Sims 4 - Won't Repair (solution)

Hey all.
I made a video recently; complaining about The Sims 4 not opening.
I was still having problems (more than last time!) weeks after, but we seem to have found the solution to the problem touch wood
Give this a try if your game just wants to repair all the time, yet won't
