My mind is set on moving to Alaska after graduating from college, it is nice to know about some of the places there, hopefully, I will be able to explore some of these places when I do.
I would suggest visiting during the winter first. The cold and dark can do a number on people. You can also find work up here through coolworks that provide housing its usually seasonal for the summer.

Those brown bears are very special brown bears. They are called Grizzly bears. They have a humpon the shoulders and are absolutely intimidating large bears. I wish to see them fishing in the fall for the feasts before they hibernate..

I have been to Hawaii, Cali, Florida, NYC, everywhere pretty much in the USA but In my opinion Alaska takes the cake any day of the week. I was absolutely blown away with its beauty and anxiously await another visit

Nice presentation, although mostly limited to coastal areas around the South and South-Central coastline of the state. So how about adding a few more places to the list, like the Arctic Nat'l Wildlife Refuge, Lake Clark Nat'l Park, Fairbanks, even Barrow and Nome etc.?
Fairbanks isn’t much to see besides chena hot springs, but yeah I was expecting a little more because there’s so many of here beautiful places to see here.

I love your videos. Touropia is put together superbly with photography, dialog and music. I am a lifelong Alaskan and a note is at 2:25 that clip is NOT Anchorage or anywhere in Alaska. Also, 2:55 is not in Alaska. Those boats are nothing like what you will see in any Alaskan harbor.

I’ve grown up in anchorage Alaska my whole life and always love to travel to Fairbanks and the Brooks Range with my family every year it’s so beautiful 😊❤

After seeing the video, had to chuckle a few times. NOT ON ACCOUNT OF THE VIDEO!!!!! Actually, tip of the hat. After living in AK for 26+ years, I admit it was rather refreshing to hear "Kenai" pronounced correctly. LOL! "Kee-nigh"...BINGO! Lost count of how many times I've heard about places such as the "Kennaye Peninsula", "Tock Junction" instead of "Tok" and the city of "Sea-ward" instead of "Seward". One humorous note was I had someone from the states ask me once on the phone, "So...You guys have coffee all the way up there?" (I didn't have the heart to say that the grocery store was about 2.5 down the highway.)
Recommendation to everyone to get to the Interior twice: Once in July and once in January. That way you can say you know what it's like to feel the mercury take an average of about 135F swing in the same spot on a yearly basis. Also recommend, if possible, plan 2-4 weeks to visit. Between the North Slope, Anchorage, Bethel, Fairbanks and Juneau, literally 5 different planets were just listed. On another humerous note, one time I flew on a commercial jetliner from Fairbanks to Juneau...90+ minutes in the air and that was a little less than halfway across the state. The place is huge...and that was the short way. Love the airport approach in Juneau. The way to land a jet in Juneau from FBX is to look for the large red and white checkerboard painted in the mountains, make a sharp turn then DIVE...FAST. If you do not, you just missed the runway.
Some things pretty wild not mentioned include the number of small planes which leave cities and fly into the mountain and simply disappear. Another is the number of bodies on McKinley...Many try to summit every year, some don't make it. Another is the Dalton Highway (414 miles). Can't verify it but it's described as "for every mile, there's a body".
@@howarddamico1237 Heard another cool one. In Anchorage, there's "KENI" radio (AM). Their traffic report helicopter is called the "Keen Eye in the sky". That's cool. (I'm guessing it's still that way. That was as of the 80s.)

Now I'm chuckling again since I used to live in Worcester County, MA. And then I REALLY have to chuckle because I also just recently saw someone with a username of "Ronnie McDonnie". HAHAHA! Used to pick on that Bostonian accent by saying how we were gonna, "Pahk my cah in the pahking lawt and go over to McDawnald's and get a Quartah Poundah."
I should add to that how obtaining one of those was "wicked hahd". PFFF!!!!!
