I almost had joke similar to that in this video, but it didn’t make the cut…. You know that episode of TNG when Beverly’s stuck on the D and everyone’s disappearing. Well anyways, Thanks!
1:55 to be fair so t partnered with Philips to invent the cd (Philips even came up with the name) the blue ray was another Sony partnership this time along with Philips they were now joined by Panasonic and taking, the minidisc was Sonys but that didn’t last long
Stewart Copeland and Genelec's y'all! this is the *bomb* diggety!! g**-d***ed algorithm. And speaking of outta date SCSI connectors what about that old 30pin monstrosity that used to decorate all ipods at one time *yeesh!* And congrats on using LUFS for the measurements, very admirable 👍(righto!) The head-to-head, side-by-side comparison brilliant. Zoom is poop-ish definitely 💩, Tascam and Sony for the win! And my fav, ye olde sine wave "sweep" (beeeeyoooo!). I cannot stop laughing.
Did anyone else notice the odd audio quality of the Sony recording, during the voice test, at 12:08? It sounds like it recorded everything twice, like a single echo, giving it an unpleasant metallic quality. I’m no audiophile (but I am a geek), so I can only assume this is because the Sony uses those omni-directional mics, resulting in both a direct audio path from the speakers, plus a slightly delayed reflection off a wall, perhaps? I guess that using some vaguely directional mics would have screwed up the clean, Sony design styling. Form over function. Still not subscribing. Keep up the reasonably great work. I’ll get my anorak.
I THINK you're correct and that's likely the shape of the room adding to the response of the mics accentuating certain displeasing frequencies. Considering the use-case, I actually agree with most of Sony's choices with this thing, including the directionality (polar pattern) of the mics. I just wanted to make a review that wasn't from the same POV as the rest of the reviews of this thing. It seemed like it was all wedding shooters. The stereo image is important to me so I leaned on it a bit. - Thanks!
This makes zero sense. You've not cracked 1000 subs yet. Could you please collab with some YT 'influencer' *vomit* *flip table* and thereby get the monetary compensation for your time that you deserve? Where is your patreon? Take my money?? Thanks for the laughs.
Perhaps the most unhinged "tech RUclips" videos since KnowledgeHusks infamous descent into madness circa 2020. Incredible work.
Oh!! How well you did it... there are no clicks in the audio of the comparison video when there is a change in audio track... Subscribed
This is always reasonably quality content.
I give it an 89 'cuz i trip ballz to it. 🎳
I had no idea gonorrhea was that bad. I'm tripping balls thinking about it.
Keep in mind that book’s from 1922… :). We have paracetamol now.
Quintessentially British. Well done sir, I found it most entertaining!
That's fun. Good video, I'm liking the random offshoot tangents.
i feel like you're about to narrate about my life in a cubicle where everyone has suddenly disappeared
great review btw!

Which “AI” voice is it that you’re using? I’ve heard it here and there recently - super good.

I have no idea why I watched this entire review untill the end since I have absolutely no interest in the product :).

Once I monetize, it’ll just be hookers and blow all day all night. …maybe I shouldn’t get paid.
