This is the most frustrating one because its the first one to have an actually innocent and noble main character who literally is punished for being a good person
It was though. Riggs was a good man. I wonder if that was intentional to further show the difference between John Kramer and Mark Hoffman, since this is when Hoffman took over. He started to straight murder people, at least more blatantly than John, and many were innocent victims

That scene with Strahm saying "Ah Jill, no no" made me laugh.
I love how right after the dude with his lips stitched together kills the other guy and unlocks his lock he rips open the stitching in his mouth. If he was just gonna rip that shit open anyway why not do it a few minutes earlier so he could talk to the blind dude and be like "Hey, theres a key on the back of your neck. Im gonna come grab it, okay?" 😂

it’s the exact same win condition as Detective Matthews. I think that’s what the note that Rigg found was referring to actually - “Patience, remember WHO you are saving... time is on your side.” basically hinting to Rigg that his game has a similar solution to the one Matthews had to play. that’s my interpretation, anyways.

The timing of this video is so cool. This Saw movie was released in 2007, which in the Chinese Zodiac, was the year of the pig! I was also born on the year of the pig, so this is an amazing way of showing the Saw movie.

They were tested that way for a reason. Jeff was slowed down due to his anger and sorrow, so his test needed him to be quick. Detective Rigg was too quick due to his obsession with saving everyone, so his test needed him to be slow.

10:00 I think what drove John Kramer to become the Jigsaw Killer, was still the failed suicide attempt. As he tore the piece of debris from his stomach, he realized he didn't want to die and in fact never had been more appreciative to be alive. But if that is the lesson he wanted to teach others, he could just bring them to the edge of death, only to save them at the last minute. Here, we learn why he held on to the philosphy that they had to do it themselves so strongly. It was already something he believed before his suicide attempt and his failed attempt cemented his belief. After all, he realized how much he wanted to live the moment he had the option of either bleeding to death or removing the piece himself.
