My dad is playing background keys for Ronnie. He passed away in November, I'm so thankful I found this!

I played guitar with him at church for a few years.

I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. It will be 4 years next month since I lost my Daddy. He was my best friend, had he lived 3 more months he would have met my future wife.

The Milsap Master in his mighty prime! One of the great songs of the 80's that deserves more attention today.

Yeah I really want to know what kind of superstrat he is actually playing. Looks like a fender headstock.

Great pop tune from a country icon. Ronnie's vocals are so on point. A+.

I'm not sure if that is the wonderful Nashville session guitarist BRUCE DEES that comes "prancing"(lol) out at 2:24 to absolutely HANDLE that epic=sweet 🎸 solo(?). 🤔 That's who performed the 1983 album version. BD is a "thicker" man, that looks more like Ernest Hemingway, facially. 🤷‍♂️ ..Sure does *sound* like him/it !! 👍👍

I wish and so do many of my friends that they would put back here on you tube the part where Ronnis sang I'ts only rock and roll but I like it. I loved it so very much, we all did.

Would you upload Ronnie Milsap's full Austin City Limits performance from 1987, originally uploaded by Charles Leck?
