This guy had all odds stacked against him in life. Born near blind at birth, abandoned by his mother. Raised in poverty, had his remaining vision literally slapped out of him by worker at a blind orpanage when a teen. Went on to marry a gorgeous woman, have a family. Oh, and became one of the biggest music icons ever, won 6 grammys, had 35 number 1 hits, a double platinum album, a platinum album, 7 gold albums and was inducted into the country music hall of fame.
