I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. It will be 4 years next month since I lost my Daddy. He was my best friend, had he lived 3 more months he would have met my future wife.
That's awesome hope my daughter finds a video of mine one day too.being on stage is so wonderful, beyond words which I'm sure your father knew.so glad you found it.take care God Bless.....
Hello I really do appreciate you for being a big fan, thank you for your wonderful comments on my post,it really means a lot to me.I sincerely hope you never stop listenin to my music…..🤗❤
I'm not sure if that is the wonderful Nashville session guitarist BRUCE DEES that comes "prancing"(lol) out at 2:24 to absolutely HANDLE that epic=sweet 🎸 solo(?). 🤔 That's who performed the 1983 album version. BD is a "thicker" man, that looks more like Ernest Hemingway, facially. 🤷♂️ ..Sure does *sound* like him/it !! 👍👍
I wish and so do many of my friends that they would put back here on you tube the part where Ronnis sang I'ts only rock and roll but I like it. I loved it so very much, we all did.

My dad is playing background keys for Ronnie. He passed away in November, I'm so thankful I found this!
I played guitar with him at church for a few years.

I’m so sorry for that
The whole Austin city limits concert is here on RUclips
The Milsap Master in his mighty prime! One of the great songs of the 80's that deserves more attention today.
Legendary song with a legendary bad ass guitar solo
I remember seeing the video on MTV. 😆
Yeah I really want to know what kind of superstrat he is actually playing. Looks like a fender headstock.
Great pop tune from a country icon. Ronnie's vocals are so on point. A+.

Would you upload Ronnie Milsap's full Austin City Limits performance from 1987, originally uploaded by Charles Leck?
Goodnes no
Damn, incredible.
Is that a Rhodes or wurlitzer?
Rhoads I think.
