It was though. Riggs was a good man. I wonder if that was intentional to further show the difference between John Kramer and Mark Hoffman, since this is when Hoffman took over. He started to straight murder people, at least more blatantly than John, and many were innocent victims

The story behind Billy is really sad. The first model Billy we saw was going to be a gift for Gideon, and once they lost him, John got emotionally attached to him, because it was the only thing he had left to remember Gideon.

Kramer had a major supervillain story arc going on, where a perfect storm of shitty events entirely out of his control happened in rapid succession and pushed him over the edge. Not exactly one bad day, but close enough to make a monster.
Cancer inoperability caused by neglect, surviving attempted and unintentional painful near suicide, the accidental death of his unborn baby boy by a drug addict, being a victim of insurance bullshit, etc.
They were tested that way for a reason. Jeff was slowed down due to his anger and sorrow, so his test needed him to be quick. Detective Rigg was too quick due to his obsession with saving everyone, so his test needed him to be slow.
This isn't really that bad. I hardly noticed the blurred out gore, and it was as entertaining as ever. I think that you did a really good job keeping it monetized while still making it fun to watch.
10:00 I think what drove John Kramer to become the Jigsaw Killer, was still the failed suicide attempt. As he tore the piece of debris from his stomach, he realized he didn't want to die and in fact never had been more appreciative to be alive. But if that is the lesson he wanted to teach others, he could just bring them to the edge of death, only to save them at the last minute. Here, we learn why he held on to the philosphy that they had to do it themselves so strongly. It was already something he believed before his suicide attempt and his failed attempt cemented his belief. After all, he realized how much he wanted to live the moment he had the option of either bleeding to death or removing the piece himself.
I love how Saw III infuriated me because Jeff was too slow, and Saw IV infuriated me because Rigg was too fast. AND BOTH OF THEM COULDN'T LISTEN. Rigg should have an insight on EVERYTHING Jigsaw says is for a purpose. "Let go" ,"Time is on your side".

The timing of this video is so cool. This Saw movie was released in 2007, which in the Chinese Zodiac, was the year of the pig! I was also born on the year of the pig, so this is an amazing way of showing the Saw movie.
Even you would've felt that trap coming since that radioactive waste incident enhanced your other four senses, but took away your sight and in it's place you get a radar sense, something most people would have as a 6th sense

I gotta give credit to this (probably) "unintentional easter egg", because Saw 3 the main character is super slow with his actions, but in Saw 4 the main character is TOLD to be either slow, or not react at all, I just find that interesting

just to clarify to those curious as to why Jeff is seen at the end of this movie, its because Saw III and IV are happening at the same time. so while Rigg is being tested so is Jeff. which means John was still alive untill we see him when strahm walks in.
Also, it was Hoffman's interference that caused some the fails in the series. His letter to Amanda caused her to go off the plans caused a lot more deaths. Any traps that were inescapable were altered by Hoffman - Kerry, the opening trap in 3 with the chain in the dude's Lowe jaw - one wherr the only result for the person being tested is death. For some reason, Hoffman threw a wrench in the plans. With 9 movies (Spiral is not included here), there's still pieces of the puzzle missing that will hopefully be revealed in the future.
I'm here so I can find out about the storyline, because I''m way too scared to watch the actual movie, and it's just no fun without James's commentary.

As he tore the piece of debris from his stomach, he realized he didn't want to die and in fact never had been more appreciative to be alive. But if that is the lesson he wanted to teach others, he could just bring them to the edge of death, only to save them at the last minute. Here, we learn why he held on to the philosphy that they had to do it themselves so strongly. It was already something he believed before his suicide attempt and his failed attempt cemented his belief. After all, he realized how much he wanted to live the moment he had the option of either bleeding to death or removing the piece himself.

just to clarify to those curious as to why Jeff is seen at the end of this movie, its because Saw III and IV are happening at the same time. so while Rigg is being tested so is Jeff. which means John was still alive untill we see him when strahm walks in.
Also, it was Hoffman's interference that caused some the fails in the series. His letter to Amanda caused her to go off the plans caused a lot more deaths. Any traps that were inescapable were altered by Hoffman - Kerry, the opening trap in 3 with the chain in the dude's Lowe jaw - one wherr the only result for the person being tested is death. For some reason, Hoffman threw a wrench in the plans. With 9 movies (Spiral is not included here), there's still pieces of the puzzle missing that will hopefully be revealed in the future.
