Great live video. I remember up here where we live in Canada, Walmart seemed to be the first one who started raising food prices.

Great show! Really enjoyed this, also it’s cliche but I’m very grateful for my lovely family and my kids health

There's a heck of a lot of pandemic RUclips content that inadvertently manipulated the market. There are still shows that feature ghost books and spec lists that drive people into FOMO. That's not the creators' problem, but it's how our minds work. The big problem though was the big shows giving their price forecasts. A lot of well known channels were saying things like "the price of this book is going to explode when Character A shows up in a movie next year." It was irrational speculation.

40 years is a long time out, and a lot can change in that period- both in the comic book world and the world as a whole. Will there still be Marvel movies then? Many characters will have entered the public domain, how will that affect the kinds of content we see? How will today's comic book movies be looked at by people then? Does Endgame become a revered classic like 2001 A Space Odyssey or The Godfather, or is it seen as a product of a "dark age" of cinema? What macroeconomic, global, sociocultural factors affecting collecting will be at play? Will having many physical possessions be a luxury only the rich can afford?
I do think, if comic book collecting is still around, it's very likely that the types of books people like will have changed significantly. Maybe that means moving away from superheroes and into other genres, or maybe it means some of the current popular heroes fall out of favor and make way for others, or maybe it just means Hulk 180 is more expensive than 181 now, whatever. My point is, enjoy collecting for what it is now, because it's incredibly difficult to make predictions for that far in the future. Glad to see you back and healthy!

I know I sound like a broken record, but it's important to reiterate: we are in a recession, and it's likely to worsen before the end of the year. Don’t just take my word for it-consider what Warren Buffet, Economic Ninja, Robert Kiyosaki, and others are saying. They all predict that we are heading toward one of the worst economic downturns since the Great Depression. For comic collectors, there is a silver lining. If you have the disposable income, you will find key comics available at prices significantly below their fair market value.

Yeah did you see how the market opened today? I just lost practically all of my gains in the last two days. I agree with you here, outside of calling new lower prices "below" FMV, because if the prices drop, then current FMV drops, so technically they would still be paying a "FMV." If they are blue chip keys or silver age stuff, then of course those have more opportunity to trend upward in the future.
