Hey, family is family.
Katie Burak and how they are “murderers” even though they killed a bunch of murderous cannibals
Heather didn't actually kill anybody
Do love how James gives respect to actors and actresses that have passed away after the production of the movie
good guy jame
This movie bothered the hell out of me not just because she didn’t bother to read the note and then teamed up with her psychotic cousin after he brutally murdered all her friends. But it’s shit like having a Trey Songz song in the background while Trey Songz is in the movie playing a completely different character.
I hate this shit, the Mayor and tht other guy did bacicly nothing except shoot a bunch of actual murderers.
Reminds me of when Mad Child released his vape juice, and the store I was working at had him visit for the release. Nothing but Mad Child was playing and when it finally stopped when the customers left he was like “thank god that’s over” lol he hated hearing himself.

I love how the movie acknowledges that people in Texas pack heat with the Welcome to Texas line but then entirely ignored that fact as Leatherface is running around the Texas state fair.
That made no sense. Maybe the producers thought shooting scenes in a carnival would be cool?
Imagine the Halloween equivalent:
*Laurie Strode tosses a knife into Michael's window at Smith's Grove Sanitarium*
Laurie: "Get 'em bro!"
*Michael Myers proceeds to slash his way out*
Dr. Loomis: *surprised Pikachu face*
Given what Michael Myers put Laurie through, that would be completely out of character for her to not only be suddenly okay with his actions, but also flat out team up with him too.
@@dianakosianka5344 Yet that's exactly what Alexandra Daddario's character did after Leatherface butchered her friends and nearly killed her. Lol.
And I know that Laurie would never do that. Simply because Halloween is a superior film in almost every way, including writing and the realistic actions the characters take.

You could say that killing the mother was bad but it seemed as if she was gonna die anyways, not saying it was a mercy killing however, he wanted her dead and that's the only reason he did that.
What I don't like about this film is that they show the Sawyers to be the good guys and the people who murdered these cannibals are shown to be the actual villains, wtf
it would make a lil sense if heather shows her psycho potential in the early movie but nope

“The woman with the baby who was killed 40 years ago. That baby of course is 27 year old Alexandria”
James, you kill me 😂
Not unusual to see someone clearly in late 20s early 30s play teens, think this is 1st time I've seen one play someone who should be 40+
I mean, a lot of people don't show signs of aging until late in life. Though, there are others who probably don't age that well naturally. Just look at several asians, Kate Beckinsale, and such. I think, so don't quote me on this, Kate is already over 50 by a decent amount and looks like she is in her 20s. My own aunt, who is over 50 herself, is just now starting to show signs of aging. That's the weirdness of genetics for you.
CyberianFaux Actually, Kate Beckinsale is 45, lol.
@@nightflyer777 Thank god I gave the disclaimer that I wasn't sure off of the top of my head. Either way, that is perfect for the age of the character in the movie then.
@@CyberianFaux good point on people who naturally look a lot younger, didn't think of that, still think it would have made more sense to get an older actress or have Alexandra play the daughter of "lost sawyer"
@@Apocalypse21187 That is also a very fair point to make. They didn't have to go with the angle they did on who the character was. Something else I just thought of is the fact of the matter that the really old sawyer was still alive. Perhaps they have really good genetics when it comes to aging to go along with what I posted earlier.
I feel like Heather developed into the villain of the story

I actually like to think the baby was actually the mother of Daddadrio, she just went to visit her grandparents who, after the mother dies probably giving birth, raise her.
Cremated the now grown baby so that's why we don't see her grave.
Conceptually, I actually like the idea behind this film. A lost member of the Sawyer family returns and discovers her heritage and is forced to side with her giant chainsaw-wielding cannibal cousin to survive a lynch mob who wants to string her up just because of who her parents were. And I don't see a problem with showing more of the sympathetic human side of Leatherface. James himself said in the first film's kill count that Leatherface was more human than the likes of Michael and Jason. That's what makes him interesting. The problem is its execution.
The original showed sympathetic elements to Leatherface with him getting scared by Sally's friends coming into the Sawyer house and showing how badly his family treats him. The problem with this film is that it portrays him as a full on good guy despite the fact that he's killing innocent people and portrays his family being killed as a bad thing even though they were cannibalistic serial killers who'd have gone on killing and eating people if they hadn't been killed so the Sawyers deserved to die.
I don’t think a sympathetic Leatherface could ever work. His whole thing is wearing other people’s faces. In the first movie it wasn’t a home invasion, the people who walked into his house needed some help if I remember correctly, and even when they run away he pulls them back into the house then tortures, butchers, and eats them. Being mentally Ill doesn’t suddenly make you sympathetic, and yes he’s pushed around by his family, but they push everyone around. And the oldest brother is kinda less evil since he’s not actually killing anyone, while Leatherface puts people on hooks and lets them bleed out. I will never understand why people feel bad for someone who wears other people’s faces.
@@thatcreepyberdinthecorner1097 Dreyton still Bossing around his other Brothers and probably will ordering his younger brothers or have his grandpa to kill for him because He said He isn’t taking Pleasure of killing
@@thatcreepyberdinthecorner1097 he's not mentally _ill_ , he's mentally _disabled_ . In the first movie, he can't talk which is why he makes those "pig snorts" and gestures a lot to communicate. After the attack, he literally runs through the house making crying noises because he doesn't understand what is happening. Same thing in the dinner scene - while his brothers are laughing and mocking Sally, he either tries to take care of the grandpa instead of leans into her with curiosity (though he also screams with her at the start).
He has the mental capabilities of a toddler (which is why a 6'5+/- man who can carry a grown ass woman with one hand literally cowers in fear in front of his older brother), said by the creator themselves, and he is being abused by his family and forced to do dirty work for them.
In the real-life, if he was born into a normal family. he would be put with a caretaker for the rest of his life because people with his developmental issues can't take care of themselves.
He was born in a family where doing things from human skin is normal, and he doesn't have the mental capacity to think for himself. The cook brother is not only able to function on an adult level but actually has a life outside the house. He had a chance to see people that were different than his family. Leatherface didn't. Also, the cook brother is the one who got Sally back to the house and is the one who abuses his mentally disabled brother. He could just let her go, he didn't. Whenever he actually deals the blows doesn't matter in this care.
The movies not THAT bad. Aside from some awful 3D effects and the fact that a baby in 1974 is only in her 20’s in 2013, this was a better sequel than 3 or 4, and the franchise was finally getting some continuity with the prequel “Leatherface”. At least we didn’t get some half assed remake of the original like every other sequel, and they actually attempted to do a little world building. I’m not going to complain about the characters because honestly their only job is to be body count, and no franchise is worse at killing random people for no reason than Friday the 13th.

It makes ur day when u see 12 year olds XD
What
Same
Yup, Fridays are already great but when he uploads, it's better
Kelly Peacock yeah best part of the week
"that 40-year-old baby is 27 year old Alexandra Daddario…."
Hollywood is dumb
That’s what I was thinking. The math doesn’t add up for me
In the movie they even make sure to keep the 19__ dates blank on the newspaper clippings lol
It’s crazy how Alexandra daddario went from movie actor to youtuber. Cool that she’s doing what she enjoys.
@alexandra daddario
The best horror movie in my opinion, I love the family teamwork at the end.
watch more movies, this movie is trash
The original 1974 puts this to shame
" To whisper meat nothings " I had to pause the video to have a good chuckle at that one
You know what everyone is forgetting? If this movie is really supposed to be in the 2010s, that makes Leatherface in his 60s or 70s. You mean to tell me a guy that old is still running around like this?
He ate a lot of human meat and that makes him hella stronger and makes him live long
If Chuck Norris can do it, Leatherface can XD
Think about it, Grandpa Sawyer was 124. Maybe old age just runs in the family.
I mean Bruce Dickinson from the band Iron Maiden almost 60 still moves a lot on stage live so as long you keep physical shape you'll be fine.
Ever heard of Ric Flair
I feel like the only reason why he killed her friends were because he probably thought they were gonna hurt him knowing that his family got murdered. It's not like hes leaving killing people he maybe feels threatened when someone is in their property.
