Ok Autumn this is the smoothie of my dreams!! This was so delicious, a couple of weeks ago I drank it everyday for breakfast for about 8 days straight before reluctantly eating another breakfast. I shared this recipe with a friend and coworker because I was so satisfied. Every time I drank it my mood was awesome the entire day. The taste reminds me of the not so healthy strawberry milkshakes from fast food restaurants, but 100% healthier. I watch your videos frequently and just never saw this recipe, but better late than never. I had to make some slight modifications since I’m not a fan of Greek yogurt or whey protein, but even still with egg white protein powder and no yogurt it was heavenly. Thank you Autumn for this top notch recipe!
As much as I like Autumn's smoothies, I have created my own killer smoothie which is high in fat & protein, yet low in net carbs & sugar. Hope Autumn doesn't mind me posting it, but it really makes for a super rich, thick, and creamy smoothie. **Keto Berry Smoothie** 8 oz of unsweetened macadamia milk 8 oz of plain full fat Greek yogurt 1cup frozen mixed berries 1 medium sized avocado, skin & pit removed 2 oz heavy whipping cream 1 egg 1/2 cup of monkfruit 1 tbsp coconut oil Pretty much just throw everything above in a high speed blender and blend till smooth. It will make for approximately four 8 oz servings, altho my wife and I split it into two 16 oz portions. The following macros are approximate and based on a single 8 oz serving. Calories: 200 Fat: 15 Net carbs: 6 Sugar: 6 Protein: 9 Again, these values are approximate, but there is no doubting the keto benefits of this mixture, and I guarantee it will be one of the richest & creamiest smoothies you'll ever have. I often make this for friends and family and they all love it. Hope you will too.

Dear Autumn, the hack is also to ALWAYS lick the spoon after adding the peanut butter ( crunchy for me ) :P. I'll give this a go definitely, instead of chia seeds I assume flaxseeds should do the work. Thanks a lot

I only had "strawberries and cream" greek yogurt so there was sugar, and my protein powder had sugar and was "fruit loops" flavored. But this was really good with the ingredients I used! definitely has that fruit loops aftertaste . Omg my rat can smell it and he's running over for some!! 😂 I'm just trying to do better than I have been so I'm not too upset about all the added sugar because I'm still eating a lot less than I was! I feel like I want to slowly get better to make it more sustainable. Baby steps. And I feel like this is a good first couple steps!

what's really good is adding PB2. they make different versions. one i know has a ton of protein....along with a ton of calories. some are lower in calories.

It's interesting how videos like this don't actually tell you how much this stuff costs, and in this videos case, don't tell you the calories or protein values. For anyone curious, this smoothie would cost about $2.61 and have around 24g of protein in it. That's using normal protein power though, since her one is about 3x as expensive. If you wanted to use hers, it'd be $3.45 per smoothie. That's quite an expensive smoothie for a normal person. Either way, it's around 425kcal.

Turns out the "breastfeeding diet" isnt actually good for weight loss. I have been using premier protein powder. What is your opinion on it? You can also check in with your OBGYN to see if there is any specific reason why they might not want you having whey isolate.

True. When you choose peanut butter with the only ingredient being "peanuts" or peanuts and salt, then there won't be hydrogenated oils either (those are added in).

Frozen Strawberries, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, peanut butter ( unsweetened)…. Vanilla extract……

If you have time, that's great! But I've found that the blender does a great job of breaking it up so soaking isn't always necessary.

Ingredients:

True. When you choose peanut butter with the only ingredient being "peanuts" or peanuts and salt, then there won't be hydrogenated oils either (those are added in).
