You make it to their shop you should see a 9.8 tmnt 1 that was just sold a couple of weeks ago.
Torpedo was my go-to Whatnot seller for a while in 2021. With their massive inventory, they always had books that i was interested and they have a lot of signings. My only complaint was the sticker price was usually quite high and if you didnt bid up close to that price the people running the shows on Whatnot would always say "its got to go for more than that" or "youre stealing from us" when in reality i was paying FMV or possibly slightly over.

My experience with them is they are very good at shipping, great at grading, most have a good personality. But they have very high prices on a lot of comics but some of them will work with you

You know I am not one to purchase mystery boxes. However if all of them are similar with for raw books all autographed and one slab guaranteed autograph at a 9.8 it actually may be worth the purchase
That's an awesome mystery box but i can't imagine that every box is similar. Did they just purposely give you a great box knowing they'd get publicity with you unboxing on a video? The unboxings I've seen other people get haven't been that good.

@lerak I didn't ask for this. They sent it to me on their own accord. No reason to take an accusatory and salty tone on my channel. And because this was gifted to me, I'm already giving away a number of the books.
@@JernosComicsPopCulture nothing salty. I just expressed about how nice it must be to be privileged enough to receive a gift like that being a RUclipsr. It's a nice free gift. I know you didn't ask for it. Many people wouldn't even receive a gift like that. You should be happy.

@@SuperGamer-mt5oc So I have "for sale" inventory already, and I will be adding inventory from my PC to that, but honestly, I haven't had time yet because I've been out of town for roughly the last two weeks. I suggest doing a few things. One, follow me on IG because I do plan on doing claim posts there. Follow me on Whatnot (if you have the app), because that is still the place where I will be doing most of my sales, at least for now. But lastly, you can shoot me an email (captainjernocomics@gmail.com) if you have a specific list that you can send me. It may take time for me to reply as I have dozens of inquiries though.

While i do like torpedo comics, they have some great mystery box contests and stuff, like most mystery boxes they tend to be more costly than what you end up getting, even though ive had great experiences with them and even won one of their prizes the time i ordered the mystery box, paying $100 for their big box is a little to costly for the average person, while the $25 one is cheaper it does tend to have more modern stuff in it that doesnt really average out for the costs after shipping and stuff, but again nothing but great experience with them the one time i got one of their boxes lol
Torpedo sucks . Way over priced plus they burned do many people on there mystery boxes . They also ripped off the graded backing board idea from Rob the man behind the red hood comics . 👎
I can't speak on any of that for I have never purchased anything from them. As for the backing board, I think this is something that more people should adopt.
