I love the videos where mistakes are left in and not just redone perfect. It really helps people to be more aware and recognize issues or problems they otherwise wouldn't even consider. Great video, keep up the great work!!
It would of been nice if he kept his mistakes out or showed it after the process cause I had to do it twice and unnecessarily chop up my servo and tray.

Thank you for this video. It’s helped me install mine to my C10. I am super new to RC to am finding it all a bit worrying. I live in U.K. and we have very little parts for these and limited RC stores, So your channel has been very useful. Thanks.
I did this upgrade about a week ago, and made the same mistake you did, LOL ! Totally worth the upgrade, I'm now looking for the upgraded linkage to tighten up the steering. Good video, subbed !!
Thanks for the how to. I have that servo on stand by for when mine goes out. I'm thinking of getting some mini heat shrink and chopping a bunch of that servo wire down to size.
This was extremely helpful! Subscribed. Thanks for leaving the "oops" in there, helps me to be aware when I tackle this myself. Well done, thanks again. 👍
@@RC4all yeah its good! But i didnt really do it for the performance- honestly, if i could have gotten a servo that performed as well as stock (with the servo saver glued) i would be happy- Or if the stock one with glued servo saver worked bbuuttt it only took 1 session for me without the servo saver to smoke it lol
SO glad that fits without much fuss!! I also Fly... And I've got at least TEN of those EMAX 9 Gram and 12 Gram Servos lying around. I'm guessing that the 9 Gram would be the right one....
Just installed the emax servo on my scx24 and it is making this I can literally hear the metal gears ⚙️ turning. Almost like a buzzing grinding sound. I have adjusted the ST/DR and loosen up the links. Are the emax suppose to be alil louder than stock servos. The servo works fine , nice and strong , but this buzzing noise …
This helped with the installation, but I think the first Emax servo I bought's a dud. It's seizing up as well. I also ordered a new servo mount, because the servo's not sitting right either. Still a good vid.
I am a real novice trying to carefully upgrade my SCX24 Chevy C-10. I am doing pretty well w/ a lot of help from guys like you. Your video was very good. I am not sure I caught all the info on the servo. Could you tell me where to get it? EMAX ES08MAH???
RC4all I’ve managed to order the servo (thank you!) & servo tray. Do you think a replacement metal servo horn would be a good idea? I’ve been searching & searching. Really don’t know what “size” to look for. Any advice?
So I put 2 new Emax servo in my SCX24, zero'd it out. But once in a while, the servos like to glitch and go almost full lock on one side, and I trim it to full capacity and the servo still shifts to one side. How can I fix this, and there is something doing wrong?
Hello, I'm thinking of doing this because I've had mine for a day and when I steer it will just freeze and not move until I hit it myself. I'm wondering if this can be fixed or if I should just buy a new servo.
Is there a reason you didn't just cut the extra hole of the single servo horn and round it off instead of cutting the three other bits off and making it kind of round.
Hello im having a problem with my servo upgrade and i tried 2 servos the thing is it turns more to the left side than the right any one had the same issue?

Just did this on mine last week, but Hot Racing now makes an aluminum servo mount to put those EMax servos in these trucks!
Nice, that’s good to know 👍🏼 thanks for watching
thanks for the perfect breakdown, made it very easy and straight forward! tons of information under 10 minutes!

It’s pretty easy to open up the servo unsolder the wire, shorten it the resolder it back.
Good idea 👍🏼
Thanks for showing this. Cape Town, South Africa.
Great video man. Straight to the point, perfect music
Thank you 👍🏼
Thanks for the info! I wanted to make sure I was going to be doing it right.
Thanks just used this to fit mine saved me a load of time! 😊
Awesome 👍🏼
Im literally doing this today with the same servo because i just smoked my servo. Lol
Nice, it’s definitely a better performing servo 👍🏼

I love this servo I bought like 6
Are the long screws you used to put the servo in included with the SCX24 box?
Dad has just ordered some of these servos for ours
Very cool, they are much stronger than the factory ones.
Hello, I have a question. Do you have the characteristics of Horn size and number of teeth and if there is a horn in aluminum? Thanks
Mmmm not sure on that one. Just do a Google search on aluminum horn for Axial scx24. Hopefully that helps

The screws on the servo hit the bumper mount causing the suspension to be unable to compress, is there a fix?
I bought the $15 aluminum servo tray cause it's purdy 😁
Thanks for sharing your knowledge 👍👍👍👍
PowerHD TR-4 digital servo falls right in. forget the emax

I did this upgrade and it is much more powerful but it rubs on the frame rails even after using a file on it

How did you know that you placed the servo the wrong way?
Once we tested it, we could tell something wasn’t right 🤣 thankfully it was an easy fix.
Is there a reason you didn't just cut the extra hole of the single servo horn and round it off instead of cutting the three other bits off and making it kind of round.
You could probably do that as well. We just decided to use the new piece. Thanks for watching
Thanks for the how-to! I’m going to upgrade my servo but wonder if I should use the ES08MD or ES08MA. Digital vs analog?
Which one did you figure out is better?
Servo Horn spline count?
cool the vides
I’m doing it to my Jeep. But it does not go back all the way in the servo holder.
👍🏼
Does the emax plug straight in the esc?
Yes it does
how do you center cervos.. my stock cervos is twitching and constantly turning left
To get it perfectly centered you need sub trim, which the stock radio doesn’t provide. Without sub trim the servo will be slightly off, it’s normal.
Wow good video👍👍👍
Nice
Hello im having a problem with my servo upgrade and i tried 2 servos the thing is it turns more to the left side than the right any one had the same issue?
try taking off the servo arm and making sure the servo is centered then reassemble
Thanks so much for showing how it's done. Is this the emax es08mdii model? I subbed.
Yes it is 👍🏼
