@vincentciliberti5026 Thank you very much for your lovely comment. I believe it's important to know that there can be some obstacles and negatives when buying a cheap house abroad, it's always better to be aware of that before rather then get a nasty surprise after you purchase it.
A good selection of lower priced homes, although some would only be large enough for holiday home only. The best one for me is the green home in Fraine. Fraine is quite small with only 200 persons, BUT I have seen many properties online located there that are very, very cheap. My only concern is that one would have to have a car and I'm trying to avoid that by choosing a place that has bus and/or train service to the larger towns. I'm going to look at your other videos now. Thank you for showing these homes and for being honest about their condition. Ciao!
@samsmom1491 Thank you very much for your lovely comment. There are towns where you wouldn't need a car to live although some places are infamous for not so good public transport so it would be a good idea to check reviews for the local buses and trains. I am also looking for a holiday home for myself so considering all options before I pick the right place. Good luck with your search!
I love the first house ,however I assume you need a car which I am trying to avoid. If it's walking distance to all amenities that's a plus. But transport is a problem . Do any of these properties have a bus or train Hopefully I will find some places in your videos that I plan on continuing to watch.
@antonjetakolgjokaj4131 Thank you so much for your lovely comment ❤. I will make more videos about houses with an outdoor space. I would prefer a garden for myself too.
Definitely a couple of those strike my interest. Abruzzo is where I want to be. I'll have dual Italian citizenship in about a year, so it's probably best for me to wait until then to buy.
@robertrosini762 That sounds exciting! Abruzzo has some fantastic options, and waiting until you have your dual citizenship could make the buying process even smoother.
@olivialynnbenavides Hello Olivia, thank you for your lovely comment! Feel free to check out the links below to a few websites where you can adjust the search based on your budget, location, property size, etc. Try looking for property type "farmhouse"-these often have outbuildings for animals that could work well for horses. www.gate-away.com/farmhouses?pag=5&orderby=priceasc housesofitaly.com/features/horse-stables/#headeranchor www.immobiliareitaliano.com/type/equestrian/?orderby=price&order=desc I hope this helps a bit. Good luck with the search! 🐴 ❤️
@jurgenmarth3795 Thank you for your comment. There are some affordable houses in Spain although they are mostly located in the mainland remote areas but from my extensive research Italy has the cheapest and best houses in the Mediterranean. Good luck with your decision!
I'm not looking to profit, so i would buy a house in Abruzzo, but I prefer to buy an already remodeled house. I do understand that I have to pay much more than $12,000 - $15,000
@edwardbagdasarian3634 You will find links in the video description for the properties, just change your setting as per your requirements. There are many houses already renovated. Yes the price would be higher than $15K but you most likely would spend same amount on renovation of an old house.
@ExpatTheExplorer I'm 62 years old and working a lot. I'll retire in 3 years and I don't have much free time to do renovation. That's why I prefer to buy a remodeled house, so I'll move in right away and enjoy my life
Hi Barry, I put links to all properties in the video description, it will lead you to the agents and sellers details, you can contact them directly. Good luck!
Ive heard its hard and takes forever to get your retirement visa there. Is that true.? I would like to go there and be able ri stay not have to leave after3 months because the visa runs out before i had gotten my permanent retirement visa. How hard is it to get.
@davidparrish3538. Hi David, I am pretty sure you would need to apply for the retirement visa at the Embassy at your country and wait for the visa to be processed, which takes between 1-2 months and collect your visa in person before you travel to Italy.
Well done! Towards the end when you mentined the pro and cons of purchasing a property in Abruzzo, you have been very, very honest. We done again.

I’m looking for a cheap house in Landsberg am Lech Germany😮
@BrigittePolzer Unfortunately I have no knowledge of German real estate market. Sorry I can't help.
I am interested in buying a house in Italy please what is the. Process
Wish we were younger! Need hospitals nearer!
@guayames I understand, for hospitals nearby you would be better looking at bigger towns.
Well, with Trump elected, you can expect a lot of Ameerican's inquiring into your properties.
Very ugly house you need lot of money to rebuild inside.. I don’t want to buy somebody’s problem 😢😢😢
@JanosNemeth-y7n
One man's trash is another man's treasure...
Rude!.....then why are you bothering to watch a video for homes under 14K
