I grew up in East Tennessee and have been to Gatlinburg and the area many, many times. In the past 17 years of living in Ohio I have a new appreciation for the Smokeys. We definitely look forward to going back whenever possible. Great job Randy!
This is one of the best and most informative videos on Gatlinburg and the smokies that I’ve ever seen! Great work! Can’t wait for the rest of the episodes
Another masterpiece Randy, Bella, & Smokey Mountain Family ! Proposed to my wonderful wife on Christmas Eve 1994 in Gatlinburg, still goin strong ! Wonderful light displays during Christmas there !
Great Great Great Video. Loved it. My husband and I use to live there. We Actually enjoyed it better now that we moved away. Thanks For all the Information, Recommendations and Aerial Photography in this and All your videos!!
One of the Dreamcatchers is one of my buddies from school, always can see him with a banjo in hand. Love your videos where I haven’t been there for a long time!
I have been going up to Gatlinburg my whole life. But this has to be one of the best videos I have ever watched! Awesome seeing you with Smoky Mountain family. 😁
We're here in Gatlinburg now, so we'll be going to the Arts and Crafts area tomorrow thanks to you. AND the Crazy Mason is definitely on the agenda as well. Great review!
Great video, This is getting me fired up for my upcoming trip in July. Every time I come to the smokies, I usually like to stay in the gatlinburg area, cause it's easier to acces the strip, and Pigeon forge is literally down the road.
Watching this video is making me super excited to visit again. Been several years since I have been here. Come on Sept. Ohio native but now living in Las Vegas. Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge are an all time favorite visit.
Great video, we started visiting Gaitlenburg 4 yrs ago we stay at the Park Vista we already made our reservations for this yr. Always at Thanksgiving. It’s beautiful there. You gave me some new places to check out. Thanks look forward to your next video.
Just enjoyed the Gatlinburg walk with you Henry. I’m planning a trip in a few weeks that might take us through that area, so there was helpful info there. Also good to know that if I have a kudzu problem, I need to get a cow lol Thanks Henry!!
Randy you need to take a month off after all that. What an amazing time you had in the Smokies. Another incredible video. Well done I say. I'm headed back next summer. So many things i'm going to experience thanks to your video.
Amazing! I really like your videos! and your adorable dog companion! wow! I wish I could travel like this with my dog❤. Thanks for sharing these experiences!🎉
Wow! There is so much to do in Gatlingburg. I went on a country legends tour a few years back. Did the usual Nashville,Memphis, Loretta Lynns etc...all were great! We stayed in Pigeon Forge for 4 days and done lots of the attractions which were wonderful. We were supposed to do a day in Gatlinburg but got rained out so the bus just drove through it. I feel I missed out lol. Oh well now I have an excuse to go back. Great video and information I can definetly use.
I love this place. Last time I went, it was SO hot, you could have cooked an egg on my skin. Definitely go during some more cooler weather if you're like me and have alabaster skin. This place is a great place to visit.
Great video Randy. I was watching the Smokey Mountain Family’s video and I saw an adorable dog 🐩 who looked like Bella.. imagine my surprise when it was little ole you Randy! It’s even better that I knew Bella first! She’s precious and very memorable! ❤ 🐩 🐾
@@TampaAerialMedia I was game to try River Rats until an old video of theirs where Eric showed an enormous 🕷️ spider! I’m out! I will simply enjoy your videos away from spiders lurking near water. (Ain’t nobody got time for heart failure in an inter tube floating down the river). 🃏
Beautiful job on this video! Looks very professional. And lots of great ideas. I’ll be there in about a week and a half. Thanks for all the great tips!…Especially the tips on parking. Great addition!
Man you really need to try the corn dog at Fannie Farkle. It not like any corn dog you ever tasted before. Its a secret recipe and its awesome. One corn dog is also enough for two people to eat if your not super hungry. Then the best breakfast in all of Tennessee is hands down is the Crockett's Breakfast Camp The long wait is well worth it. There pancakes are to die for. The best pancake on earth hands down. There post master breakfast combo is served in a iron skillet. Its the best breakfast you will ever have even if you skip the pancakes. Then there cinnamon buns are on another level. Those three items will leave you in disbelief you just had a breakfast this good. Hence why is so popular and always as long wait. Great Video.
If she is a service dog, unless she is being unruly (which would be rare for a service dog), they have to allow her...I did have one of the Flap Jacks in Gatlinburg, the one on the north side of town, tell me the dog had to walk in (as opposed being carried in a back pack), which doesn't make any sense, I could have waited for a manager, but just didn't want to promote a restaurant like that, so just want to another restaurant.
Hi Randy, great video again 👍 I was already amazed by watching the intro. And so many good informations about this city. Really liked it 😉 I told you several times but I have to say it again: You are getting better with every video that you are producing 👍👍👍 Have a good time and give a big hug to Bella. How old is she actually? Greetings and blessings (as always) from the western part of Germany 👋😎 Dirk
Thankyou Dirk yea she is almost 16...I appreciate that feedback...yep have to always improve to be worthy of people like you taking time to view the videos
I think it's me who have to say thank you! Your videos helped me several times to calm down after a stressful day. And my English also improved by watching these videos!!!
Jerri and I haven't been there in over 30 + years. Planning a trip up there soon.. Taking our Porsche Convertible for a fun drive through the Mountains. .. Can't wait to see all the new stuff.. WE are the Real Tom & Jerri for 40 years of marriage. 1st marriage for both of us. WE are retired and in our '70's and love to travel.. HooAH !!
So if they're building all this stuff all over the Smokies, what will happen to its wild animals and natural beauty? Although much of this seems fun and even interesting, I can't help but think of the song lyrics, "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot." I'm here visiting now, so maybe I'm contributing to that, but trying to do more of the natural stuff. Hiking, fishing, just enjoying what's left of this part of the mountains. I hope, truly, that development doesn't end up destroying what brought us here in the first place. Sorry for the rant, and thanks for the information.
Gatlinburg is 11 Sq Mi, Smoky Mtn Park is over 522,000 Sq mi with over 800 miles of Trails, so I think the wild animals and natural beauty will be just fine. Furthermore the counties of Sevier and Blount counties use the tax revenue from the tourist to help maintain the National Park as well as surrounding areas outside the Nat'l Park
Randy we love all your videos we love going to the Smokies Mountains. Your videos and information is outstanding we watch the Smoky Mountain Family all the time glad you paired up with them. What kind of drone do you use? Thank you Wayne
Thankyou Wayne I appreciate that. I use both an Mavic Air 2s and a Autel Evo2...For this video it was mostly with the Air2s, but for Cherokee and Bryson City it was mostly with the Evo 2.
Nice overview Randy & Bella. I have mixed feelings about this place. The beauty of the region ARE the Smokey Mtns and scenery. The amusement circus of attractions diminish this beauty imo. Eateries, hotels, music and performers of the area, Trades craftsman making replicas of its history are what could make this become a part of the natural setting.
Is it easy to walk around with a dog (she's bigger than one in video but gets nervous and scared in kennals without us so like next time we go might have to take her with us.)
That might be the case for you, but many of my followers, follow me because of the dog, and the dog is only in a few shots....And if you don't like dogs, you'll want to take not of the Dog Friendly places I point out, so that you can avoid them.
Great work my friend !!! The most complete video I have ever seen on the Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountain area !!! Most enjoyable !!!
Thankyou for the feedback, I appreciate that
The King is here!
Gatlinburg definitely on my Bucket List
Thankyou yep it is a unique place
Been waiting all day for this. Arriving in Gatlinburg in 1 week. Great video as always!

Hello from Orlando 😮
Thankyou, we interview one of the horse riders at Dolly Stampede in our Pigeon Forge video who is also from Orlando

Thankyou, great to hear, especially from someone who used to live in Gatlinburg
so beautiful, would love to see all of this but only in my dreams
I'm planning a trip to Smokey mountains in March. This video has been so helpful in planning our first time to this beautiful region from the UK.
That is a good time to go, it's not as crowded as it is in May but weather starts to warm up
Great video. Now I must go to Gatlinburg.
You should!
Thanks so much for sharing another wonderful video like always 👍🤗🐶

Great video. The arts and crafts district was something I glad you pointed out.
Yep, thats more my style
One of the Dreamcatchers is one of my buddies from school, always can see him with a banjo in hand. Love your videos where I haven’t been there for a long time!
Went there in 2018 after the fire, it was surreal.
I've never heard of the arts and crafts loop. I'll go back just for that
Yep, many people do not know of the Arts and Crafts loop, yet might be the best part of Gatlinburg
Thanks for the video !!!
You are welcome Renzo
Excellent video, so helpful!! We already know where to go and not waste time, thanks to this. Thank you!
Glad to help, thanks for the feedback

What a great video. Havent been there in 20 years. Lots of changes. Thinking maybe spring 2024 would be a good time to revisit.
Spring is a good time to visit or early May, when I did this video, it's before it gets too crowded
I'll be there in 3 weeks, can't wait!!!!
