@@BigRed27 it would fit between them but be a different shape. The Zen and Hyroad are pearls so I picked a Pearl to fit between them. But in terms of overall strength, yes your Exponent will also fit between them.

@@Mityob67 the Sublime would be a great choice for a smoother hybrid shape like the 2.0! The Road or TNT Infused are other great options. But Sublime for sure seems the best fit.

@@Brian-zm7ku this feels very similar to the Zen. I think the Attention Star would be a better gap filler. Like an asymmetric ZGL.

@@bigyodatheman it’s crazy! Hard to control at times, but balls like that will always have a place in the bag.

@@Vietboy004 it’s going to be earlier and stronger than both of them. The Attention Star will be cleaner and sharper. The Coil will be cleaner and rounder.

@@Vietboy004 the new one? Yeah maybe break the surface. You might also be bowling on charred lanes as is and the ball is burning up. Make sure there’s enough oil to help the ball shape or else it’s going to give the illusion that it’s going dead straight.

@@Vietboy004 I’d also go with a light 2,000 grit if you feel it’s not as early as it needs to be and that should help wake it up!

@@birvin00 it’s just a fancy way of putting finger tape on. I’m conventional so I use three different strips of just regular finger tape to cover my fingers.

@@rachelnichols6772 this is an amazing question! When I first started throwing this ball I immediately said it reminded me of the Harsh Reality Pearl but a tad smoother shape. They’re both very strong, I would say the Harsh would compliment the Ion though just due to its asymmetry.

Stronger than the cosmos overall. Cleaner than the P2 with more backend

@@MJManzelli I never had the Synergy, but from those I talk to, this Optimum Pearl is in a class of its own. Hard to compare it to anything.

@@RidiculousTwo believe it or not, the Ascent, although the bigger ball, feels like my move left ball more than the Ion does. I feel like I can circle the lane with this ball without compromising any power downlane with how clean that R2S Cover is.

@ScottAndersonBowling I can see that. So maybe start a little straighter with the Ion then move to Ascent when it's time to open up some? I asked because both the Ion and Ascent are being compared to the IQ Solid.

@@RidiculousTwo for two different reasons though. Ion and IQ are similar in strength but different in shape. Ascent and IQ are similar in shape but two totally different stratospheres when it comes to overall reaction. I hope that helps.

@@thomasworrilow4228 to me, all those smells are similar, and yes this one is strong. BUT, if I’m going to be honest, the smell of my two Ion Pro’s in that bag overtakes the scent of the Summit aSCENT when I open it up 🤣

@@mhwchar1957 I can see it. To me the Zen was a tad earlier but rounder. This ball is still quick downlane compared to the Zen but not by much.

@@willjames6437 it’s not about how good it looks though! It’s just about comparing it to other balls and seeing where it might fit in your bag. Most bowling balls can strike, it’s not hard to knock the pins over most of the time. I just try to help people make better decisions. That’s all.

@@VinnyManzi I actually hit mine with 3,000 for like 30 seconds just to help blend it a little. The Idol core is extremely forward to me, so I wanted to round it out just a touch.

@@aaronmillsap nope hers was pin up. We hit the surface a little, and like I said in the video, tons of volume in the middle. The lanes were extremely cliffed.

@@yukon4449 well on my channel I always compare a ball to another ball. I understand not everyone bowls like me, but ball to ball comparisons are what’s most important. You’ll never bowl on a lane like the lane I’m on in my videos, or with the same rev rate or same tilt and rotation. But what can be the same are the balls. So when I compare a ball to another ball, that’s the focus of the video, I’m never trying to tell you “this ball hooks 40 boards”…I usually describe it in terms of a comparison from one BALL to another BALL.
