80's-90's is most of my collection, going to read some of that Hulk and F4 this summer with my Son. I loved the struggle between Banner and the Hulk as they fought for control over mind and body.

Anti Hero pile. Love it. Great jersey. That signed book. Wondering if you could cut off the front cover and frame it. It might make a great gift for one of your friends or something to hang on your wall if you have room. Those small comics are cool. People love horror comics and these are super cool. I think from 60s or 70s. Definitely something to bring to a show and put out for $5 each. I think it would make people stop and look at your table or both. I love Dead On Dave. I have now subscribed to him. If I am ever out there I will stop at his store. He seems like a nice guy. Omg just got to the point in your video with the wedding couple. Take it as a wedding gift. I could see that coming. Kudos to you for that. DC war. They sell pretty good these days at the antique mall especially the Sgt Rock ones. Great video Mike. I love miss Tree. Private eye stuff. She kicks butt. Mike check out the Batman vs the FBI book. One of my favorites. And the golden age Batman. That will look good on your wall. Great video

700 comics for $280 is a deal. I probably have around 1k and don't have much space to store them but it still annoys me for days when I miss a good auction on ebay for example. I personally have started going digital. It can become addictive collecting comics, sports cards (around 20k) , etc and is never ending. Also most people are trying to turn a profit making it rare to find good deals compared to the time invested.

There are so many great comics there! Camelot 3000 isn't just a whacky premise, it's actually a genuinely great read. Those Walt Simonson Thor comics are really good too. If I were you, I'd go through those Valiant books and pick out all of the pre-unity issues. The print runs on them were low so if there's ever nostalgia for Valiant (it could happen ha!) they're going to be worth something, and they're also great reads too!

Is the detective comics 182 Batman not worth like 100-150 even in this condition? Lowest sold loose was 275 and it was a bit rough. Just curious.
I don’t know a ton about comics and found a buy I could purchase some education.
I purchased 5 long boxes and a 5 short boxes for about 550 with the same as what you have. A few hundred Archie and cartoon comics. About 2 long boxes of independent stuff from the 90s a short box with stuff from the 60-70s and the rest was 79-91. Alone of the alpha flight, uncanny, amazing spiderman, Batman, DC and marvel stuff mostly. Some weird stuff as well.
I kept the older stuff, listed and sold. Got about half my money back. The other stuff I set up at my garage sale for 1.00/ book or 15/10$ 45/25$
I think I sold a little over 2 long boxes that day. I bulked the rest out to one guy at .15 or 20 cents per comic and he bought everything.
Was a great experience and learned a ton! Def have a better appreciation for it.

I understand completely what you mean! That is the main reason I would pick up the packs from Toys 'R' Us when I could. That is where a big bulk of my collection came from. If I got doubles (we all know I got plenty of them) I would take them them to school to try and trade. Grant it there was like maybe 5 boys in the whole school that was into comics. We had a blast talking and trading comics when we could. Also I how I would get most my cards too. I'd trade 1 comic for a stack of cards. What fond memories I have of that. That's for the trip down memory lane Mike.

    Those are mini-comics
Their packaging literally said "great trick or treat or kids parties ideas. 3 comics. 6 of each. 18 mini-comics"
They were published in 1976 and the whole pack was originally sold for 98 cents
I've seen prices for these all over the map. A sealed set of all 18 for $25 while a single comic CGC grade 9.9 was $300. So I have no clue what to price it at. Sorry I couldn't help more

They were put out by Whitman comics Publishing Company out of Syracuse N.Y. later they moved to Rochester NY, finally in Binghamton N.Y. They started as Dell, went to Gold Key, then Whitman I collected the T.V. and horror and Sci-fi and comics they put out. There was Doctor Spector, Outer limits, Star Trek, Space Family Robinson Lost in Space, Dark Shadows, Twilight Zone, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Adam -12, U.F.O., Hey the D.C. well you get the idea and they were put out as yes featured they 100 pg giants were sold at Walmart, have many I love
Those small a Twilight Zone and Ripley 's Believe it or not, were inserts in there 3 packs and I love those those D. C. , and Avengers and avengers characters, Fantastic Four, I like those 90's
All the Superman and Batman Comics, ooh that Batman Detective is Wall material, and yeah loved Static, Doctor Solar, yeah you got a fantastic deal MIKE, I am the same way when I am fortunate enough to get out and buy like that it is an awesome feeling, I bought almost a whole collection last year at the town wide flea market in Schoharie N.Y. .He had a mixture of bronze
And few silver and then copper and then I guess 90's must be zinc well I got them for $20 Dollars a box, he said he was getting up there in age and was tired of moving them, I spent 180.00
For the six boxes, for I couldn't give him so little. What a job that was switching them over to new bags and boards , listing them , well you know what am I going on for!!! By the way in another video you asked about your phone, works like a charm, Lad!!! GaryBailey KingofDarkness and God of Thunder and Lightning ⚡ ⚡ 🌩️⚡🌩️🌩️🌩️🌩️🌩️⚡⚡⚡

Those little mini comics were published by Gold Key/Western Publishing. They're listed in the Overstreet Price guide in the 'Promotional' Section under 'Dan Curtis Giveaways'. They're reprints, but they're pretty cool. Great haul, a lot of interesting stuff! As a Maple Leaf fan, I will try not to hold it against being a Bruin Fan. It appears the Leafs are going to lose to them AGAIN. Sigh.

  • @AnthonyOldhandGarcia

At 9:55, see if you can spot Ray Finkle in the team picture? Lol 😆.
Very nice collections there, saw a couple of comics i have in my personal collection and some i used to have growing up in the early '90s.
That pawn shop in Connecticut, is cool to have comics there unlike the pawn shops here in NYC where i was told they don't deal with comic books at all which is unfortunate.
That golden age Batman Detective Comics stands out the most to me out of the bunch because of it's rich history and condition it's in, which says alot about how fortunate it is to be a comicbook collector.
Not only to enjoy the hobby but to appreciate it especially when it's a raw comicbook to be read other than it being slabbed and encased, sure to preserve the book in it's entirely, but then again how else one comicbook collector can even enjoy to hold such a raw book like a golden age comic to actually experience it?
Don't slab it but display it raw nicely away from sunlight to where it can be decently preserved in a way it can be appreciated.
    Cool review.

That's awesome to see that many comic books in a pawn shop. I've never seen comic books at a pawn shop before and you came out with a whalers Jersey. Fantastic finds. Mike
