Manufacturers on the whole are not too keen to make it known models will be replaced too far in advance as it would effect sales. (Some keep quiet until actual release date). Though It looks to me like the replacement for the PSR-SX700 and SX900 are coming out later on in 2024. Within months I'd say, Sept/Oct/Nov time. Announcement at least. The biggest USA dealer has stopped stocking these two SX models since June 2024 and of the big 3 EU retailers we have the following as of end of July 2024: Retailer 1, PSR-SX600 and SX700 in stock. Retailer 2, just the PSR-SX600 in stock. Retailer 3, all three models in stock but at substantial reductions, SX600 is £559, SX700 is £895, SX900 is £1759. (All in low numbers of stock, looking likely the SX700 and SX900 could be the last stock they'll have). So likely y'all be too late to get such a bargain. I notice some UK retailers do not have new SX700 &/or SX900's for sale at all. I suspect it'll be just the PSR-SX 700 and 900 that are replaced in 2024, leaving the PSR-SX 600 in place until early 2025. All a part of marketing and sales. The hope likely being that existing PSR-SX600 owners will upgrade to the SX700 or even the SX900 (replacement!) when in a buzz of excitement they come out. See how it works! The thing is if all 3 models were replaced at the same time some SX600 owners may just upgrade to the SX600 replacement. (The SX600 btw came out in 2020 one year after the SX700 and SX900, so may well stick to that pattern). I predict along with the SX600 replacement coming in early 2025 the 88 key DGX-670 will also be replaced around the same time. That model is getting old as well, though it looks a decent enough piece of kit. Then after all that possibly mid to end of 2025 the PSR-E473 and PSR-EW425 replacements may well come out. With of cause there likely being the hope that just after the PSR-SX600 replacement is released the owners of those two lesser keyboards just mentioned upgrade in the mean time to the SX600 replacement. It has to be all worked out in advance, planned out, production dates planned out, with retailers more than likely knowing why they cannot get hold of an existing keyboard, from experience, because it'll soon be replaced. BUT, even knowing that, had they some of the old stock in stock, the customer would likely not be told of an imminent new release. Unless they were a long time customer. Some dealers would do that, the dealer just being glad to shift the last stock out the way, then restock in a fanfare with the new sexy models. Such a customer who was not informed could end up feeling 'cheated', having ponied up all that substantial amount of money and maybe ending up walking away feeling 'buyers regret'. Wishing they had instead got the newer model. I feel for them already! What would that dealer say if asked?, "Oh no, we we were not informed either", could be a reply, how could anyone prove otherwise?. Trust could be lost, risking the loss of repeat sales, repeat sales being something the dealer would prefer but selling each and every product in stock is the main concern. Getting the item sold, being the priority for many of them. Along with customer satisfaction and other factors to be fair. I just say, if purchasing such a costly instrument as a PSR-SX700 do your due diligence. A decent enough bit of gear, I wouldn't mind one, though I would sooner have its imminent replacement. Not wanting that 'missing out' feeling. Though of cause initially there would be a missing out of £hundreds, due to the price difference. We'll just have to see. I do though bet on a mid to late Sept 2024 announcement with retailers getting new stock prior to Xmas 2024.
I must congratulate you on your videos, plus the very good impression you give of Bonner's Music as a company to deal with. I'm in Australia and have excellent dealers here, but if I lived in the UK I suspect I would be dealing with you. While I am pro Yamaha, I must admit that with their keyboards, Yamaha have been falling behind the rest of the market in features and value for money, but now with the 700 and 900 models here, have re-established their market standing for arranger keyboards. It can be argued that Korg can provide even better value, but the complexity of their design approach and interface, plus the presence of some pro features really make them instruments for a different market. I'm eagerly waiting on delivery of my SX900 (initial stocks here sold very rapidly). [PS. Must admit one or two comments here have me scratching my head?]
Just like me, Joel. But with everything nowadays, when you buy something you truly love, it will only be a few short months until they come out with something even better. Do like me ... give up and appreciate what you have now! LOL!

Focusing on what we don't have is a subtle trap which leads to discontent with what we do have. This is a major challenge for me but, it is a losing game which never ends. The first song is "The Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby. The song at 3:45 is, "Morning" from "Peer Gynt" by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg. The song at 4:56 is music from the film, "The Deer Hunter". The song at 10:25 is "Lullaby Of Bird Land" in George Shearing style. The song at 12:55 is "Strangers In The Night". That's all I know.

Sx700 or a dgx 670 for sampling if you like 90s dance tunes?? Can you export recorded samples to music software suites off both of these models? And can you record vocals on both models and export vocal recordings??
My sx700 which is only 6 months old is stuck on the logo screen and I don't know what to do. Someone please give the solution.l came to know that many owners of this keyboard have the same problem.I think it has something to do with deleting items from favourites
You already did the obvious Yamaha reset? Hold down the far right key while turning on and off. Could be a software bug as you mention, try re installing the latest firmware and just replace when it asks. Only 6 months old is handy, you could also get an exchange or that repaired free under warranty.
Same problem here, I can't make a decision. It seems like the SX700 has a better user interface and has more styles than the Pa700 but lacks a lot of sounds and the vocal harmonizer. Also the Pa700 has a more powerful speaker and a video output.
There are many musicians, including hobby musicians like myself, who really like the many features which modern day electronics make possible. I really appreciate the light weight and portability of a keyboard, also there are never any expensive tuning sessions which a real piano needs quite often to sound really good. Changes in humidity can affect the beautiful sounds of a piano. Also, in general, mechanical things wear out much sooner than electronic things .
It is possibly to create your own sequences without using auto accompaniments. I hardly ever use auto accompaniments unless I'm playing and arranging Christmas carols or know the song well enough to use an auto accompaniment. But for the most part I sequence everything including the drums by hand. You see arranger keyboards are not just for old farts playing ballroom music or playing at a wedding party they can also be used by producers.

Thank you for this explanations, it´s very good and helpfull. I´ve ordered the PSR SX 700
Very useful review. God bless you brother
Can you explain where the music finder hase gone? well played greetings from the Netherlands.
The biggest USA dealer has stopped stocking these two SX models since June 2024 and of the big 3 EU retailers we have the following as of end of July 2024:
Retailer 1, PSR-SX600 and SX700 in stock.
I do though bet on a mid to late Sept 2024 announcement with retailers getting new stock prior to Xmas 2024.
very informative, curious about its keybed feels
Next time please make more demo in Organ Patches, Rhodes & EP.Which has better Organ Patches,EP between MODX & SX900? Thanks
Tony, would love to hear a full version of Elgar’s NIMROD from you on the PSR-SX900.
Please give us some tutorials for mixers eq and compressor sections
can anyone please tell me the song which is played from 14:10 onwards??
The song is “something stupid” originally sang by Nancy and Frank Sinatra
Nice demonstration Tony! Does anyone know the name of the song beginning at 2:19?
If you'll have a chance, could you review a Medeli AKX10 keyboard?
I love the way you play!!
Tony plays extremely well! I am trying to decide if he plays by ear or if he has memorized the songs. hmmm
It's possible to pitch (transpose) each part individually?
Sir what is the better EQ setting?for full band and one man band?
Thank you very much for your explanations ... it was very helpfull .....
How may we find the m relise on this keyboard

Can I add voice harmony to sx700? Great demos BTW
Excellent review. Thanks to you sir
It has deep Klavier like yamaha tyros?
I wish i had waited for this one and not purchased s775 last year
Just like me, Joel. But with everything nowadays, when you buy something you truly love, it will only be a few short months until they come out with something even better. Do like me ... give up and appreciate what you have now! LOL!
Same here!
@@canyoubelievethis220 It seems like a human weakness . . . the seductive trap of "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence". In our minds, it seems to be true, but, in reality, that isn't always so. I learned that from the "school of hard knocks". Focusing on what we don't have is a subtle trap which leads to discontent with what we do have. This is a major challenge for me but, it is a losing game which never ends. I remember some wisdom from Russian author, Tolstoy, "I was dissatisfied about not having any shoes until I met a man who had no feet". hmmm
Which is better synth keyboard or this one psr sx700?
hello can you advice my yamaha sx 700 how to activate 3 part voices the work only right1 and2 when i try activate right 3 there is atomaticaly turn off right1 and right2
Great game well done.👍👍👍👍👍👍 How much is PSR sx900
Tony make compersion video of Yamaha vs korg.
The way companies name there keyboards is often confusing. Some of the old keyboard’s could be confused with newer series.
Is it worth replacing Korg pa 900 for Yamaha psr sx 700?
It's not worth replacing but it's worth having the PSR-SX700 as well as the
Korg PA-900.
What speakers are you using
I already have an old Roland E-80 and i would like to know if the quality sound is better on the PSR-SX 700 than my Roland E-80?
In general is that a better keyboard and is it a good idea to change it?
Thank you
Nice review mate.
All he did was play tunes, hardly in-depth.
What songs is he playing in this demostration? Thanks and great video!
The first song is "The Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby.
The song at 3:45 is,
"Morning" from "Peer Gynt" by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg.
The song at 4:56 is music from the film, "The Deer Hunter".
The song at 10:25 is "Lullaby Of Bird Land" in George Shearing style.
The song at 12:55 is "Strangers In The Night".
That's all I know.
the song at 11:38 is "top gun anthem"
Hello sir? I want to buy a kybord. Which county are you
Does Yamaha PSR SX700 has Hammond draw bars
Yes bro.
Yes
Yes on the touchscreen & the controller on the left
Hy hwo îs The Best?yamaha sx700 vs roland ea7?thankyou verry much
Hello, I am interested to know is this model (sx700) has oriental voices and rhythm capabilities? Actually I am not sure that this model divided into two subgroups, like PSR-3000 and PSR-A3000? I doubt because you didn't show this important capability, (of course I'm not sure about that)
Thanks dude 🙏🏼👍
I think Yamaha has downloads of world music styles available.
Nice keyboard but a genuine unabashed upsell to the SX900. Constantly told what this keyboard lacks in favor of the SX900. Only a difference of $700, or £562, that's all.
Hello! Does anyone know the title of the first song that played isntrumental piano ... thanks
Bruce Hornsby - The Way It Is
What website pls
Very nice Tony! Does anyone know the name of the selection which begins at 3:45?
"Morning" from "Peer Gynt" by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg
bear in mind SX-700 doesn't have the Revo! Drums samples from the SX-900.
ESSE TECLADO É TOP, PARA QUEM PODE E PARA QUEM TOCA COMO PROFISSIONAL.
Grazie
What did you get?
yamaha psr-sx700 versus roland rd88 ?
2*15W versus 2*6W the difference is really audible ? for 13m2 room
I have this keyboard, i am looking for style update for it
Soundmondo. You can use ones from modx montage and more. Also Yamaha website has free ones, and plenty other sites have some free and some for purchase. Not hard to find using google.
sx900 or sx700? there's a difference of 700€....i'm so indecisive!!! There is a big difference in terms of general sound quality?
Help i need suggestion for a keyboard. I really like s art voices but i never use styles. So i feel buying a psr keyboard is way too overkill for me. Is there a better alternative for me? Im finding one which sounds as realistic as possible, especially on piano and other orchestral instruments
Buy a grand piano.
Modx6 is what you need
Sx700 or a dgx 670 for sampling if you like 90s dance tunes?? Can you export recorded samples to music software suites off both of these models? And can you record vocals on both models and export vocal recordings??
If the SX900 is the flagship arranger, then what is the Genos?
A money printing machine for Yamaha :)
The SX900 is not the flagship arranger Genos is.
What you can say between this Yamaha psr sx700 compared to the Korg Pa 700
Same problem here, I can't make a decision. It seems like the SX700 has a better user interface and has more styles than the Pa700 but lacks a lot of sounds and the vocal harmonizer. Also the Pa700 has a more powerful speaker and a video output.
Sir How its sound quality and other special futures??? Please reply quickly
Korg is number one. This one for west music only :)
Great job My Friend 👌👌👌👌👌😎🔉🔉🔉🔉🔉
Gran maestro tocando.
What is name First music?
Changes by 2pac
Would you buy this new or a used PSR S970?
If you don't need the vocal harmoniser I'd say get the SX700
Please I need one in Uganda 🙏
Yamaha at their best...Why can't they just stick to their amazing acoustic pianos!
Yamaha stick to acoustic pianos? They are already all over the place, from drum and saxophone to super bikes and marine outboard engine.
All this keyboard wants me to do is smash it up
Why?
@@ottohavasvolgyi2448 nothing to download
Yamaha is marketing this as a digital workstation, but this demonstration makes me think it’s just an entertainer keyboard....
Why does lights not turn of and the pop rock light stays on this keyboard sounds so cheap style nasty I bought Friday I feel we get ripped of loads
Why are we not allowed to download any styles to usb for psrsx700 keyboard is a joke
I'm trying get money back mines sounds loads bollocks
2 pac - just the way it is
I don't like Yamaha's power buttom giving ordinary,power buttom won't last
My psrsx700 sounds sht compared to that why is that
Well that looks easy 🤣
It is easy with Tony's musical talent.
Yes I am a grade 6 trinity student and played piano for 7 years this is easy
Psrsx is to dear with not alott of value so I'm done with it I tried elconda passa flutes terrible
How can I get some decent stuff on keyboard not ballroom rubbish
It is possibly to create your own sequences without using auto accompaniments.
I hardly ever use auto accompaniments unless I'm playing and arranging Christmas
carols or know the song well enough to use an auto accompaniment. But for the most
part I sequence everything including the drums by hand. You see arranger keyboards
are not just for old farts playing ballroom music or playing at a wedding party they can
also be used by producers.
@@LittleRichard1988 I tried that still sounds no difference all it does speed drums or take music away no its rubbish I don't bother with that this is just a keyboard like cheap Casio I used to have
