I just hacked off a chunk of a stock chassis to fit the mofo servo (which I love the performance of) but between the ears and the cable, it still catches a tiny bit from time to time, this solves that and I could still have mounted the bumper back on. Looks like a great option. I'm sure there is less for and aft tuneability though.
I have been running a Torq cl0508 micro in my cayman pro for months now. It seems real good fast strong and quiet. Haven't had a problem with it at all. 😊 Thanks for the vid. Cape Crawlers 🫡
You gotta test the orlandoo hunter 1/32 furitek edition. It’s 280 bucks but it’s definitely worth it I got the suv version and I’m extremely impressed with it
I just use the NSDRC RS100. It's the strongest micro servo I've seen and at $55. That's all I use. Honestly can see using anything else. Torque: 6V: 152oz/ 11kg 7.4V: 175oz/ 12.7kg 8.4V: 197oz/ 14.2kg Speed: 6V: 0.09 sec/60° 7.4V: 0.07 sec/60° 8.4V: 0.06 sec/60°
I have two rs100s on two different rigs. No complaints as well. I also just gave a mofo black label 2.0 a go on a new rig. As good as the rs100s for me with one stand out exception. The black label 2.0 sounds and feels wayyyy smoother. Even turning it by hand it's like butter compared to my rs100s. Can't go wrong with either. Probably going to by a reefs bass next for fun.
Under that price, exactly at $40, I can see this TORQ MLS-1022 - Dead Bandwidth: 3μs - Working Frequency: 1520μs / 330Hz - Operating Voltage: 5.0V - 8.4V - Motor Type: Coreless Motor - Operating Speed: · At 5.0V: 0.10 sec/60° · At 6.0V: 0.09 sec/60° · At 7.4V: 0.07 sec/60° · At 8.4V: 0.055 sec/60° - Stall Torque: · At 5.0V: 9 kg-cm (125 oz-in) · At 6.0V: 11.5 kg-cm (160 oz-in) · At 7.4V: 12.8 kg-cm (177 oz-in) · At 8.4V: 14.5 kg-cm (200 oz-in) - Dimensions: 23 x 12 x 27.5 mm (0.91 x 0.47 x 1.08 inches) - Weight: 22.0 g (0.78 oz) - Connector Wire Length: JR 170 mm (6.7 inches) - Output Gear Spline: 25T
Speaking of which...as much as I've been enjoying the longer shocks on my 24 Gladiator, I've been thinking of going with shorter shocks. 🤔 Maybe around the size of the stock shocks. What would you recommend? 🤨
What's a cheap reliable replacement motor that bolts right in to the stock scx24 ? I keep burning out the stock one s and haven't really found one that lasts a while
This servo does look pretty cool but unusable in most of my builds, I 3d print my own scale bodies and I have a couple of WTmicro bodies and they all require an adjustable servo mount to shift the servo back for clearance. It appears that this servo doesn’t have any adjustability in it which is unfortunate.
One thing that concerns me is on the website the link takes us to it shows 50 % of people who ordered units in May had them arrive with the incorrect screws and couldn’t fit them, do you know if this issue has been addressed? 😮

I like the direct mount and rear exit wires, will be trying one soon

I’ve used their servo in my scx24 Suzuki kei truck for almost two years and it’s as good as my reefs 179 servos
These servos are awesome. I picked up 4 at Axialfest Badlands...now I just have to figure out which trucks to put them in! 😁
GREAT servo, and at a killer price considering what all you get!

Direct mount is awesome as an option!
6 months in and I think my next rig will be a SCX24. Tons of After market parts.
Can't wait to see how they work!
I definitely want one
Man it just gets better and better 😃✊😎
Hey Adam! I'd really appreciate if you made a video reviewing your top picks on brushless motors and ESCs similar to the top tires videos,
Thanks!
I got the eco power version WP827-X24. It will be nice not having the ears on the side that catch badly on stock frame rails!

cant go wrong with the NSDRC or Reefs 99

No servo tray ands rear exit wires make this thing sliced bread.
I heard they don’t work with the meus axles tho…

My servo was in the same batch as yours that went out with the wrong screws! Doh!!
Going with the eco power version.
Thanks for the vid. Will this work with the MB24?
What servo do you recommend I run with the meus scx24 axles?

Any EU retailers for this?

I will ask them if it’s been addressed. I hope it has!
@@CapeCrawlers thanks brother 😎✊🤝
so should this fit my ax24 as well then? has anyone tried this?
I’ve owned one torq servo and it was a tail servo on a heli. It lasted 2 flights and they wouldn’t stand behind it so I’ll never own another one.
I shake like that every morning till i get some Coffee in me LOL
This company copied ecopower. Ecopower proved that their design came out first in a big argument on Facebook.
I found it interesting they were released almost simultaneously
@@CapeCrawlers it was said that maybe the supplier overseas leaked the design. But who knows now.
