      I think AE is pronounced softer as compared to E

      the difference is the 에 is a straight forward E but 애 like Eh-ee like you pronounce the a and e for example in y*ay*

      The only difference I could hear is in the intonation/pitch, which is super weird if you’re an English speaker because intonation is used exclusively to convey emotion rather than literal meaning. I saw another video though saying that modern Koreans don’t actually distinguish between the two in speech
