My husband and i live in a metropolitan city in Canada and we did extensive research before going with this car. It was between CX5 and this one. It came down to style and size for us. We loved its sporty design over the cx5 for the price. Got jet black mica GS trim with luxury package (which will be equivalent to preferred package in the US market) everything is similar but we have heated steering wheel(crucial for Canadian winter lol) wireless charging, touchscreen and wireless android auto but no other interior colour option at this trim level in Canada only black leatherette. I think its such a bargain!! Its been over a month now and yes you are right, it looks luxurious, it feels luxurious and we get alot of compliments on it. No regrets here.
Beautiful car. I prefer the small Mazda screens over the huge Subaru screens. Mazda has more old school buttons. The Mazda joystick is safer. I rented the CX30 last summer and the leatherette seats look amazing and your body sticks to it like glue on tight turns. Unfortunately that sticky seat means sweaty buns. The leatherrete just does not breath well . I wish the seats had a ventilation button.
I drove a rental as well a couple years ago. Not sure if it was a CX-3 or a CX-30. It was a really good car but personally the little screen and lack of a touch functionality drove me nuts. It was the only thing about the car I didn't like.
I bought a a cx30 premium package and the only difference was the intuitive headlights, auto rain windshield wipers, wireless charging, shifter paddles, and the power lift tail gait. the rest is exactly the same. just pay $2k more for those extras that I don't think I need. I drove the crosstrek and corolla cross... they are ok cars.. but really I dont like their plastic interiors, looks cheaply made. I didn't like the crosstrek, huge screen, it is distracting.. I love my Mazda interior because is elegant and feel like a luxurious ride for a really great price!

I ❤ MAZDA
Beautiful! My choice but with dark interior, don’t trust light seats with staining.

@@scittw22 The mazda names are confusing. CX5 is larger than cx3 and cx30 but smaller than cx50 which drives me nuts LOL
