- In this video I compare the two latest SYMMETRIC PEARL pieces in the SPI lineup, the Storm Summit Peak and the 900 Global Xponent Pearl! The layouts are included below...
Summit Peak - 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2
Xponent Pearl - 4 x 4 x 2 Спорт
Absolutely love my peak shot 267 & 255 in games 7 & 8 of a tourney to cash and shot 277 game 3 of league last week to win high game and series for the week. Balls already paid for itself 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Holy cow! Great job!
300 with the Summit Peak fresh out the box!
Yoooo that’s what’s up! Great job!
@@ScottAndersonBowling Appreciate that!
That peak my new fav ball.....aint had a set lower than 680 since i got it.....thing is sweet for sure
The ball just never stops! They really knocked it out of the park with both the Summit and the Summit Peak!
@@ScottAndersonBowlingI hated my summit it.....threw it for a month and changed the surface a bunch and it just didn't match up with my game at all
@@vinny702 do you remember the layout? We sold a ton of Summits and everyone down by me loved them!
@@ScottAndersonBowling I do not.....typical pin up layout tho.....nothin special
How do compare the summit peak vs sublime? Do you have the sublime slower and smoother?
Sublime felt like a step down entirely. Slower, yes, but less overall hook as well. Summit Peak feels like it’s in a land of its own.
Scott, what finger tape mfg. are you using? Can't find one that is thin enough and will stay on my fingers.
I tape it three ways with that tape. But I use the Ebonite Shiny Blue Tape.
Would you say the Gold Label Zen is stronger than the Summit Peak? Also where does the Sublime fit?
The Gold Label is cleaner and slightly weaker overall than the Peak. The Sublime being a hybrid would fit between these two in overall strength but a touch earlier overall in terms of length.
I’m thinking about getting the summit peak. I have a Storm Omega Crux, Storm Virtual Gravity Blackout, Roto Grip Tour Dynamix, Roto Grip Camo Hustle, and a Storm Hy-Road Pearl. I thought it would be a good symmetric piece to add to the bag to ball down from the Blackout. What do you think?
I agree. Would be a great place for a strong symmetric pearl.
What ball would you take overall, attention star or the summit peak?
Two different shapes. Summit Peak is stronger and rounder. Attention Star is quicker and more angular.
What was the layout you had for both balls?
The layouts are in the description of the video.
how do u compare the attention star and this summit peak ?
The Attention Star is a touch later and a touch more angular out of the box. Once I hit the surface, it brought them closer together. The Summit Peak is an overall stronger ball though.
Scott I just got the Summit Peak do you think the Exponent Pearl would fit in the arsenal I have which is the Magic Gem, ZenMaster, PhazeII, OGZen, Gold Label and IQ Ruby? I don’t want it to be to close to my Gold Label? I like your ball reviews.
I feel you have an amazing arsenal as it. It would be just above your Ruby and just under your Gold Label IMO. But I’m not sure you need something in that tight window.
If you’ve never had a Gem or (Harsh) Reality, maybe something at the top of the bag would be better.
@@ScottAndersonBowling thanks for the help.
@@EdisonZ06 no problem!
Would either ball be useful for low speed low rev bowlers aka most seniors.
Xponent would be a better option for you 100%
You could even go with something like a Hustle depending on how low the speed is.
Please, let the ball do the talking.
Thanks for the advice!
