Gifted country in terms of nature. Its beauty is majestic. I was in Alberta and got asked what can I say about Canada, I said it's probably the nearest thing to heaven I've ever seen. Been to 25 countries.

I've lived abroad and heard many people say that they'd love to live in another country, but NOT me.....I feel BLESSED to have been born here. There are a few more hidden gems missing from this list.....Prince Edward Island, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Labrador and St. John's Newfoundland. I HIGHLY recommend these places, but especially Halifax. Of all the cities I've lived in and visited on this planet, Halifax has got to be the most exciting little city I've seen anywhere. It's laid-out for partying and exploring.....Row after row of downtown pubs and restaurants, theaters, parks, universities, cruise lines, military, etc, etc It's very large for under 1/2 million people....but has an atmosphere that's unbeatable.
I am so glad to be Canadian, no one can convince me that this isn't one of the greatest countries in the world. My favorite thing to learn about in Canada is the Indigenous cultures. The Indigenous Canadians have the most interesting stories and the most unique traditions in the country. Long live Canada.

Not only is Montreal a beautiful city, its numerous parks and bike paths bring a feeling of country side. It would be important to mention the many festivals Montreal hosts and the diversity of ethnic groups that makes it an international attraction by itself. Montreal has a unique pulse, a free spirit where people celebrate life.
I think Canada is also a great place to view the Aurora! It's an incredible phenomenon, when I first saw it I was mind blown and at the same time also so deeply moved by the beauty that I teared.. I'd recommend it as a bucket list to do in your lifetime if you can ❤
One place that is not listed here that I really enjoyed: Prince Edward Island! Such a beautiful small province, and Confederation Bridge is an engineering marvel.
PEI is often over looked. Except for the tourist $$ brought in, I prefer the peace and quiet, when tourists go home. People sometimes ask: 'What is your favourite beach?' My answer is the one at the bottom of a clay road, where no one goes, and I can unleash my dog. We are becoming known as a food destination. Food is fresh, unpretentious and always local.
It was about 20 years a go now it’s mostly shopping. If you want parks and mountains either jasper or Waterton is a much better use of your time and money. Keep coming back, we love visitors 😁

When I was 16, I visited my American maternal aunt who lived in Canmore with her Aussie husband. I got to visit Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper. Little did I know that nearly 35 years later I would discover that my paternal side had settled in Quebec and Nova Scotia in the 1600s. One day I would love to explore those two provinces as well as Vancouver Island where my aunt moved to.

As someone who lives in British Columbia, Canada I sometimes forget how beautiful it is here and I take it for granted. Although Canada truly is a majestic country, I think the same can be said about America. I went on a road trip to Yellowstone through Idaho, and Montana and it's absolutely beautiful there as well.
I've been to Canada last year and it was legit my most amazing travel so far. I think you could also have added Ottawa to the list because this city was amazing! I loved everything about it, from my hostel, to the building as well as the overall vibe of the city. I really hope the Covid situation will get better soon so I can go on a Roadtrip crossing the whole country because everything looks truly wonderful

This video was definitely the "short version" of where to visit in the country. For instance, the whole Atlantic Coast is very scenic, not just Cape Breton Island. And there are many National Parks in the Rockies that join Banff and are just as scenic. And they left out the entire Yukon and the rest of the Arctic, which is half the country, and it actually gets fairly warm there in the summer.

I live in the Canadian Rockies and can confirm that it's one of the most beautiful places in the world to live! I've also lived in Vancouver and would recommend just to visit.. It's crazy expensive and all the sights are overcrowded and it gets worse every year!

In Whistler, the Peak-to-Peak gondola doesn't take you from the village to the peak, it takes you from the peak of Blackcomb Mountain to the peak of Whistler mountain, a distance of 4 km across the valley. An awesome engineering feat.
It is mostly peaceful in the streets, just don't come to a hockey game, which is played in leagues for all ages in every city, town and village in the country, the NHL being the top professional league, even American NHL teams have mostly Canadian players. At a hockey game, you will see just how rough, tough, and sometimes "mean" Canadians can be !

In Whistler, the Peak-to-Peak gondola doesn't take you from the village to the peak, it takes you from the peak of Blackcomb Mountain to the peak of Whistler mountain, a distance of 4 km across the valley. An awesome engineering feat.

It is mostly peaceful in the streets, just don't come to a hockey game, which is played in leagues for all ages in every city, town and village in the country, the NHL being the top professional league, even American NHL teams have mostly Canadian players. At a hockey game, you will see just how rough, tough, and sometimes "mean" Canadians can be !
@Paul Thomas ----I actually agree with your statement about the "un-friendly" part, but for some reason lots of foreigners say the opposite.
Canada is such a stunning place. We recently visited the Rockies and it was incredible. Hope to visit Atlantic Canada soon 😊
