- In this video I compare the latest ASYMMETRIC SOLID piece in the SPI lineup, the Roto Grip XCell to it's competition in that same family, the original GEM! The layouts are included below...
XCell - 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2
Gem - 4 x 4 x 3-3/4
Was thinking of taking this to Vegas as my top of bag ball.
I think it’s a great idea, on the tougher patterns though, if you want to start with it, I’d go with a lower pin layout to help blend the pattern.
@@ScottAndersonBowlingnot a bad idea! So far my bag looks like X-Cell, Ion, optimum idol, Coil or Attention(haven’t decided which one yet), lightning Blackout and a urethane
@@SgtPhroste Urethane was my best friend lol
Love the content! Keep it up!
Great video! My question is what did you use to wrap your fingers?
It’s just finger tape but I use three cuts to make sure I cover the entire finger. I also use it because I’m a full conventional grip.
@@ScottAndersonBowling I use it also do you find that it wears out over a couple games? What brand do you use?
@@michaelalexander9634I’m not sure what you mean by wears out, but I use different brands at times. Every type is usually similar though.
Looks like the original Cell’s motion. How would you compare this to the OG Cell? I’ve heard others say this is closer to a Nuclear Cell. But I honestly don’t see it. Thoughts?
Reminds me exactly of the old Cell. Makes sense considering the only major difference is the AI core. I’m excited to throw it more!
