Made this again this evening, this time I had anchovies - anchovies are a must.
Made this last night, it was the absolute bomb! I’ve been making something similar but had never tried using anchovy before this recipe - so good. Would not know they were there unless I put them in myself - but the flavour they add is amazing!

I make aglio y olio often and add LOTS of garlic, and, I also add a few fillets of anchovies to the oil. That just kicks this recipe up a notch. 😋

It's pronounced "Alio e olio"! ;) Great recipe! Never done it with shrimps and lemon. It looks very tasty!
Great recipe, I made it for supper today, unfortunately I had no anchovies, it is labor intensive because of the need to devein the shrimp.

I added a splash of white wine to the shrimp. Also, some of us Italians believe there is never too much garlic😉

Nice work: quick and delicious. Small hint: after fingering the anchovies, wash your hands in COLD water, the fish molecule is soluble in cold not hot 🙂

Just made it, with chicken instead of shrimp (we're Jewish), for my family. Even my picky-eater 4 year old liked it!

I've always done that with water for pasta and potatoes exactly the same with ketlle . I also dry my prawns completely, prawns give their flavour away at a certain temp so your doing them no favours leaving them wet!

30% of oil chili and garlic in the pan with the prawns on high heat for 90 secs then add tagliatelle Al dente and the rest of the oil chilli and garlic then toss for 60 seconds. Lid on and leave for 5 mins toss with lid on and serve......
