Growing up I never got the chance to go visit anywhere outside my little town. When I got older I decided to take off and go visit my friends in Tennessee. When I first got to the Smokey mountains I had the strangest feeling I was home. I had never seen mountains in real life until I was 20 yrs old. But when I got there the first time I said to myself this is Home. Sadly as the years went by I never got the chance to move up there and doubt I ever will. But will always consider Tennessee my home away from home.
I am from Knoxville and have been to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge numerous times over my life. This video is spot on showing all the attractions and conveying the family friendly, laid back attitude and culture here. Great video!

Don't forget Parrot Mountain while in Pigeon Forge. It is one of the most peaceful, uplifting, and beautiful places I have ever experienced. Truly a joy from start to finish. It is a self paced walk thru park filled with birds from all over the world. I don't care how young or old you are, you will enjoy this magnificent park near Dollywood. I am not affiliated with them at all, but I am moved to tears every time I visit this wonderful park.

Mix it up and experience the country...when this covid-19 restrictions return our lives back to us. me and my family love to go to here every year! this place is truly magical with stuff to do for the whole family! me and my best friend went with my mom and dad earlier this year and there was just amazing things to do! we went to the aquarium one day and it is so beautiful! then one night me and her stayed in the cabin (which had its own arcade system, fireplaces in every room, a hot tub, and a basketball hoop!) while my parents went out to eat. it was so great and i can't wait to go back later this year!
Amazing things to do and such beautiful scenery. I never knew all this was tucked away in the Smokey Mountains. All I've ever heard about Tennessee was Dollywood, Nashville, and the crime in Memphis. Thank You for this!
Just came back yesterday from pigeon Forge Tennessee and thank you so much for this video we did the pirate show Hatfields and McCoy Dollywood all excellent shows.
The most excellent video of the area I have seen on RUclips. We have been going there for 35 years and haven't seen most of what you show here. Goodness.
I drove to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for my vacation a couple weeks ago. I stayed 3 days and let me tell you, I never had such a peaceful and refreshing time in my life. I didn't want to leave, lol. Everyone was very friendly and nice. The mountains and mountainviews were sooooo beautiful! I went horseback riding in the smokies and saw 2 bears, I went to Anakeesta on the gondola and rode on the mountain coaster, ober Gatlinburg on the aerial tramway. I also went to the wax museum that was a trip, lol just to see all my favorite celebrities in statue form and a lot of them looked life like! I plan on going back next year and bring my mom and family!!!
I just recently went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and my family and I visited Anakeesta, we loved it so much we bought annual passes that last a whole year, I recommend buying them if you plan on going multiple times, it cost nearly 100 dollars to get up there for my family of 4 and the annual passes for us costed around 150 in total so in the long run it will save you more, plus you get 20% off everything, food, ziplines, and the rail runner. Also if you plan on ziplining it’s best if you call and schedule in advance so you have more of a guarantee on ziplining, although you can schedule when you get there, they book up quickly so you most like won’t get a chance to zipline. (BTW the guides were so funny during our experience and kept cracking jokes!)

Yep I think you would love it, especially being in LA.
This is great! There's so much to do here. I want to try this place. It looks perfect for a month's visit. Thanks for this :)
DO NOT DO IT. A month? Are you crazy?
Good for 2 adults that don't do any of the adventure park stuff?
My favorite place on earth! Thanx for sharing!
Hi how are you doing today
Makes me miss home so glad they're getting rebuilt
Really great video and representation of the area! Heading that way in a couple weeks...can’t wait!!
Hope you enjoy it!
Been here last summer
Great place!
Really well put together video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yup once my son graduates high school in a few years I’m moving here!!

@@christinahitson4837 lmao
My boyfriend and I were just there for fourth of July weekend 😍 We had the best time. Can’t wait to go back/hopefully move there someday! It’s in the works
me and my family love to go to here every year! this place is truly magical with stuff to do for the whole family! me and my best friend went with my mom and dad earlier this year and there was just amazing things to do! we went to the aquarium one day and it is so beautiful! then one night me and her stayed in the cabin (which had its own arcade system, fireplaces in every room, a hot tub, and a basketball hoop!) while my parents went out to eat. it was so great and i can't wait to go back later this year!
Yep I agree, glad you had a great time.
That sounds absolutely amazing!🤩
I just visited both places a few weeks ago. Magical!!!!!! I can't wait to go back again!
Amazing things to do and such beautiful scenery. I never knew all this was tucked away in the Smokey Mountains. All I've ever heard about Tennessee was Dollywood, Nashville, and the crime in Memphis. Thank You for this!
Yep this is the better part of TN
Just came back yesterday from pigeon Forge Tennessee and thank you so much for this video we did the pirate show Hatfields and McCoy Dollywood all excellent shows.
Thankyou, good to hear. We just did Branson, very similar to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge.
We loved this area!! I highly recommend taking your family and renting a 10-20 room cabin. We had the best time!!!
The most excellent video of the area I have seen on RUclips. We have been going there for 35 years and haven't seen most of what you show here. Goodness.
Thankyou for the nice words.
Made reservations for 3 days got covid n October couldn't go and couldn't get a refund 800dollars that sucked
Thanks for covering outdoor activities as well!
you are welcome, thanks for the comment
That is real good advice, thankyou for sharing.,
I didn't check out every thing BC there Is so much but I am gonna do more next yr
Thank you for the helping info..
Best informative video I have seen....and I have seen plenty. Thank you!!! Specially for linking everything from the video below.
Thankyou, yep we try to link and put address to make it easier for you to find these places, thanks for the nice words.
