@LesOReilly Indeed! Quick question. I looked on their Discord but haven't found the answer. Does the primer actually do anything in ANY of MSFS aircraft? I'm Specifically wondering about the FSW 414. I thought I read something about it being required now,(change log?), but for some reason, I can start the engines without primer or aux pumps!
@@LesOReilly Ok, appreciate your help. The 414 is awesome and makes me confident that I'm going to love the Lear 35A just as much, if not more. Going to purchase it soon!
414 is great the LEAR is also really really good ... again like before with FSW.. They are constant work in progress in this phase of release and how they do the "early access". The real deal will be that C24R ;) but I might be a little biased on wanting it out :)
I also had a discord convo with connex about using those exact axis to work like knobs so I could assign them to Range event. He said he may put that on a todo list to make that possible. I never figured out a way to do that otherwise with existing capabilities.
The issue is always going to be that when it gets to the “end” of the axis it won’t be able to generate a value to that direction.. so for encoders there is kind of getting stuck. You could have it replace multi position. Switches or rotary switches that have limits and values. Not going to be able to really be used with something that is an encoder and does not have limits.
I don’t have a computer engineering degree nor do many other users. You just have to stick with it until you make that first “breakthrough” where you connect the dots. This one is about using an Axis which is an Analog device that generates Values based on where the slider is to flip the switch like it was a “button” which only knows 0/1. We are basically picking how far up from the bottom will the off position register and how far from the top will the on position register. Then we assign the event to that “range” or amount of axis like we would had it been a switch with an on or off position.
Hang in there. I'm a former IT girl and sometimes I have gotten confused with how to set certain things up. Les does a great job explaining things so it makes sense.
Got my parking brakes setup to only work when my toe brakes are depressed. This is fun! 😊
So many cool things to use.

@@redtailpilot yeah not sure .. Guess they work without it.. Not sure If I ever needed it either.

Thank you. Very well explained as always!
appreciate you taking the time to let me know.
Wow thank you so much! Incredible now I am a happy user for sure 😊
Great to hear! I too am just a happy user :)
I never get these explanations or guides. They seemed for people with computer engineering degrees. I get totally lost and confused.
