Adam was the best character and I personally believe that Lawrence came and rescued him and replaced him with an eerily similar lookalike. It’s believable for this series.
We see his body 2 more times after the first movie. I’m saw 2 and final chapter (I believe) but why I think he’s still alive is based on points MatPat made on film theory. His LEFT LEG was in the shackle in the first movie. Yet when we see the corpse TWICE it’s on the right leg. This movie series does so well with continuity it’s literally my favorite horror movie story line. And I don’t see them getting this simple detail wrong twice. If we don’t see a character EXPLICITLY die in these movies. They ain’t dead 😂
For anyone confused like I was at the third death at the numbers, it’s a blue girl. Reason she is blue is because she froze to death I believe, James made a funny

@@leekyboy455 Bro he literally forces them into traps where they inevitably die if they fail. He's killing them. Unless you mean the sibling saying they aren't in their room cause technically they're right
Jigsaw doesn't care if you commit crimes or not. In the first movie, he killed a guy for self harming. He killed a woman for... not knowing her husband was a liar. He puts children in danger to get back at their parents. If you have any mental illness or even know a person who doesn't line up with his fucked up morals, you're fair game.
When you're talking about the Classroom Trap, that was the whole point of the movie, Amanda made it impossible, thus making her a murderer, where as John "Jigsaw" Kramer always had a possible escape if the person was willing to fight for their life, it is what drove the stake between them and ultimately ended Amanda's life.
That's something I've noticed , small things allow us to tell who did which trap . The classroom trap was a hint , and at the end it shows why he had no escape , Amanda let's emotion control her , and won't let people win . It shows the contrast , Lynn ( think that's how it's spelt) won , and so John tells Amanda to free her , but Amanda doesn't . There's many contrasts in the traps , no matter how small
Ya know going back and seeing Amanda just kinda stupidly throw Adam's key is such a small touch to show just how little she cares about the people's survival where as for the most part what John makes is usually survivable if you "have the will to live" where as everything with Amanda and the Huffmiester is all just deadly and killer-y or a straight up slasher in the case off Huffington later
The same could be said about Troy in this film. Troy would have beaten it if it wasn't for the ring in his lower jaw that he could never break. The door being welded shut was just another insurance by Amanda to make sure that he wouldn't escape.
The point of it was to show Jeff's emotional conflict. He is rightfully angry with these people for being responsible for his kid's death. I don't get how everyone just thinks he should forgive them right on the spot
Kramer: You’re the type of person who swallows antidepressants to hide the pain Me: You’re the type of person who sticks people in devices that can kill them then runs around saying you’re not a killer
My favorite thing about watching these kill counts is hearing James rip into Jigsaw's sanctimonious bullshit. Cramer's self-rightous attitude and insistance that he's innocent while literally everyone around him is a problem is something I just can't stand when watching these movies and it honestly gets me to skip major plot points on rewatches, but thankfully hearing James call it out for the nonsense it is makes it much more watchable. EDIT: The fact that James himself called it sanctimonious bullshit a couple of minutes after I wrote this just makes it all the better.
And that so many series fans act like Kramer is so deep and like "well actually, he doesn't technically kill anybody. He just kidnaps and forces them to play a grisly game under penalty of death that at best will maim them and require a lifetime of therapy, if it doesn't horribly kill them outright. Totally different from murder."
I wonder how jigsaw justifies his reasoning for the passive participants of his game. The ones that just sit there waiting to be killed, wonder how the games make them appreciate being alive
Jigsaws logic would be that, since it's not thier game they dont deserve to fight and are just forced to be passive and wait for Jeff to come and "free" them
It might be really, REALLY stupid of him, but I think that Kramer really expected for Jeff to save all of those people. Unfortunately for his "I don't condone murder" schtick, Jeff is too egotistical to let things go and ends up killing all three.
@@joesmith2959 If you're dense, yes, you wouldn't save him, but Jeff never learned to forgive and forget. Jeff thought the guy that killed his son was as psychotic as Jigsaw, but he was just a guy that had extreme guilt over his actions and Jeff took too long to make the right decision. In the end, we're all humans who made mistakes, you can't reverse death and avenging it does little to nothing.
For a second I didn't get why at the end there was blue woman symbol (picture?) Instead of it being consistently red..and then I saw the one with her head blown off and I realized....that one was the woman who froze to death
I feel like Jeff has had some of the easiest games to play in the whole franchise. Like, your kids toys? That's it? Wasn't someone thrown into a literal pit of used syringes last movie?
L God Productions you are in the back seat of this movie you know because you aren’t the character itself jeff is written to be that way and it’s consistent throughout the whole entire movie yea we know the answers because we aren’t in the situation just like how something in real life seems easy but if you put yourself in their shoes with knowing that they aren’t stable it suddenly becomes understandable not logical but understandable

Slmfjeff is one of the most infuriating characters ive ever seen. *what the frick is saying "I forgive you" to a dead man you had every chance to save gonna do?*
Not to mention yelling at the victims of the traps--which would be fine *if they weren't in total agony like they've never experienced before and probably can't hear or make out what he's saying through their screams of terror and despair.* That kinda makes the "you suck speech" lose its edge, Jeff.
@@zs1175 They are, but that makes them all the more important to work through because of how dangerous they can be. To me, it seems like Jeff didn't make the effort to go through the grieving process properly, and instead he let the grief and rage consume him. Don't get me wrong, I can't even *begin* to imagine the pain of losing your child. A parent's love is special and sacred and something only they can really understand. But, even so, you have to keep going after you grieve properly. The world's not going to stop turning for you or for anyone. Now for a bit of a disclaimer: I haven't watched the Saw movies (I don't think I even could, not alone), what I know is from James' Kill Counts and some extra studying I did. So I could be completely wrong about it, and if I am I won't deny it. From what I understand, the movie takes place 3 years after the death of Jeff's son. *Three years,* and he still acts like the tragic event happened a week ago. It just... it looks to me that Jeff is, whether he realizes it or not, using his pain to lash out at others. Not just the trap victims, but everyone including his family. His *still-living daughter* whom he neglects and snaps at so he can continue to wallow into what has gradually turned from actual depression and mourning into self-pity. I know that sounds really harsh, especially since the grief will never really go away and this *is* a parent that's lost his own child, but holding onto the pain or worse, using it as an excuse to hurt others, is never, *ever* the right way to handle things. Yet Jeff's actions in the movie point to him doing just that. Again I could be totally wrong about this, and I'm sorry for the super-long reply. I tend to do that. A lot. I'm trying to get better at making shorter replies, even though the process has been... pretty slow so far. And it's late right now, so to heck with it. XD
Remember kids: don’t do drugs, don’t have an SO, don’t do crime, don’t be depressed, don’t cut yourself, don’t get involved with court, don’t witness any crimes, etc etc...
I felt the worst for Timothy because he’s just a kid, and you can tell from the flashbacks that he would be haunted for the rest of his life. He definitely should’ve done time for DD at best and manslaughter at worst, but he did NOT deserve to die-especially like that.
“You are the type of person who treats your serious mental health condition” Ok but like- jigsaw wouldn’t say that kinda thing if she was wearing a cast for a broken leg or putting eardrops in for an infection
Kramer was always an asshole about mental health. One of his first victims was a guy who attempted to unalive himself and Kramer was super pissed about it because outwardly he was perfectly healthy which I guess in his eyes is the only valid reason to do this.
This is a small thing but I appreciate that you take the time to rerecord (or dub or whatever) the opening for each video so that you’re asking people to watch the film your actually doing, rather than using a generic “be sure you watch this film to support” As someone who works in development and donor cultivation it’s the little things that matter and stick with people and shows you care. "Okay, um, I won't take antidepressants." "You have chosen to allow your life to be overshadowed by sorrow, without fighting back. Now you will be overshadowed by..." "What if I go to therapy, but don't take antidepressants?" "Your fear of medication has prevented you from doing everything you can to stay alive. Now you must confront..." "You, uh, you're just doin' a murder, huh." "...cut out a bit of your brain or I'm gonna drop an MRI machine on you." Jigsaw's all about heads-I-win-tails-you-lose.

Fun fact: The film actually intended to have John, after all this, realize what his result of his legacy be, have a heel realization. To quote Bousman: "For the first time, we actually see him break down and cry. Imagine your entire life's work. You're on your deathbed. You know there's nothing else you can do an here's how you'll be remembered: as a killer, as a murderer. Not as someone who helped people. Not as someone who changed lives. Someone who took away lives. The one thing he didn't want to be and, as he's on his deathbed, he's realizing this." Maybe Lynn would actually get through to John since she probably reminds him of Jill (as he hallucinates his ex during the surgery.) Would've been an interesting scene for sure, and even kind of an emotional one.
Funny, for some times that's what I wanted to have for the films. Jigsaw realizing what he's doing and what he has done. It's just so important and interesting for the character, but sadly they decided to dive deeper in unnecassary blood and gore fest and a bit far-fetched plot. Really sad, it had potential.
@@yesno2697 True, but I think it's mainly what should've been done in general. I think the series has a great potential but past 3, it became more of a gore fest than something else. But yeah, I like Saw III even though it may not be the best, I see many people hating it badly
Jigsaws reasons for torturing people are so weird? What’s next is he gonna say “I wanna play a game, one time you use “can” instead of “may”. Now get out of this trap.”
As awful as jeff he is in my opinion the perfect character for this film. Hes a vengeful fundamentally awful person who is repetadly shown his cruelty personified by the saw traps. In a way jigsaw is showing him how vile his vengeance truly is.
Yeah I never thought his slowness was a plot slowness, I think it was on purpose because he hated the victims and didn't really want to save any of them.
@@Grassroots_Hegemon That doesn't explain his stupidity in never listening to anyone even after it caused 3 deaths and put his wife in a life threatening situation... Seriously he might as well be an Antagonist at this point.
Film theory has done a video on why he thinks Adam survived and it’s REALLY interesting. and brings up a lot of good points. Unless we SEE a character die in these movies they’re most likely gonna come back later. And the chain was on the wrong foot in saw 2 and final chapter. Jigsaw says “put his left leg in the shackle” and the corpse has the shackle on the right foot. TWICE. This series does their HOMEWORK with continuity and I don’t see them messing up that simple of a detail.
Hang on I’ve just realised, Jigsaw didn’t want Adam to die AT ALL! Think about it! He listened to the whole 8 hour conversation between him and Gordon and got a judgement of how kind hearted Adam actually was. For example, Adam did not want to show Lawrence the photo of his kidnapped wife and daughter as he didn’t want him to feel more upset! Jigsaw’s final words to Adam before the Game Over were.. “The key to that chain IS in the bathtub!” Key word (pun intended) ‘Is’. Jigsaw was still under the impression that they Key was still there not knowing at the time how haphazard Amanda was with the key! He probably expected Adam to do the same thing and be a survivor. Edit: Also take note that Jigsaw only says... “Most people are so ungrateful to be alive; but not you, not anymore!” to those who survive... Ergo, why he said it through Billy to Amanda (who surprise, surprise, survived!) Also to those on the Saw ride at Thorpe Park who survive!

EDIT: The fact that James himself called it sanctimonious bullshit a couple of minutes after I wrote this just makes it all the better.
true

@@GoldLeafGardenia Grief and the thirst for revenge are powerful things.
XD

2:00 "On the screen is Professor Puppet. Billy to his friends."
That part killed me, pun not intended XD.
Fun fact: The film actually intended to have John, after all this, realize what his result of his legacy be, have a heel realization. To quote Bousman:
"For the first time, we actually see him break down and cry. Imagine your entire life's work. You're on your deathbed. You know there's nothing else you can do an here's how you'll be remembered: as a killer, as a murderer. Not as someone who helped people. Not as someone who changed lives. Someone who took away lives. The one thing he didn't want to be and, as he's on his deathbed, he's realizing this."
Maybe Lynn would actually get through to John since she probably reminds him of Jill (as he hallucinates his ex during the surgery.) Would've been an interesting scene for sure, and even kind of an emotional one.

Film theory has done a video on why he thinks Adam survived and it’s REALLY interesting. and brings up a lot of good points. U find them at Mills
Hi I'm James A. Janisse
Let's get to the kills
Nice dude but why at the mills?
@JohnACorp782 Bro why you lying and also why do *you suck* at being mean.
How can people fight here? It's a nice rime and ya'll fightin tf is up with ya
The big bean roses are red violets are blue you couldn’t tell a funny joke even if it would save you
Someone Somwhere ??
I love your kill counts :)
Videomen karlo002 same fam
Saw a check mark right next to his user so I was expecting people to say: “OOOH I looooove ur vids Ken”
SlopeS_yle tbh I dont even know who that is 😂
Don't worry nobody know me :D
Weeeaboooo
The rack trap is probably one of the most twisted traps in the Saw series. (Damnit I just made a pun)
Cigar3tin Nic0tin0 nice one
frick
It is so fucking crazy
That and the rib one.
Someone: *stubs their toe and complains*
Jigsaw: *_do you even appreciate life bro_*
SAMF Jeff was only using 1% of his slowness. If he was using 100% he would complete the challenges at the moment of the heat death of the universe.
In my opinion this was the worst jigsaw movie cause all the characters were stupid and Jeff is also slow
Odd because It’s my favorite one
But- all the traps were good
I liked the medical drama aspect of it. Felt weirdly fit in the series
Daniel j. Milburn truth
BXCP that’s one of my favorites just because of Hoffman and the ending
An hour of this movie is Jeff debating wether he should save the trap victims.
Correction. He's SLOWLY debating whether or not to save them. Classic SAMF Jeff. 😂
@@ajchapman5261 yep because emotional distress plays no part in any of it right?
@@RJLiams Calm tf down. All I did was make a joke about him being slow. I'm not the only one who did.
And only deciding to save them when they're not long off dying anyway.
lynn is one of the many who didn’t deserve it. she worked so hard to keep john alive but amanda and her husband just sucked
the fact that he can stand with both Achilles tendons severed is a miracle
He said that Adam was the one who needed to escape. YOUR COMMENT WAS SO DAMN USELESS
Erm...Me confused
Soo... Adam was supposed to be another apprentice (perhaps?) but then jealous Amanda killed him...?
This is just what I picked up.
He drugged himself and fell asleep, he didn’t hear anything lmao.
I respect you for figuring this out thanks
*Jeff get key*
*Gun kills judge*
Jeff: and I oop-
Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Noo, anything but that
OOF Nemo X😂😂😂😂X
I love this
Fun fact: when my dad took 7 year old me to see Santa Clause 3, the person who directs you to theaters sent us into the theater where Saw 3 was playing.
We walked in when the Troy death scene was going on (which is kinda funny because that's my fiance's name)
@@kennytheghostbuster9582 How'd you guys react, if I may ask?
@@TimerdonDWI my dad nearly quickly covered my eyes and rushed me back to the ticket guy.
The ticket guy was like "oh yeah, it seemed kinda weird that you were taking a little kid to a horror movie" then sent us to the Santa clause movie 😂
@@kennytheghostbuster9582Merry Christmas!!
I would have stayed in saw if I was you tbh
