    We punjabis also making similar kind of bread especially in saawan month. I love your star shaped flatbread, adding of sesame seeds gives crunchy flavour to bread. Looks so delicious and addictive

    This is a very new recipe for me especially sugar water that you added to make the dough and I loved the way you made tikkiyaan such as cute shape and the jalebi pan is so good plus your amazing tips

    Mithyun tikkyun is new recipe for me, they looks very delicious. Sesame seeds added gives good taste and made these tikyun healthy.

    Great recipe..Sravan is the moth of poojas, festivals, bhog's.. I try lot of variations to offer..thnq for nice new recipe..it looks like esay way of ariselu we make with rice flour.

      Yes, you are right. Ariselu is my all time favourite. I haven't yet given a try making at home. Always enjoy them when I visit my family in Andhra.

    Shobha we use the same dough recipe but make bhakri. Don't know whether it is a Gujarati tradition or not but my aunts use to make it for Shitala Satam. Such an interesting and tempting recipe. Would love to try it out. Also like how you've crimped the edges.

      Mayuri, we also make it for Shitala Satam which is called Thadri or Satain in Sindhi. It is really amazing to know there are so many similarities in various parts of India. Similarly in Bihar they make Thekua for Chhath pooja with different shapes.
