4 cups of baklava flour (480gr)
1 teaspoon of salt 8g
2 glasses of water (400ml)

Parotta is what this is called in South India.
Originated in Ceylon.
The Tuticorin port workers introduced it to South India at some point.
This recipe is very popular in Tamilnadu and Kerala.
There are many varieties like Bun parotta, Veechu parotta, Nool parotta, Ceylon parotta, Malabar parotta, Mutta parotta, Kothu parotta, Coin parotta etc.

@@eryru este pan se invento en china se llama rougamo es muy popular aya, deberias de ver videos de como lo hacen aya y como lo comen.
Yo vivo en Indonesia y también lo hacemos, es riquísimo. Aquí lo llamamos roti Maryam. También es muy típico en Singapur.

I tried it sometimes but mine never had so many layers...I never knew there was this method as well... will try this. Thank you😊
For this one you need to come to the Malabar region of Kerala... We call it Nool Porotta here...
These are not layers ,,, these are strings ❗❗❗❗
This is not practical to use as a bread .
If it was layers , then it is OK,,, but this one is too STRINGY.

This is locally known as lachadar paratha in Pakistan and is very common for breakfast (usually with chai or omelette).
You can easily find it in every cafes and hotels.
