Great tutorial. Unbelievable to know how to use controls and servo correctly. And yes buy Metal cased servo, all the plastic cases break ears off and crack. Great job a must watch video to properly set your crawler up!❤
I have the ogrc servo and it is a better bang for the buck than the lgrp tremor, injora 11kg, reefs 99, nsdrc 100, mofo servobeast. I also have some glider plane servos that are really good. K power dmc809 and gx1306 servos are great for the price. I also like the injora 7kg servos because they are $20 a piece and they are made for trx4m steering but they work for Scx24 with an adjustable servo mount. There are all kinds of different options when you have time to do the research. But OGRC servo is a no brainer if you have $40 and want a big boy servo
Have not been able to find an aftermarket servo yet that fits a fcx24 properly so it can be used. The upper link mount hits the back side of every single high end aluminum case servo available on any adjustable servo mount available for sale.
@@TheShopMiniRC The servo case is just to large to shim it backwards because it hits the upper servo links & mount. And if I shim the servo forwards it sits too far forward & the steering link is at a 45° angle & binds the steering. I have tried everything I can & that is why I was hoping to see exactly how you got this exact same OGRC servo to fit into a FMS - FCX24 chassis. Do you have a video on how to mount this OGRC servo into a stock FMS - FCX24 chassis?
@@TheShopMiniRCI have already purchased a NEXX Racing & Rampcrab FCX24 adjustable servo mount & they are both the same & will not allow the OGRC servo to be mounted being the servo is simply too large. If you took the OGRC servo out of your SCX24 & try mounting it into a FCX24, you will see exactly what I am talking about it being to large to mount. Please make a video & it will show I am telling you the truth that the OGRC servo does not work with an FCX24 adjustable servo mount.
Hm, i really wonder (because you did not show and you move around so fast that its not possibel to see any details without stopping the video) how you mounted this servo to this mount because the holes clearly dont match. I just sit here with a Mofo Servo Mount and an AGF-RC A20CLS SERVO (both same dimensions) and wonder what to do. The screwholes on the mount do not match the mounting holes in the servo, they reach somehow into the slot between them but its not possible to securely mount it with that, also although the mount is adjustable the distance between those sideparts is wider than the width of the servo so even more important to have perfectly fitting holes.
Add some washers to the center mount. I’ve also mounted some just using the center mount and it works fine. Try to get creative in how you mount it if needed. With these little guys there are generally many ways to do the same thing. Hell, I even have a rig where the servo doesn’t even sit totally flush to the bottom on the servo tray (it floats about 2-3mm above and has a gap) but that rig is a beast and I’ve never had servo/steering issues
@@TheShopMiniRC Will find a way. When i buy a strong servo i want to mount it properly, yes i have seen that mounting on the two bottom holes (on the original plastic mount) and thus not sitting on the base - which would give the needed support. It would be easy for a manufacturer to make matching side posts for that mount - not easy for me, cutting that and cutting 1,4 mm threads.
@@TheShopMiniRC how exactly do I do that ? Is it best to watch a video on it haha. I’ve think I’ve got that new injora esc for the trx4m the mb100 or whatever it’s called
@@aarontowle9486 I don’t think you can adjust the voltage on that. Hmmm. You can try plugging into a different esc/rx and see if it still shakes. If so, you might have a bad servo. :-/
Hey brother i tried 2 different emaxx servos from my scx24s on my trx4m bronco both were browning out and got real hot people keep telling me they will work ?
Odd. I haven’t had any issues with my emaxx servos really (other than being weak compared to higher end servos.) But, to be fair, I haven’t tried an emaxx in a TRX4M yet. It’s possible the TRX4M is a higher voltage?
The servo mount does fit the stock axle mounts. The servo could fit the stock servo tray if you cut it and put spacers in the front. (I’d just get the servo mount I show.
Another quality installment 😎👌thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again.
Crazy that servo lifts the car like that. I definitely want to get upgraded servos now.
Yeppers!!

great info! Thanks for sharing.
Your duel rate/dogbone setup was super helpful. I don't suffer on fsm dogbones but scx dogbones blow out constantly. Great tip dude. Ty
Thanks. I feel like this is a common issue with newer people to crawling, and they break stuff not knowing why.

Oooo another flash crawler. Love it! Sweet vids my guy. That nexxt bike was epic. More please
Thanks a ton for watching!
So difficult to hear without turning volume right up & being deafened by ads :s
sorry, we have improved our audio in future videos.
How’s that servo holding up now?
I’m like double thinking on ordering it
It’s been working great still!!!
White servo horn club, haha.. really is a good looking cage
WSH Club is a real thing my guy! lol Ask the dudes in the GNRC live streams. ;-P
Yeah, that was the joke.
Looks like you have a killr chassis to assemble. Or Akers maybe? Niiiice

Do you kno what servo horn fits this servo? Besides the nylon white ones it comes with
It’s a 25t horn, so any of those. ;)

What tie rod/drag link setup is that? I have been looking for a steering setup with a full length drag link.

The drag isn't FULL length, but it IS longer than most.
