I appreciate your content my friend. I respectfully disagree on a lot of what you said. The biggest being: For $59 or for $45 for that matter, you should be able to take off the case however you want, and it's up to the manufacturer to make this "super thin, super light" case constructed in a way that makes it easy enough to do that. Caudabe Sheath comes off just fine no matter how you take it off, and that case, simply on price AND features, is a better value.
It’s all good but you can’t compare the sheath vs Pitaka or Latercase. Completely two different style cases with different style material, vastly different materials. Not saying these cases are for everyone but like I said in the video, as long as you know the shortcomings then it’s solid.

Just hoping there's consistency here, and speaking solely on price...not materials.

For $45 why are their even defects? It takes 5 seconds to test out what they are shipping out. They kinda just exposed themselves for not testing their own products before shipping.

I love my Latercase. Had them for multiple phones. I'm not easy on my phones either. Sure it's no Otterbox for protection but I've dropped phones and the case definitely took the hit and the phone was fine. I do love the feel of these cases too. So nice to hold. Plus the look is just awesome. Everyone asks about it when I pull out my S22 ultra or iPhone 13 Promax.
I love my cases and I also respect my case reviewers. They are here to keep case makers honest. For this, we owe them, such as Technically Tee a certain loyalty. However, I do not trust a case where you have to pull it off a certain way to keep from breaking it. After all, it is supposed to protect devices that cost as much as a down payment of a new car. Another thing is that do you think for one hot second if this happened to a customer they would have replied all personal like?

Pitaka just came out with the Fusion Weaving Air Case. Looks cool but it’s $69. I’m sure they will be sending you one. BTW great video, I’ve had a few Latercase’s and I like them a lot.
I also had a defect on my cyber edition for my 13 pro max. The top left corner would pop off on its own. Same story as you ... 3 of the 4 corners fit great as expected.
Just got my iPhone 14 pro max latercase. Love it. It looks like the lip above the screen protector may have increased a bit. It extends a bit higher on the 14 than the one I saw in the video. One area I wish they would extend the coverage is on the top and bottom but I’ll take it. I love the look and feel of the case. It is grippier than I expected. The camera cover of the latercase is what sets it apart from the the alternatives.
This whole thing is pretty entertaining… I’ll say this, when you make a business decision you have to follow it through. Sometimes that means things don’t turn out as planned. That’s what happened here, it’s not easy, when you hear Pitaka talk about the amount of testing hours they put in, that’s real, those are facts. We know this when we look at the products and begin to use them, I don’t know everything about the technology but it definitely seems like Pitaka is very good quality and are putting in a lot of time into development. The Latercase uses Dupont but they also need to choose a design and make decisions on quality control. It’s basically a startup going through startup pains. You just can’t expect the same level of quality, even if they were using the exact same manufacturing process.
A lot of missing iPhone 13 mini cases as slim version. My first experience was One Plus where the case was greatly slim and after that got Pitaka for iPhone X. Was amazingly slim and as well gave protection. Now I'm always going for Slim case. Since iPhone 13 mini missing for so many then finally found the Latercase and gonna give a try. I agree with Unbox Therapy that phone case should be slim. I really don't like how many case manufactures makes the phone so much bigger after case applied.
Late to the game, but I just got my latercase today for my 13 mini, and I LOVE IT! Keeps the form factor of the iPhone, but with better grip. Awesome case IMO

I’m gonna try out one of these, I was using a Phone Rebel Series Gen 2. I recently dropped my phone out of my pocket and shattered the whole back and camera glass on my 12 Pro Max. Hopefully this case will protect the camera housing better. I loved my Phone Rebel case though, I wish it would of worked out better
I took of Pitaka Air Case for iPhone 11 the same way you did and it also cracked in the same spot, so yes I can 100% confirm this isn't fault of the case.
Like okay i know there's people out there who likes these kind of cases , and i know why they do. The fit , how light and minimalistic , and it feels like you're holding your regular phone with no extra weight and all that. But for me i feel like 45$ is a bit too expensive. But yes i think its better than the Pitaka's. Good vid man

Sorry but it should be durable and u should be able to remove how ever u want . I’m not saying it’s trash but obviously there is a QC issue with their production line . I wouldn’t trust a case has this issues with my 1500 usd decide . That’s my opinion .
For me 256 is the sweet spot when it comes to how much storage you get for the price. Usually I don’t install many apps onto my phone, but it’s mostly gonna be photos or videos that fill up my storage.. 😂

I've never seen someone selling out so publicly and so blatantly. Your first review it's what a review it's supposed to do. Clean, honest, informative. This here is a PR stunt in favor of Latercase and Unbox Therapy. My man, this is hard to watch. You bending over like this, reversing everything from the first honest review of the case. That $45 (plus shipping) is a completely rip of. 60% of the side of a $1200 phone is uncovered. Flimsy, poor packaging and poor quality. The only good thing in the camera cut out. You should regret making reviews like this one. First one was an honest job, this is a paid PR stunt.

The Brown version and Willy Blu versions both have a better grip feel than the standard black latercase.

Kevlar aramid is used to stop a bullet. You snapped it by applying pressure. Not posible if in fact it was Kevlar
