Andrew and George Miedecke - the Miedecke men 🏁

Born in Tasmania and with humble beginnings (including a profound horse experience) Andrew Miedecke might not have realized his childhood dream of racing F1 but history will show that he would build a wonderful car racing career both here, in NZ and overseas.
Son George too has always shown considerable speed and skill in establishing his own racing career both here in Australia and the USA.
I caught up with the pair of them this week at Andrew’s home in Port Macquarie for a very impromptu and informal chat around the kitchen table.
This is just our first of what I hope will be many catch ups because there are so many wonderful stories to tell about the fantastic Miedecke men.
I'm so grateful to have intersected with these two guys from my days announcing the V8 Ute Series some twenty years ago.
I've been a fan of their racing and their character and integrity ever since.
Btw note how you say “Miedecke” direct from the horse’s mouth.
