .....lol
I've lived in Tennessee since I was a kid and always wondered how that boat ride went.
I would have a damn heart attack on this thing. It’s like every nightmare I’ve ever had about animatronics come to life.
The mannequin missing his arm at the beginning, I knew this was going to be a good video
Just went on the Jurassic World ride last night. It’s definitely a once in your lifetime ride. Great for memories and laughs.
I dont know a single local that has gone to this thing like i swear its just meant to trick tourists into trying it. I have no clue how its been open for so long. I love it though, iconic
Last November we went on the dinosaur boat ride. As grand parents we enjoyed it.
Happy Halloween Socal Attractions 360!

3:54 When yur telling yur homie about this cute girl u just met
I have passed by this so many times wondering if i should do it. now im really glad i never did lol thank you for enduring this
Station control! Station control! We have a train on our track that’s coming right at us!
OH GOD, I REMEMBER THIS. I HAD NO IDEA HOW I FELT. LOOOOL
I remember braiding this as a kid! I recommend you try it! It’s short but at the same time very interesting
*riding
I've been here multiple times before. I loved and hated this ride as a child, it was very scary to me. It looks a bit different from the last time I had been on it.
4:05 around this part of the ride, the small hallway there that the boat goes through, there used to be gigantic hairy tarantula animatronics crawling across the walls and sum would jump out at you, so closely if you put your arm out a little, you could touch them. I hated that part. There were also flashing red lights and the audio was so loud, it rumbled the boat, it had scared me a lot.
The end of the ride atleast, there was a little hill/dip that the boat went down on and a Tyrannosaur head would pop out and roar as you went down it like the old universal studio one.
This is literally 45 minutes from where I live and I’ve never been.
Looks like you haven't missed much!
Please go on more of these! They look hilarious.
As a kid this ride gave me nightmares alot 😅
It's decided. I'm grabbing my phone and calling Steven Spielberg about this ride, because, IP infringement.😊
2:27
Little Dinosaur: I hate this job, they don't even fix us 97% of the time
Triceratops: Yeah, just look at what happened to that Raptor near the beginning.
Little Dinosaur: Wasn't he supposed to look down at the riders or something?
Triceratops: Yup, but he's long broken now.
I believe the terrifying experience is why this ride is so popular. I used to go to pigeon forge when I was younger. Half the creep factor is the screaming of the Dinos, the dark and weird lighting, and the animatronics janky appearance. Water rides just freak me out in general
This ride freaks me out more now than it would if the effects are good. The jerky animatronics, the feedback from the too-loud speakers of the dinosaur at 3:18. The way you can tell it takes place it a giant warehouse with walls and air vents clearly visible at some parts. This all gives me weird nightmare vibes.
This is awesome. I love all dark rides!
"Der's a trein cresh it on fire"
I’ve been laughing for the last 15 minutes because of your comment.
The video cover looks like some rollercoaster games. 😂
Nice to see they haven't done a thing to those in 20 years. Loving the videos!
Actually, Earthquake got major upgrades.
3:20 imagine that on ur corner of ur ceiling
Wow - the Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride is horrifying! It would be way worse if there were monsters coming out of the water too! 😬
I went on the Earthquake ride last year and it was exactly as exciting as it looks
oh my god this is crazy, i come on here to see wild rides from disney and other countries ill never see or ride and today i just scrolled and saw my childhood nightmare. Ive gone to gatlinburg and pigeon forge timeless fall breaks and every single time we are so psyched to drive past this and see if the t-rex is poking out. When i was younger and were driving past an I saw it pop out I cried. I have never been on this ride or seen it up close despite having extremely vivid memories of it this is just. Crazy
oh, watching this made it much worse. what even WAS GOING ON AT 3:20 TBE SOUNDS ARE SO HAUNTING
My entire family went on this. As a young boy I was scared and had to sit next to my grandparents. Then as a teen that spent his time on his games I wasn't impressed
Did you guys noticed the giant spiders hey also I have so much nostalgia for this one ride because I remember going on it when I was like six years old and I remember making my parents go twice because I was and still am a huge dinosaur nerd and I literally thought that the animatronics were real and I loved it so I love this video
This is good because I love dinosaurs and I love dark rides
I'm actually impressed
Still better animatronics than the one at Universal Orlando 😂😂😂
As someone with a fear of animatronics, I found this legitimately unsettling. My heart was racing almost the whole time 0_0
Love Corny Rides like this. I should've ridden this while I was there! I would've loved it!
Haha wtf are those eyes?? It literally looked like this!!! 👁 👁
Man, the Jurassic ride had sooo much potential. If their animatronics were up to par with or even half as good as Universal’s, this would be the faaaar superior ride
When I was little I was so scared of this ride.
Why does this look exactly like how Universal’s Jurassic Park ride looks in my nightmares
Everything seemed old and rickety....🤔🤔🤔
That was amazing!!! And now i know it’s located next to earthquake and near Dollywood one of my Bucket list park now I really want too go.
"Again again!"
Said no one.
Those have to be the worst rides I have ever seen in my life
