This time I managed to get the North tower in, probably the best part of this scramble. Would be sketchy in strong winds and winter conditions imo though
Nice video man, brings back memories! I'm currently watching videos to remind me of the route as I'm going up this week. Took a different variation of this route on each occasion. Subbed so I can catch your other videos too 😊
Oh for sure. I got into a hairy spot once on my own and asked myself how I ended up there but luckily found my way safely in the end. Last time I was up there was 3 years ago in winter which was a really fun experience! I've wanted to go across Bristly Ridge and for various reasons decided against it each time but we intend to take it in this time!
@AnthonysWalksAndWildCamps another fantastic route, but take sinister gully instead. Big mountain day out to do the Bochwlyd horseshoe, north ridge, south ridge, bristly ridge and down y gribin. Fantastic day out that 😀
@@clogsonthemountain yes that's kind of our intended route 😊 I feel like when travelling to that area of Snowdonia Tryfan almost had to be scaled otherwise I feel like I've missed out 🤣
Bloody hell some of that looks far too much like actual climbing for me!!! I walked to Cadair Idris via The Pony Path this week for the first time and it was amazing and nothing like this.
Probably on the higher scale of grade 1 but still a grade 1 scramble. Cadair idris is beautiful! Got a video on that coming out on the 7th of October but via a different route than yours 👍
Another brilliant video cloggy! You sure do spend alot of time in Snowdonia, which is great by the way. I once did O. Valley - Y garn - both glyders - bristley ridge - Tryfan north ridge - back down to O.valley. Very long & demanding day but excellent stuff. Any plans to go back to Scotland the land of the Brave? I've done a handful of Munro's in the Black Cullien on Skye. It Took me out of my comfort zone but what an experience🙏 Right up your street👍
@jimcollins3446 thanks! Yes got wild plans for Scotland and really looking forward to doing more there. Snowdonia has a special place in my heart however driving into Scotland always puts a smile on my face 😊

Great stuff, clearly shows all the main landmarks on the route; canon, north tower, notch, north summit etc.
Great scramble when all combined mate 👍
A great scramble mate, views were awesome despite the cloud. Very atmospheric!
Thanks mate, my views will come!
Beautiful nature my friend
Sure is gorgeous

Many ways to do the northridge some better than others...

Just noticed the suggested video is your Bristly Ridge video so I will check that afterwards 👍🏻

@@clogsonthemountainwell it looks like a bloody dangerous scramble regardless of grade, a simple mistake could have the gravest of consequences.
@The_Reality_Filter absolutely, some scrambles are not for novices or shouldn't be attempted alone or without rope
