I have to say, I for one like these news round up-type videos, e.g. 44Teeth News show is a blast, Missenden Flyer’s MCN round up also - I think it just helps keep your audience in the loop generally, from sports, to sales to movies - keep up the good work. Cheers.
I'm pleased to see Cake is back, a friend and I took the Makka, the Osa and the Kalk for test rides round London last year. Of the three it was the cheapest, the Makka that was the most fun, it's so light, so simple, it feels more like a bicycle you don't have to pedal and 30mph top speed really doesn't matter in Central London. And the comments we got at every set of traffic lights, mostly from 20 somethings, all really interested, all commenting on the Scandinavian styling.
Gents, this is one of my favorite events to kick off my Friday mornings here in the USA, "THE FULL TANK PODCAST!" I love and appreciate the content and both of you as well. (2022 Honda NC750XA)
I’m looking forward to the big reveal! As an owner of a 2017 V7III Racer I’m hoping it’s going to be the Guzzi V7 Classic. But I’d also love to see a ‘15-‘17 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8v on the channel someday as well!
So glad that screaming in-line 4, small capacity sports bikes are making a come back...the parallel twin thing is getting soooo dull. The one crucial bit still missing are those lovely delta box style frames, the ZXR4RR and this CF would be absolutely mint if they had a smaller version of the Yam 900GP sub-frame.
I had been asking Dutch to advocate for a Bike Shed screening of thr Bike Riders. I know he was working on it. Shame the London got one only and not the LA Shed like I was hoping. Cool that Tim got in though! Funny enough i use to work at IMDb. For moto movies tron and tron legacy, biker boys, the great escape and mad max!
I saw the film last week. It was very good with some excellent acting, especially from Jodie Comer. Some beautiful vintage Harley Davidsons, pans, shovels etc and as you said the soundtrack plus the bikes soundtrack was excellent. I would also add that it was done in a documentary style.
In terms of documentary films, I'd throw in any of Austin Vince's films. He's got a very distinctive style, which for some is a bit Marmite, but they document several long distance motorcycle trips including twice round the world long before the Hollywood touch of Long Way...
I really loved the papio ss but didny want buy a brand new 125 so i got the grom. I froth at the mouth looking at the 500 voom. I love the bug eye and square headlights of the 80s but if i were to buy an 87 gsxr for my first "real" street bike it would either be a basket case or somebody's baby i end up dropping because im used to groms and dirtbikes not 500lbs machines. I am temped every day to go and finance a gsx8r but boy does the cf moto look cooler and have 2 more cylinders to satiate my boy racer desires lol. Fingers crossed to hear itll be coming stateside hopefully soon
The film wasn't what I expected, but I did like it and find it was a good motorcycle movie. I would have to add my first motorcycle movie in tbe mid seventies CC and Company, mad max (only the first one), the wild ones, there was a spanish movie (I can't recall the name) it wasn't to bad, easy rider is a must...
I grew up with Easy Riders, (great film and a must see, especially if you like biking), I have to say I’m staring at Bike Riders down my nose - seems to be trying too hard to be ‘Cool’, which makes it instantly not cool for me personally.
I think you have to remember that it's based closely on Danny Lyons' photo documentary and his accompanying taped recordings shot over several years as a member of the Chicago based Outlaws. So it doesn't have to try to be cool, it just is.
Guys just a heads up but im sure ducati did a 996 matrix as a special and if you can find me one next to it should be some hen teeth and a little bit of rocking horse du du only saying coz I am THE matrix fan 😂 but im sure they did please don't burst my bubble 😂😂😂😂❤
What age group would you find acceptable to show an interest in the bikes you're making reviews for? Do you have any other criteria before you're approached? Colour/gender/weight/orientation.............
😂 hilarious these EV claims for torque, taking the biscuit 😅 ..,comes down to a quirk in how torque is calculated.. if a Rocket could generate it’s torque at zero revs it would probably be over 1000NM, meanwhile EV’s at equivalent to rpm of ICE bikes are just not nearly as torquey once up and running. I’d take the Meaven (?) over the Cake any day,

Love em too mate

the 500SR VOOM looks epic with its retro styling but the front DRL and headlights reminds me of Man Ray from Spongebob.
Win win. I'm partial to bikes with "faces" especially goofy ones.
aka one of the best characters in SpongeBob ever created iconic really
Rob and Tim another great episode of the podcast, keep up with great work 😊🤟💪🤟
One movie I liked from the 80’s that had some bikes would have to be the movie TRON
And the remake with that tasty black Ducati Sport Classic.
Wild Hogs. A must see!
Glad cake get a second chance. Looked like a lot of fun.
I still wouldn't buy one, but love that they get to keep going
@@Bugside Yeah keep scamming people with a product nobody wants.
Yeah, you should go and ride all the Cake bikes. Would be super fun and interesting to see!
I’m looking forward to the big reveal!

Hey, we had to perfect the 2020s 270⁰ twin. Now that it is complete, we can move on
12:17…looks like the CFMoto Voom has a 16000 redline 😊
Peak toque at 10k fading to 16k 😊
@@word2228 I have no idea how the power curve is..was just stating redline since they were not sure 🙂
" 12 O'Clock" refers to wheelies in the 12 o'clock position - or vertical.

Very nice.
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 “Stone” should be up there as both a cult classic and an iconic motorcycle film.
I saw the film last week. It was very good with some excellent acting, especially from Jodie Comer. Some beautiful vintage Harley Davidsons, pans, shovels etc and as you said the soundtrack plus the bikes soundtrack was excellent. I would also add that it was done in a documentary style.
Voom 14.000 rpm torque curv on dash? In video
For fictional feature films, the original Mad Max 1979 and Stone 1974. Lots of Z1 bikes these two
The movie Rubber is about a sentient tire that comes loose from a car and rolls thru the entire movie attacking people.
In terms of documentary films, I'd throw in any of Austin Vince's films. He's got a very distinctive style, which for some is a bit Marmite, but they document several long distance motorcycle trips including twice round the world long before the Hollywood touch of Long Way...
If I could fit my 6 foot surfboard on the Cake then I’d could see myself buying one 🤙🏾

500 inline 4 with same power as Kawasaki zx4rr. Sounds like a marketing win!
Headlights make it look like hellboy's karl ruprecht kroenen

Tim reminds me of Rick Astley. And the song starts singing in my head... "never gonna give you up..."
70's Australian movie: STONE.
Very much bikie culture in 70's Australia.
15:56 looks like spongebob Man Ray
EEEEVVVIIIILLLLLL
It's the insurance issue for electric mopeds- SV650 £147.00 per year 125cc equivalent electric £987 !
Same in Sweden. The problem is the battery thefts on electric motorcycles are through the roof.
Instead of windicator I’d call it winklers
If they could just put the 650 in the 450 SS...

I'd let go of my zx4rr for that VOOM.
this engine in sr450 body and lower clipo on with dual brakes !!!!!!!!
Two Australian motorcycle movies, Stone and the original Mad Max movie is littered with bikes and his up against the bike gang in that movie
Think they prefer club to gang

Sorry it was a 998😅
Sweetcorn on Pizza. Criminal. Don't do a food podcast lads.

if you talk about shit on your channel it becomes shit
I am not buying a scooter or mobility bike. I would look ridiculous at 115kg, 6ft and very wide shoulders.
ummm hellllloooooo dumb and dumberrrr classic motorcycle movie lol
Electric vehicles are a joke. Drive for 5 minutes and recharge. You only need to use slave labor for the battery
