I remember going to a tournament out in Albuquerque one yr with a buddy who was on the tour and was a friend of Pete's. After the day ended we get a ride and it's Pete in the front seat with a fat joint. Let's just say that was a great ride back to the hotel lol. First time I ever met the guy and he was the most down to earth guy I met.

First of all, PETE WEBER HAS A PBA RECORD THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES.
His personal life is HIS PERSONAL LIFE. Like or dislike or indifferent, Weber SERIOUSLY TRIES TO BE A GREAT REPRESENTATIVE TO THE PBA AND TO THE SPORT OF BOWLING. Yet, some people are more harshly judgemental than understanding. I know MANY things about Pete Weber. He is not "prim & proper like his legendary father was.
In fact, his father once told him "just be Pete and always be Pete".
And Pete is a GENUINE person. He is often quite candid. He has many friends and people in the spotlight shouldn't care what every single person thinks or says about them. That would be unhealthy.
He has remained determined to keep on representing the PBA and the sport of bowling VERY WELL. He had an outstanding mother & father and comes from a wonderful family.
We all have some character defects and if you don't really know someone maybe you should consider saying something genuinely pleasant instead of choosing to insult when it isn't necessary. And, he does nice things for people too. He is a big asset to the PBA and those involved recognize that. Just my perspectives.

I’m new to bowling so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but the way I see it is whichever style that the bowler chooses is best for them, let it be. If it betters them as a player, then that’s their prerogative. I as a baseball player change stuff about my style of play constantly and that helps to improve my game, why should that be different here?
