These experiences stay with you. No matter when they happened, 70 years or 70 days ago, once the demands of family, job and responsibilities no longer dominate your time, remembering these experiences brings joy. In my case, even the negative experiences caused positive long term changes.
You set off on a quest the moment you opened this app. You have already begun that journey. Every day you are learning, practicing, returning, evolving.
It's important that you give yourself credit for every bit of effort you make, no matter the outcome. You are in the process of redesigning your life.
Absolutely
I definitely can say I have had my fair share of powerful first experiences within the past 12 years of my life that’s for sure. Been to many places and had partaken in numerous novel experiences. I can’t say my life is boring that’s for sure.
Good
Wow 😮 that's awesome 👍
I'd like to know few examples if it's fine..

This is truth! You need nature! Lots of people from the city don't realize how amazing just being in the woods is for your mind! Such a shame people don't travel enough. Too bad the middleclass has been destroyed by the rich right wing
You do know there is also a rich left wing?
@@LilyGazou Definitely! I just had my wife start talking to me so I cut my comment short.
Oh snow angels and snow forts. I did that when I was a teen.
This presentation has a great idea: We can constantly bring new vitality to our lives with new experiences.
7:52 that solitary laugh is gold
Feels like this has prepared me for the future. Creating personal powerful first experiences is powerful 💯
Thank you so much Mr. Chabert. PFE is a real thing than can empower a person whose life seems settled. People need to be inspired by new things to keep a young mindset! This is a remarkable speech I hope more people have the chance to watch it😊
I really enjoyed this, thank you!
Thank you 🙏
It's funny this came up on my feed, one of my new years resolutions was 1 unique experience per week. I also work a job where I travel so that requires not one singular bland commute.
Thank you
I enjoy it.
Thank you
This is awesome
What a coincidence! I just booked a flight to Bozeman today!
Let's make everyday a new adventure.

"Before I start, I must see my end.
Destination known, my mind’s journey now begins.
Upon my chariot, heart and soul’s fate revealed.
In time, all points converge, hope’s strength re-steeled.
But to earn final peace at the universe’s endless refrain,
We must see all in nothingness... before we start again."

Life changing. Good stuff 👏🏼
One of the better talks I've listened to in a while.
I really feel sorry for so many people who live in urban environment and don't develop the proper connection and appreciation for nature. It's not novelty at all, it's where we belong. It must be awful to live in NYC to appreciate this things such late in your life, we all need it since early childhood.
SUPER Idea
What about learning and sharing FIRST EXPERIENCES with other people, more often?

thanks much
Thank you for showing me a good video. Wishing you a very nice new day!

0:24 "I'm kidding."
you don't have to travel....Public Speaking allow someone to tell their story who they are what they want in life etc
sounds very inspiring. but sometimes new experience could ruin your life not change your life 🥴
listen carefully to the intention he mentioned, feed inspiration and courage instead.
I believe this is what the kids these days call "touching grass". Does "PNE" really need a name? The point is mostly just "get off your phone, and go out and try news stuff".
Novel good intentions am i right?
Cameraman liked to focus on the Middle School teacher (if you know, you know)

"Development does not only mean increased production of goods- but also the development of people - the stimulation of their innate abilities, giving them a feeling of self-determination, self-respect, self-reliance and enthusiasm. Unless people are involved in the process of development and are given a chance to do something worthwhile, to grasp new ideas, acquire new skills and develop a sense of their own worth, no society can move out of misery and poverty"

And languages I've got those. English, Spanish and enough z Russian i could get what I want in Russia.
His voice is like Morgan Freeman
@@Rivanni well, he's not exactly like morgan, only some hints of a few overtones in his voice, and yeah, probably i've never heard morgan's lisps because of multiple takes in Hollywood and editing
it is so sad that som0's eone in their 70's only talks about their teenage years....egotistical self centered recovering alcoholic/addict and telling you how wonderful life was. I am 73 and not me
I hope he rode a horse, that would be a powerful first experience for him.
Public speaking is tricky. You should rehearse, but not memorize to the point of sounding like a robot.
He’s nervous
@@alfredhitchcock45 And that is perfectly understandable and normal, but you can tell he rehearsed maybe too much.
Ted Talks lowered the bar below every level. :(
TED, go woke, go broke.
That’s way to be broke by pursuing novelty all the time
@@alfredhitchcock45 it’s TED, do as I say, not as I do.
After too many catastrophically negative experiences... over and over and over and over and over again... it all gets way, way, WAAAYYY too old. I have no interest in "novelties". I just want to be left the F alone. 😂🤣😂 These rich people and their stupid ideas have become non-sequitur and tiresome.
He’s not even rich
Sadly the content of this had little to do with the title. He spent too much time talking about race stuff. Apparently he doesn't understand that the mere statement "people who don't look like me" is racist at its core.
Black people wonder why they are often seen as extremely racist by others. It's because of very good reasons.
Examples:
BET - Black Entertainment Television.
C'mon - that's extremely racist.
If there was a TV network called White Entertainment Television it would be called extremely racist.
How about the TV show Blackish?
Same thing -
If there was one called White-ish it wouldn't be allowed on the air.
The double standards are so blatant & stupid.
you seem to be reading far too much into what was a miniscule part of the discussion.
Yeah Blacks complain about racism but are also racist against other races
Waste of time.
why?
He’s still young and naive
Whatever.
Why so jaded
