Jackie Evancho never ceases to amaze me, most recently with her beautiful and stunning performance as she led the entire nation in the singing of the US National Anthem the way it should be sung on the occasion of July 4. I just returned from vacation in Arctic Norway. Relaxing and listening to all of Jackie's albums outdoors there, it was as if she sang away bad weather and brought out warm, sunny weather and clear, blue skies with her beautiful, angelic and heavenly voice. As her voice matures it just gets more beautiful and more powerful. The smile and sparkle in her eyes has not changed since the first time I was blessed to hear her sing. What a pure and genuine talent. Truly a gift from a higher power. Thank you for sharing this wonderful gift with the world. When someone can bring joy to so many with her presence and voice they are to be cherished. Thanks to her parents for raising and continuing to guide and nurture such wonderful children. I don't see how you perceive her to be uncomfortable. She displayed her usual composed, personable,charming and self-confident persona. It was apparent that she enjoyed being there and was having fun. Btw, she is not a child singer anymore & never was, but a magnificently gifted singer who just happened to be a child. She's now a young lady now referred to as a virtuosa soprano. Yes, it is thrilling listening to her, & if you can ever experience her live, do it. You'll treasure the experience.
I think this is her finest performance on video I've seen. Reflections is a beautiful song and it's sophisticated enough so a performer can really get into it, and Jackie does a fantastic job on Fox & Friends. She's a gem and this performance proves it. Now, where's that brother of hers. I saw a clip of him singing and I'm guessing he's gonna be right up there with sis one of these days. Mom and dad should check their voices, maybe they've got the magic too, lol.

It's really hard to label one voice over another as "one of the best of all time" - but a STRONG case can be made for Jackie. I live in the UK and have all of her cds/dvds and also have ALL of her you tube clips on an external hard drive. I am as big a fan now ( if not bigger ) as i was all those years ago. how ever, i have now found another very young singer that also won a talent at the age of 8 years old.show, namely, Norse Talenter (Norways got Talent) and her name is Angelina Jordan, her genre is Jazz, but she covers all the classics, Angelina is as good at 12 as our Jackie was, and still is. please give Angelina a visit, i know you will love her. One of the first comments I made on Jackie's AGT RUclips audition video was that she was intensely focussed on learning about showmanship; she didn't just sing, she WATCHED and was making mental notes about everything going on. Being a teacher, I have always loved kids like that. So my point is that Jackie probably admires Gaga's showmanship because even at age 10, that is what Jackie liked. Remember, she began singing songs from PHANTOM OF THE OPERA because she was entranced by the SHOW.

While Connie is still feeling her way to creating a pop sound that is unique and perfect for her. But I beleive Connie is close to discovering that sound, and when she does we will hear from her again too. I think both of them have lovely personalities, in their own different ways.
